Applecroft House is in a quiet neighbourhood. It felt very busy in Killarney so we were pleased to have a peaceful garden and room to come home to. It is a 20 minute walk into the centre of town and cost €9.50 for a taxi back to the B&B. Our hosts were fantastic and made us feel very much at home. Kathy gave us lots of tips for local attractions and went the extra mile for our son. It’s the smallest of personal touches that make the difference between a good and exceptional stay. Our room was very spacious, exceptionally clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. We particularly liked the Bircher muesli.

Kathy and her Family were extremely friendly with a warm welcome. Knowledgeable with details on where to visit. Even made maps. Location was a comfortable walk into Killarney. The triple room was spacious and ideal for a family sharing. Her much highly reviewed breakfast lived up to its reputation. The soaked oats divine. Would highly recommend and would stay again. It was one of the best places I have stayed in my whole life and I have travelled a lot. Kathy is absolutely lovely, excellent and her whole family gave us a warm welcome. Kathy bakes everyday, the breakfast is wonderful. The place, the house, the beds and the garden, everything is just so well thought. This is a gem ! We loved our stay 💕

The breakfast was amazing - freshly made scones or croissants each morning as well as freshly made bread and toast. Choice of fruit and cereals and then all cooked options. I have pancake one morning and it was the best I have ever had. The rooms are so big, loads of space. Fresh towels all the time. Everywhere so clean and tidy. Friendly host. Cute dog. Amazing garden to sit out in on a morning and have a coffee. And close enough to town to walk there and back or 5 mins in a taxi. Perfect area to explore Killarney. Would stay again 100%!!

This is by far one of the best BnB's we have ever stayed in. The hostess anticipates your every need. We loved our stay, and appreciate the old-fashioned hospitality that you rarely find anymore. Thank you for making our trip to Ireland wonderful!

Exceptional place, quiet, beautiful, and in perfect distance from vibrant centre of the town. Spacious room, garden on the doorstep, absolutely amazing breakfast and perfect location. Kathy the owner looked after us superbly. Highly recommended place.

Everything is just perfect!! Rooms are really big, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is amazing and the service couldn't be better! The garden is gorgeous! Very highly recommendable! We wish we could stay longer!

This was the best B&B at our trip. The room was huge, with nice views to the garden, the bed comfy and very clean. The host was very friendly and breakfast delicious. She organized a bustour for us at the Ring of Kerry which was amazing. Thank you for your hospitality!

Apple Croft is an excellent B+B and I would definitely return. It is in a lovely setting, peaceful and relaxing with a beautiful garden. The host Kathy was friendly and welcoming and our room was spacious and comfortable. The shower was excellent and cleanliness was of a very high standard as was the host’s adherence to Covid guidelines. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room and the breakfast was superb with a wide range of options. The breakfast room itself looks out on the garden and each table had a small vase of fresh flowers which was a lovely touch.
