The resort and room was absolutely perfect - granted many stairs to get to it, but that's part of what made it feel like our own private villa in the jungle. It was very clean and spacious, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the view from the terrace was beautiful. My only note would be to have a bit of heat in the private pool because it was COLD, and we would have spent much more time in it if it was a bit warmer - but it was very *refreshing* for a quick plunge after a morning walk/workout. The grounds were beautifully taken care of and provided stunning jungle views left and right. The service was also always responsive and very warm and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway close to Ubud!

We had the room with the private pool, and the pool could have been heated a bit to take the edge off - it was COLD!! Would have ensured we used it much more. Otherwise, everything was GREAT!!

Hit the jackpot booking this hotel. Very good food. Staff were very helpful and kind. Room was clean and comfortable and extremely good value. Glad I didn’t book a room with a pool since the main pool was big and never too busy. Spa services were exceptional. Close proximity to everything in Ubud via bike or taxi which are very cheap. We ended up staying at this hotel the whole time and travelled round the island from there which didn’t prove to be an issue. About an hours drive to most places. The highlight aside from the staff was definitely the view every morning waking up to a forest of palm trees which also meant it was always peaceful and quiet.

The view of the jungle and the location of the hotel are a big plus, although the noises at night can be loud and you have to get used to it. Spacious room, clean 😊 Wanya (I don't know if I wrote her name correctly) deserves great praise, she is helpful, nice and knew how to take care of everything :)

The food is poor, sometimes you have to wait 50 minutes for breakfast even though we arrived around 7 am... As for the standard of the hotel, the breakfast was nothing special, sometimes we were served cold. I don't know if it's because the hotel restaurant is being renovated or it's always been like this... If we had had clear information that the restaurant wasn't working, we wouldn't have chosen this hotel. Drinks ordered in the evening - they were very weak. Unfortunately, sometimes requests to the service were not answered on time and you either had to repeat yourselves or be very patient.

Beautiful grounds surrounded by jungle. Views of the valley. Fresh flowers placed everywhere. The attention of the staff was exceptional. The rooms are large and well appointed. Water in room, turn down service with cookies. Rooms are very private. Spa was lovely. Many freebies, we received a free 60 min massage. Positioned outside of Ubud. Takes around 30 mins to walk into town along the ridge walk or 15mins by free shuttle service. Plenty of taxis back if needed. Great restaurants and village close by. Try restaurant ‘Me’ to left (looking at hotel). Entertainment several nights. I miss this place already.

The food is good but not exceptional. It is built on the side of the valley which gives the place its charm but beware there are many steps especially if you are in a lower pool villa. We did not mind.

The view of the rooms and the hotel is magnificent. The location of the hotel is very good, it is far from the crowd in Ubud center but easy to get there with the shuttle in 20 minutes. The breakfast was perfect, lots of options and everything was delicious. They are giving an afternoon tea/coffee and snacks. The food prices for the dinner are not expensive and they are similar to the cafes/restaurants in Ubud center. The rooms are very big and comfortable. The cleaning of the room was very good. The staff were incredibly helpful and respectful. Even after the check out they helped us a lot.

The shuttle service is only 3 times a day, it could be improved. The food options for dinner are limited, there could be more choices.

The location of Jannata Resort is perfect. Our house was very close to the forrest and the feeling we had, especially in the morning, was just amazing. In the room everything was absolutely clean and well equiped. We could find there anything we needed. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the plates looked like little artworks. The swimming pool was great, but unfortunatelly we tried it just twice, because our daily schedule was very busy. We hope next time we'll spend some more days enjoying the swimming pool and the view we could have while swimming. But above all, the people we met there remained in our hearts. The staff was very friendly and allways smiling and they did everything to make us feel confortable. In just three days spent there we lived a lot of beautiful moments, received good energy, made many unforgetable memories. And we learned that we can find friendship anywhere in this world, despite the fact that we live in different countries or on different continents, we speak different languages or have different religions. The hotel is very special, beautiful nature around, close to Ubud center. Hotel does not have menu for kids but the kitchen was very flexible and always came with alternative. They also provided food for fishes so my girl can feed them everyday. We love the room and private swimming pool!!! The most beautiful ever! Also with every towel change, we got new portion of cookies! :) fully recommended

Complicated to travel around as there is no fast found from the location of hotel.. if there is traffic, often trip to the temples can take 2-3h It was quite rainny for many nights and we could not sleep well as we could hear all the storms very strong.

Jannata Resort is a magical place and the best resort in Ubud and all of Bali. Having stayed at various resorts throughout Bali, Jannata goes above and beyond is all areas but especially the service. My wife and I love Jannata so much we decided to get married there and had an amazing ceremony coordinated by their staff Didi and Yuni. Each room is tucked away in the lush forests with perfect views of the Ubud jungle and not a single house to be scene, you feel like you’re in paradise. The private villas with plunge pools are especially magical. The spa is also wonderful, we had great couples massages multiple times over the course of our stay. The food at Jannata was particularly good compared to other resorts in Bali we have visited. They do a great western breakfast with fresh squeezed juices, perfectly cooked eggs and awesome pineapple pancakes and crepes. The Balinese food for dinner was also delicious with a nice selection of grilled seafood and Balinese noodle and rice dishes. Our favorite part of the resort was the wonderful staff that made our stay so memorable. Over the course of a week, we really felt like we got to know the staff on a personal level. We cannot recommend this resort enough.

This hotel is perfect.

this place is just breathtaking. we stayed for few nights and what can I say, unbelievable. we've been welcomed by a refreshing drink while doing the check in. and then the view you have from the infinity pool it's just like being in paradise. the room are amazing, spacious and fresh, with a bathtub that was already filled with water covered by fresh flowers to welcome us in this slice of paradise. breakfast is very very good with fresh fruits and bowls, served on a wonderful terrace where you can admire the rising sun from the jungle.

there's nothing that was bad. everything in our stay was just perfect. we also have used the laundry service while being a bit worried since we have had some past experience in other staying that have ended not so well but here everything went so smooth, the clothes came back fresh, clean and ironed perfectly.
