The room was perfect, very spacious & very quiet. we had our granddaughter with us who is only 2 years old, it was very important that she was able too sleep. Staff were very helpful especially in the resturant for breakfast when one young man went above & beyond to help me get my granddaughter’s breakfast. He was wonderful & a great help. Girls on reception were also very helpful & very friendly. Great staff at this hotel.

Felt the room was cold earlier in the evening, but got extremely hot that night to the point we had too open windows & the same first thing in the morning. It was very uncomfortable & should be turned down a bit. Would be much better if the guest could control the temperature from the room. But it didn’t take from our stay & we will hopefully return to Parkavon. One other little point, we were disappointed in the bar food it definitely wasn’t up too hotel standard & extremely over priced for what we got especially the child’s food. I do feel it’s a poor reflection on the hotel & one would assume rightly or wrongly that the two are connected ? We felt that we would have gotten better food in the local chip shop. Food in restaurant upstairs at breakfast was so much better & enjoyed.

Bed was comfy, room was spacious and the restaurant was excellent with great food and atmosphere. Tea facilities in the room and a great smart TV with all apps you need. Receptionist was friendly.

There was an 89€ surcharge on card when paying with cash. You get it back upon checkout, but it was a blindside. Hairdryer kept cutting off. Bathroom was accessible to a point, I have mobility issues and don't use a wheelchair, but I did feel for wheelchair users the sink was too high. Red cord needs to be unravelled and touching the floor in case it needs to be used. An extra bar near the bath wouldn't go amiss. A walk in shower would ideally be the most accessible as it was difficult to use the bath.

The location was great, very accessible to the town centre, national park, pubs and convenience stores. Walkable distance. The size of the room exceeded my expectations considering the price. It was very clean and tidy. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good.

The lack of consumables such as slippers, toothbrush, robes, bottled water, etc, those that you expect to be provided by hotels. I haven't seen any vending machines as well (at least I don't know where), would have been handy to have one each floor just incase you get hungry in the middle of the night.

Loved the complimentary upgrade and that the pool was lovely.added bonus of a jaccuzzi,steam room and sauna(also separate kiddies pool).Breakfast was lovely but eggs probably were out a bit too long as rubbery. Otherwise it was lovely and great selection. The staff were really lovely,friendly,helpful and overall very welcoming. Location is great for easy access cycling to the national park.

It's need a little updating. Furniture a bit shabby and outdated. Sofa and chairs in the room were dirty and uncomfortable. Remote control attached to the locker making it uncomfortable to use.one lamp was broken and when I went to make a cup of tea in the room the cups and teaspoons were sticky. A good deep clean is needed.no information in the room as to where breakfast was served or where the leisure facilities were located. The room got a bit cold throughout the night and when the heating kicked in it was very loud with banging noises.

So family friendly. Amazing to have a pool and you can't beat the price for a stay on the mucross road. We had a massive room the kids had a ball. 2 double beds. Sofa and TV...Full table and chairs. Really clean and fresh towels daily. Food at the bar was very good and staff were friendly and catered brilliantly for kids. No request was too much! We had a great stay. We rented bikes on mucross Road and it was only a short cycle to the national park ! We will be back ! This hotel is great.

Breakfast was a little pricey for what it was. We paid for kids despite them only eating toast.

The bedroom was beautiful and clean and I must say that the bed was incredibly comfortable. The large tv in the room and the decor makes it extremely cosy and almost a home from home. The toilet and shower facilities was spotlessly clean. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect and its a lovely stroll to the main town.

The only criticism I have was the breakfast in that the space was fairly cramped. Also, and this is just me being picky, there was no fried or poached egg option which i felt was disappointing.

All 4 of us enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna. throughout our stay. The food was very good in the breakfast room and in the bar where we had our evening meal. The room was a lot more than expected, it was more like a mini sweet. The staff were friendly and helpful and had time to chat to us. This Hotel was very clean and nicely furnished, it was more than a 3 star as far as we were all concerned. Highly recommended.

There was absolutely nothing we could complain about in this Hotel, at all. This Hotel and the staff, should be very proud, of themselves.

Breakfast was very nice. My partner had full hot breakfast but I only had some cereal croissants and toast which were all lovely. Coffee is nice and strong. The pool was a nice temperture. Pool is quite small maybe 10metres but there was not too many people in the pool at that time of the day, 6pm. The jacuzzi and steam room were enjoyable, but there was an issue with the sauna, it was hugley way too hot. Even to sit on the bench it was burning and the floor too hot to stand. We left the door open for a few minutes but could not stay in there. The dressing rooms are basic but sufficent. The bedroom was very comfortable, very clean and bed was slightly soft but we slept well in it. The heating system is slightly noisey but we turned this off before sleeping

The sauna in the leisure centre was at a very high temperture level to the point we could not stay sitiing and the flor was burning our feet.

We particularly enjoyed the hot tub in the pool. Also as the pool area only seemed to be used by residents it was nice and quiet. Rooms were a great size and very comfortable.

The location was out of town a bit and we didn't have a car. We stayed in kilarney first 2 nights in Kerry and this hotel was less central, however it is walkable back into town but it takes approx 15 mins and we had to book a taxi to bring us back into train station when leaving as it was raining very heavily. Reception staff booked this for us and it arrived promptly.

Lovely hotel nice room friendly staff . Didn't eat dinner in restaurant as had plans elsewhere but breakfast was lovely. Nice selection . Beautiful soda bread. Lovely orange juice.

The only negative really was no bottled water in room . Vending machine under stairs in lobby right hand side was out of order . That machine had two bottles of sparkling water in it but didnt work . Other vending machine had no water as option. It's only a little thing but worth noting.
