The hotel was very comfortable, rooms nice and clean wit a great bathroom. We ate dinner in the restaurant and bar, the food was good and waitress very friendly.
Did not like the fact that the hotel advertised its convenient shuttle bus to airport. We waited close to 40 minutes at 6am in the freezing cold for the bus which was supposed to be there every 10-15 minutes. Also the bus dropped us off in the airport car park and we had to walk 15 minutes in the freezing cold to get to the terminal. Sorry but this is a deal breaker, will not stay here again as a result!

Comfort, location & price.
Airport shuttle should go to each terminal on departure instead of the fixed location. There are only two terminals and it is not complicated. Instead of an unnecessary walk to take the flight. A longer walk.

The staff - in all departments were excellent. Housekeeping changed towels every day, even if we didn't need them and always made the bed. The bed was to die for - unbelievably comfortable. Breakfast was self-service with a terrific amount of food options, and marvelous coffee. The hotel offers a 24hr shuttle to the airport which is great if you're going to the terminal or just need to catch a bus to another location.
The only thing we missed was internet TV. For example - we would've liked to occasionally watch Netflix in the evening. The regular TV options we few.

Breakfast was lovely, room was clean and spacious. Check-in process and gathering my own key card was easy and ensured they were no queues at reception. Bathroom was really clean, offering a bath as well as a powerful warm shower. Bed was super comfy.
We had to ring reception to ask them to bring a cot bed, even though I had requested it in the booking. In fairness, they brought one within 10mins of calling, but it’s a little annoying when you are arriving with a small child after 11pm due to travel. No sheets provided with the cot either. Regarding parking, spaces are not very wide and a lot of other guests had parked inconsiderately, which made finding a space quite difficult.

The room was comfortable and clean. I'm not sure what you want me to say on the airport - it is near, and the Clayton hotel keep pushing on site parking. Breakfast we didn't have as we didn't have time
The reception staff need some lessons on customer service - the staff that we encountered were more interested in pushing people to do self-service check in!!!! The person that we had the misfortune to deal with was quite abrupt when I mistakenly thought that we had already paid for the room - a simple error on my part, we had driven four hours to get there, we were tired to be met with this member of staff. The volume of emails re checking in online, and parking onsite.

i stayed at this hotel because i was between flights and had just a few hours here. the check in was completely digitalised. I checked in online and the day of my stay i received a QR code which i used at a kiosk in the lobby. it was all very seamless. the check out was the same. I didn't have any breakfast here but they have a very good area in the lobby which sold teas coffees and pastries. i was a very quiet hotel and great for the few hours i was there. the airport pickup seemed along way from terminal 2 but when i was flying out from terminal 1 the following day it was perfect

Rooms have been updated since I last stayed, so very pleased, comfortable and clean. The shuttle to/from airport is good. The breakfast, for me was very good, as I didn’t have a cooked breakfast. The meats, cheeses, fruits etc were lovely and fresh. I couldn’t comment on the cooked breakfast, it used to be a bit hit and miss because the foods would cool down too quickly. My husband had sausages which he said were hot.
Had to wait quite a time for the shuttle from airport to hotel (around 7.15pm) and we were lucky and got on, but there were more people who had to wait for the next one. The meals always have seemed expensive.

Check in process was easy online & just use the machine upon arrival. The shuttle bus service was very efficient. The driver on my return journey to the airport in the morning was an absolute gent, really nice and friendly. The room was comfortable, spacious and the facilities were good. The toiletries in the bathroom were really nice. Breakfast was really good! It’s a great way to fill yourself up on good food before heading to the airport where they gouge you with their prices. The staff was very helpful. The desk staff especially deserve a shout out. I’m sure they deal with difficult guests who’s travel days may not have gone to plan and they take it out on the desk staff, but they were very professional and just really lovely. It was especially nice to be well rested before travelling in the morning.
It would be good to have a specific stop for the Clayton shuttle at the airport as opposed to just a general area. The wait for the lifts was a little long at times but that’s purely down to the volume of guests staying in the hotel. I just took the stairs when I didn’t have my luggage with me. The shower could do with a screen rather than a curtain as the floor tends to flood a bit with the water from the shower. It would be a good idea to leave a blanket with the spare linens. The duvet is very warm and heavy and a lighter cover may be appreciated. Overall though the stay was excellent

The staff were lovely, the room was big, the beds were comfortable and the free airport shuttle bus was great! Our flight was delayed and we ended up getting to the hotel at just gone 11pm, we wanted to start of our time in Ireland with a pint of Guinness, but we'd read that their bar closes at 11pm, thankfully when we got there, it was still open and was really busy, they seem to stay open for longer if it's a bit busier, so we were more than happy with that 😊
I'd read on previous reviews that there wasn't much of a choice for vegans, some of the reviews were from a few years ago, and unfortunately there still isn't. On the plus side, because there wasn't much of a choice for breakfast, they kindly charged me the children's rate for it, which was really lovely of them as my Dad, who isn't vegan, wanted breakfast there, so it meant that I didn't have to sit there without any food while he was eating. This is why I gave a score of 9, if there had been vegan options, especially in the hot buffet part (like vegan sausages) it would've been a 10 😊
