Rai is the nicest host you're ever going to have. He welcomed us with so much warmth that we immediately felt at home. The place is fantastic, spacious and clean. Each room has a little porch area which is lovely to chill at. Also if you have breakfast included you would have it there. The food is super tasty and some of the fruit comes directly from the garden. The location is also nice as it's away from the main road so it's quiet. It's still just a short walk to many restaurants though. I would highly recommend staying with Rai and experiencing true Indonesian hospitality!

The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a pleasant surprise to find coffee/tee, hot water and cups in the morning and we got hot water again one afternoon to make tee. The room was clean, I even checked for bed bugs and the mattress looked great. Only the bathroom carpets looked a bit dirty. The room was comfortable and practical with several lights, blackout curtains and white privacy curtains, furniture, nightstands.. The location is great, you can walk to the city center, there's some small shops and restaurants around and it's not in a busy street, so there's not a lot of traffic noise.

It was quite loud at times, especially in the morning. There were roosters crowing and there was a construction site right next door.. the upstairs neighbors were stomping on the stairs..

The room is big and far from the road so it's very quiet. The bed is massive and relatively comfortable, the bedsheets are great. God greeted with a smoothie which was a nice touch.

The internet is horrible - WiFi keeps dropping out and signal is very low, and no telkomsel data reception there, so I had to book another hotel just to take a call. The place is quite a maize and I got lost all the time, some signage would be helpful to find the room. The shower head is broken but works. I got stung by something and I think it was in the bed because I got rashes everywhere on the side I was sleeping.

It was in a good location at Central Ubud yet at the end of the alley, which means it was quiet enough. The staff and the owner were very nice, gave me a welcome drink, and were preparing breakfast at a cost The private room was very spacious and the area outside was very relaxing

The biggest downside of this hostel is that it doesn't have an AC, and you have to keep the fan on, which is noisy and never cools enough I wish they would install AC and better increase the prices While it wasn't a very big issue for me, I wish they could provide a common fridge and kitchen as it would be important for long time stay

Owner was super helpful with everything, bed and pillows were comfortable, water available, motorbike rental on site and owner helped me get a phone holder thank god because roads are crazy in Ubud

Some rooms don’t have AC - I didn’t read this closely enough. However when i got to property owner was able to switch my room no issues. Just make sure to select one with AC if you want that

I received the welcome drink. The room was specious and looks nice. Has enough of all needed furnitures. Morning roosters voice and that was quiet.

Internet barely work in my room, it was loosing constantly connections. Impassible to do a video call with this wifi. The sink was dirty when I arrived - some hairs inside and black dirt which I cleaned myself. I asked for proper cleaning of it next day, but couldn't spot the difference. Same soup dispenser was not clean. Rest of the room was fine. One note that the paved path could be a bit cleaned too. It's not anymore light as it is on the pictures. In front of my room was also some dirty old fish tank which wasn't too nice view.

Good value Location good if you don't mind a bit of a walk to the main street compared to other accomodations Welcome drink was nice Staff were nice especially the smiley grandpa Bathroom is quite big Lots of greenery and a nice fountain in the yard

Bathroom set up is a bit awkward: toilet and shower right next to each other on one half and the other half is just the sink If you are unfortunate enough to have loud neighbors who come home at 1am and chta to each other right next door, the thatched roof will let in a lot of the noise (even with earplugs) Showering will wet everything around (e.g., toilet)

The personal was very kind and flexible. I could book the same day, leave my bags in a room safe before checking and I arrived very late. Breakfast was good. The room very spacious, comfy and clean. The rainy jungle sound in the night made it special.

A kind of pigeon was making noise during the night from the top of the roof, I didn't know what it was at the begining and was scary. Would be good to mention the new guests this could hapen and it's not dangerous.

The service! The guy who works there is fantastic - makes perfect breakfast (try the omelett), runs around to take care of everybody, helps arranging travel plans, is incredibly kind and polite and friendly! All the staff was really really nice to us. The room we got was twice bigger than other with similar prices and had a super cozy terrace. The location is a few minutes away from the busiest street, but somehow it's calm and relaxing. A perfect place to stay in Ubud!

Some may be bothered with sound isolation because you can hear what your neighbour talks in his room. We didn't mind that at all!
