I stayed for a month at Manuabu and was very well-looked after and comfortable. The family was welcoming and provided everything that I needed. I enjoyed a spacious Bali room with a comfortable bed, plenty of storage for my clothes, hot shower and breakfast. The pool area is lovely. Excellent value. The location is close to the main street (Jalan Raya) and easy walking distance to the Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace, Sarasawati Temple. There is a taxi area on the corner, making it easy to pick up transportation as needed. I felt safe.

It is on a very narrow street and some cabs will not take you straight to the property (private drivers will usually, however)... not the property's fault but for those with heavy bags, you may have to walk a little. I would have enjoyed a coffee-making station in my room but the morning coffee provided with breakfast was excellent.

1. Not really clean pool and some arrogant Ruzzians which do not know difference between private pool and shared pool. Unfortunately, during our whole stay in Bali we heard multiple complains on these nationals from both locals and tourists. I wrongly thought that at least in Bali will have peace from these trouble makers 2. Not stable internet 3. Only one electric plug

The owners and breafast was very good :)) and the location. It is near the centre, but NO moto or auto noise :)) very beautiful environment

In the room was ants :(( a lot of spider webs in the terrase.

The location was excellent. It was one street off a main drag. So quiet. Rooms were spacious. Good aircon. Comfy beds. Pillows were a bit big but great for sitting up reading. Cleanliness was a bit poor in the kitchen area but we barely used it. Pool was well utilized. They need a sign for reception as us and others didnt know where to go. Breakfast was nice. About 20mts to the left is the most amazing warung, delicious food, great service and cheap. Laundry opposite direction 20rp per kilo. Cheapest massages on next street. Good choice of cafes.

Few little areas could be cleaner. A broom would be good as bugs eat at the roof and leave alot of mess that you walk through. A few more floor mats.

Not knowing that the units around the pool or two bedroom units really failed in. But even look very basic units are fantastic. Simple but completely fine. The only thing they could use in the simply donuts. It may be a little refrigerator but I’ll be honest have a fabulous patio and again the staff was great as is the breakfast

Had a great stay here for 5 nights! Location is off main road so very quiet but is only 5-10 minutes walk from the main area and easy to get a scooter! Rooms were very spacious with big comfy beds. Stayed here as a solo female traveller and felt very safe - doors lock with key and with bolt. Lovely grounds and pool and little undercover area outside of room with table and chairs so you can sit out under cover if its raining! Staff all very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay again if I am back in Ubud. Great value for money! :)

The breakfast was delicious with tea or coffee offered, pancake, toast, omelette, and an array of fruit! The pool is so beautiful with the jungle backdrop, and the staff were so incredibly lovely and accommodating! We had a lovely relaxing stay and felt so at home and comfortable as a party of 3 young women travelling. There happened to be 7 golden retriever /labrador puppies at the time too which was a delight! It was quiet, and off the main road, and the beds were very comfy for sleep. It was close enough to walk to the yoga barn and good food options that we walked the entire time in Ubud! I will definitely be back!

Lovely compound, nice pool, and we were well looked after by Ibu, Nenek, and Yuni. Excellent breakfasts (we just had omelettes, fruit and coffee for the whole stay), at a time to suit us. Very comfortable beds, cold aircon until we acclimatised better, and a good pressure shower. The only thing missing for us was a kettle, but the boss lady brought us a Thermos every morning, along with two glasses. This compound is in a reasonably central location, although far enough away from Monkey Forest Rd that you need a cab in the heat of the day. We recommend Manuaba Inn 100%, and suggest Moon by Sun, and Sun Sun restaurants (both part of the same restaurant really), just by the Post Office.

I would recommend washing your clothes by hand if you can. We sent out one load that was returned with about 50% of the load ruined, by what appears to be filthy water.

Such a wonderful place to stay! We originally booked 2 nights and decided to extend for a week because we enjoyed it so much. The owner and all staff were very warm, friendly and kind and easily contactable. The location is great walking proximity to warungs, shops and the yoga barn. The accommodation was pleasantly simple and very comfortable, and the absolute highlight was the seven gorgeous puppies coming to visit each morning. Highly recommend!

Traditional Balinese room that was spacious with enough storage. Lovely terrace in front of the room where breakfast was served daily. Excellent location walking distance to the busy streets yet close to the warungs for food. Laundry on the same street. Lovely pool at the back of the property. Owner and her staff work hard to ensure stay is everything you’re looking for.

My only complaint is the ants in the bathroom. I suspect they are in between the wall where the bathroom door is. I am not sure what can be done about it but it was a nuisance as they were able to get into my husband’s pill carrier causing him to throw a week’s worth of prescription away. I didn’t leave anything in the bathroom and used zip bags for my toiletries to prevent ants in my belongings
