We are keen on seafood and weren't expecting such a good restaurant where obviously people came from the surrounding area, so that most tables were reserved.

Friendly and cosy country pub. Loved sitting by the fire to plan the next leg of our trip. Stayed two nights. It’s a great place to stay to explore the area.

The room was cold when we arrived and since the windows are not properly sealed it was quite drafty. When we went to bed at past 10 pm, the room was still cold. In the morning the heating only started at 8 am. Pretty chilly in the room on a very chilly morning. However, I asked for the heating to start earlier in the morning and on the second morning of our stay, it started and 6 am which was lovely.

Great value for money—-location is convenient, the lodging itself is simple-no bells and whistles but clean, comfortable and a great atmosphere. The food in the restaurant and at breakfast was amazing—try the seafood chowder!!! Good selection of draft beers:) Friendly staff from start to finish… The room has everything one needs and beds were pretty comfy…they weren’t skimpy on the shampoo/soap/conditioner which I am thankful for. We would stay here again without a doubt!!!

Nothing to not like…;)

Beautiful tranquil place. The sun was shining and it was a little piece of heaven on earth. The staff were excellent, all very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and my scallops were cooked to perfection. The bed was very comfortable. Room is small but big enough for a few nights. Great traditional Irish bar with live music. Most enjoyable. Fantastic location to get the ferry to Inishboffin or to visit Kylemore Abbey. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect

Ideal for Wild Atlantic Way and visiting Inishbifon island. Good food / extensive menu Live Irish music

A bit chaotic in restaurant. Felt sorry for the staff who were friendly but inexperienced and getting little mentoring/guidance from management. Had to be prompted by a regular to take further orders from us. Requested a cheese board, which was very nice but couldn't tell you what cheeses I had - I did ask!

The atmosphere and staff and locals were very welcoming and friendly. After climbing diamond hill we drove just 20min to Olivers and checked in. Was greeted by a lovely girl and she showed us to our room with the view of the pier. After freshening up with a shower and change of clothes we went downstairs and got the fish and chips can't beat a classic and a side of Guinness 😋 we stayed on through the evening with some more drinks a couple of games of pool and chatting with the locals before heading back up to bed to relax get cosy and rest 🙂. All in all a perfect night and perfect weekend getaway 👌 we will be back again for sure. Ps we will try the nightclub the staff told us about next time, diamond Hill took it out of us don't think we would of lasted 😁

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff at Oliver's have been very kind to us. The food at Oliver's is amongst the best we've had in Ireland.

At check in the room door and windows were open and all the smell from the fryer filled the room. It wasn't until the kitchen closed that we were able to freshen up the room. If you manage to fix this issue the accomodation would be amazing!

The breakfast was excellent. Cereals, yogurt, fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, jams, breads, tomato. The older lady was fantastic. She was warm and helpful. She gave us directions out of town and helped plan our day. The beds were comfy. We had shampoo and body wash supplied. There were plenty of towels.

Quite a few stairs to carry luggage. They don’t have heat on when you arrive so it’s chilly. Like many other places it’s older design.

Breakfast was lovely - delish salmon & eggs! Location ideal, as I was looking to get the ferry to Inishbofin the next morning. Staff was so helpful, warm and welcoming - had dinner the night I got in...just wonderful. I've eaten at Oliver's during earlier visits to Ireland, but not stayed B&B before - would highly recommend, and will do so again myself.

was a little nervous about a lamp in my bedroom...even after asking to have the bulb changed (and it was) , it flickered and went out erratically. But that's it!

The property was in a nice location with live music that night. The. room was clean and tidy but in need of some redecorating.

There was no coffee or tea in the room, was told that to help your self in the breakfast room, unfortunately no water for the kettle or milk. The room and towels were clean however the room needed some redecoration .
