We liked that it was a bit further out of Ubud so much quieter than being in the city itself. The staff were very friendly and nice the whole time we stayed! There was the option of room service everyday - but you could also opt out which was good. Finally, it was great that if you chose to eat at the restaurant you could also eat it outside your room. This helped so much on days we were very tired!

There were a few things which could have been improved, such as the soundproofing between rooms. There was a loud family at the hotel and it was very loud in the room. Secondly, there were a few stains on our sheets so we think it's time to upgrade these for sure.

Very nice place and pool area, beds super comfy, quiet area, nice large balcony! Also appreciated the different places to put your personal items both in the room and washroom. Less than 10 minutes away from several warungs/restaurants but by scooter, so by foot can be a little far from places.

Okay breakfast, but have had worse in Bali. Thin walls so you can hear everything (suggest taking an upper floor). Washroom can use a little more cleaning up (around the shower). Many mosquitoes, even mid sunny day.

My daughter and I chose to visit Ubud during our stay in Bali. We chose very well at JJ's. The highlight being the Spa package. We had a 3 hour package, massage, deep body cleanse, bath and facial. Exceptional value for money and with quality masseuses. The staff were helpful, kind and understanding. Just what you need when on holidays in a foreign country. At JJ's you didn't need to go anywhere as they cooked on the premisses, very good Satay. Yes the staff, cooked, cleaned, were reception... they did it all. Our driver even took us to Suckling Pig just for lunch.

We didn't realise we were so far from Ubud centre, staff supported us with finding a small scooter we could use. As we have been to Bali before we knew that sometimes cleanliness is in the eyes of the beholder.

The nature around the property and the green clean garden with the pool were a great place to relax. The highlight was the very kind and friendly staff that made us feel home. The staff was very mindful, even prepared us special meal orders due to my special diet. Specially the girls, Widi and Novi, are great communicators, and always there when we needed anything.

Bathroom needs a window for ventilation and light. Otherwise all great!

This place is a little Gem. We arrived really late and hungry after a long 12hr flight. Despite the restaurant being closed they kindly made some food and brought it to our room. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The whole team full of smiles. This place is excellent value for money. On site scooter rental Taxi service Laundry service all very reasonably priced. A special mention to Boma who gave us an excellent tour for the day. Highly recommend

Shame there was building works taking place behind our bungalow. We were woken up every morning and difficult to get our baby down for naps during the day Beds are small

We had a lovely stay in this charming hotel. The two-floor bungalow was a charming experience, comfortable and cozy, with rustic charm. The surroundings were beautiful as well, just a short drive from Ubud, surrounded by rice paddies. The staff were kind and welcoming, and helpful during our stay, making us feel right at home. We'd gladly stay again, and highly recommend!

If you would like to rent a scooter and explore the nature of Ubud, the location was perfect. It was only a 10 minutes ride from the village centre too. The room was spacious, simple but beautifully decorated with a large bathroom featuring a walk in shower and a bathtub, just as depicted.

I loved the wooden set up of the cottages but unfortunately I could hear everything from the room above us.

Very cute bungalows with a nice pool and the location was great. Set in a quiet street but also not too far from Ubud center.

Internet was very slow. The aircon was naking a terrible noise against the wall of the bungalow and tere was a slight drain smell in our bathroom. But that did not make our stay less enjoyable, its just little things they can fix.

We loved the stillness, peace and quiet. You're literally right in the middle of local rice paddies fields. Royal JJ organised our airport pickup with a really lovely driver. We hired a scooter for a week and generally loved our stay at Royal JJ, hot showers, comfy beds, great AC but you don't really need it at night. Pool lovely and refreshing, really friendly and polite staff if you take time to talk to them oh and the spa therapists are lovely and really good treatments and that's coming from myself who is also a holistic massage therapist. 10/10

Rooms not so soundproof so if the people staying below you have their TV on loud you can here that. Also menu is a little limited but great breakfast options. Also you'll need transport to get around if you can't drive or ride a scooter down load the Grab App and organise pickups etc

Super peaceful, staff were lovely! Clean rooms. Loved the treehouse vibe of the rooms, felt like you were living in a jungle. Free breakfast was really good!

Not a sociable place but that’s what we wanted so it was perfect for peace and quiet. Is fairly far from Ubud town centre but can easily get a grab.
