Very near to local market. Just half kilometre from Bali palace and major commercial area. Yet, very quiet surroundings. It gives more homely feeling as the hostel is situated in the backyard of a traditional Balinese house. Every morning and evening the chanting of Hindu mantra 'Om Namah Shivay' can be heard being played very softly. The owners and the staff are very helpful. The swimming pool is nice and clean. Breakfast is tasty but with limited options.

The bathrooms need more attention from owners. Our washbasin faucet was broken and we could barely operate it. The bathroom mirror was opaque. Need more electrical sockets in room for charging mobiles and laptops.

Big, spacious room. Breakfast included (a choice of one dish which came with some fruit and a drink). Pool was very much enjoyed after a hot day exploring. Great to have a fridge and kettle.

The bed was extremely squeaky and would wake us up in the night when rolling over. The shower had to be held when used, there was no attachment on the wall. A small chair at the desk and a bin in the bedroom would really pull this room together.

the location is manageable to walk from Ubud Palace and market area. there are nearby restaurants as well for a quick meal if tired to walk around. pool is nice as well. and with free breakfast which is very helpful to start the day :) I actually prefer staying in homestay when in Ubud to get the Balinese culture feel.

the air-condition is not that strong to cool the place, but they have a huge ceiling fan as added ventilation. bed mattress is too soft for me but can still put you to sleep :)

We liked this Balinese style local guesthouse. The location is walking distance of restaurants / main street. Breakfast was served at your room. There is no restaurant at the guesthouse The pool is nice. The rooms / beds are fitted with fly-nets which keeps the bugs out. We enjoyed our stay! The staff is friendly and easy going.

Excellent staff who were extremely friendly. Location is excellent and is just a five minute walk to the main markets in ubud. Also never felt too far away from any of the main activities in ubud (atvs, mount batur, monkey forest, water temples, and rice terraces) Lovely room with a balcony which was lovely to spend evenings on. Pool was also a good size. It felt excellent value for money also.

Nothing too major but some small issues The wifi didn’t work in the room itself, but somehow was amazing on the balcony. As aforementioned we spent a lot of time on the balcony rather than in the room so this was not a massive issues. However there was an unpleasant smell in the room which did go away when lots of water was poured down the drain but the unpleasant smell persisted everyday. Again wasnt a major issue as it wasn’t necessarily noticeable when showering etc but was not pleasant when first entering the bathroom.

Lovely guest house with very friendly staff. I really enjoyed the pool. Not many people around so you get the swimming pool all to yourself. Plus, the beautiful garden surroundings, makes for a very relaxing experience. Location wise, I like to walk, so it was great for me.

The only thing not so good was the cleaning of the bathroom. I really wanted to enjoy the bath but it wasn't as cleaned as I would have wanted, so I didn't use it. Also worth mentioning is that the curtains in my room didn't block the light. So, early morning start it is (they have different curtains in each room. It just happened that in mine the fabric was thin). Be mindful, not TV in the room.

- Super friendly and helpfull staff - Good WiFi connection. We worked remotely and it was reliable and sufficiently fast for everything, at least in the upper room that we had. - Very clean rooms (even daily cleaning) and comfy (firm) bed. - Breakfast was brought up to the room every day and was simple but good and tasty - Not much noise from the streets since it is located well. - Great and clean pool for refreshment - Water refill available - Renting a scooter available through the host

- Walls are unfortunately very thin, so we were able to hear all neighbours, sometimes throughout the night. - The neighbour next to the guest house has too many roosters which start making loud noise at around 4:30am until 7am. In the First night it bothered me but for the rest of the stay I used ear plugs. I recommend earplugs for everyone who is noise sensitive - sometimes the neighbour next to the guest house also burnt leaves or something else. At times we could slightly smell the smoke in our room as well. Apart from the thin walls (and the neighbour with roosters and smoke, for which the guest house is not to blamed for) it was a great stay for us.

Located near one of the big roads but you cant hear the noise from the road. Good location, nice pool, nice rooms.

Our toilet had a very strong smell of urine, not a deal breaker for a budget traveller but could be a problem if you are sensitive. Or hungover..

Great stay, good location for exploring Ubud and very quiet and peaceful despite being so close to a busy road!

Very spacious room with a view of the countryside (applies to the room on the top floor), large bathroom with a separate wc area and separate shower, nice garden and pool, hotel in the center but a bit out of the way, hosts helpful, friendly, friendly, practically everything can be arranged (scooter, laundry, excursion) with the help of the reception, the ability to buy basic drinks on site and drinking water unlimited to refill. Air conditioning was very efficient, you could tightly shade the windows and sleep longer, no annoying noises from the neighborhood. On the last morning, the staff seems to have forgotten the breakfast ordered for us but they mobilized in no time when we checked out and prepared take-away sets which was very nice and tasty

In fact, it was a very pleasant stay and I might go back there another time. What I noticed is that the cleanliness and cleaning is not at the highest level - the floor was very sticky and this despite the daily cleaning of the room (maybe the floor was not washed with water and only vacuumed?) and there were stains on the bedding. The room is already a bit worn but this in no way interferes with the stay. At the pool there are only a few sunbeds and the rooms are a dozen - there is not enough space for everyone. Hotel accepts only cash payments. All this did not bother us too much and in general I recommend this hotel because the price/quality ratio is fair.
