The location of the Maldron is great for passengers transiting through Dublin Airport. The hotel is clean and the staff very courteous and friendly. I particularly liked the excellent selection of TV channels. The shuttle bus drivers were exceptional. The coffee machine and biscuits in the room were an unexpected bonus.

The Airport signage to the Courtesy shuttle desperately needs improvement. Especially at T2.

The Maldron Hotel is an easy 7-minute walk from Terminal 2 and is the closest hotel to Terminal 2. I'm glad I chose Maldron because Radisson Blu is a bit further away and located across a very busy 4-lane East Link Road, which may be a problem crossing if you are walking with luggage. Checking-in and out was quick. I was allowed to check-into my room earlier than the official 3pm check-in time. There's a McDonalds and Circle K across the street from Maldron Hotel. Its easy to get into downtown Dublin by catching a Dublin Express coach from Terminal 2.

The rooms are on 3 levels but room directional signage is not very clear. Guests may have difficulty finding the lift on their way to Reception when checking-out. The room is basic and there's no fridge in the room. The bathroom is small but very functional.

The staff were friendly, the hotel room clean with a comfortable bed. The bang on time alarm call ( you would be surprised how many hotels "forget ")

Was staying overnight to catch an early flight, the regular beeping noise from the entrance barrier to the car park wasn't exactly conducive to a good night's sleep!!!! After travelling for 5 hours, it was 7 o clock, and we were hungry, but we were told that the restaurant was pre booking only, so we had to settle for the food in the bar. We ordered a Guinness and a Coors along with a burger each from the bar menu, As our drinks arrived at the table, another server arrived with OUR FOOD!!! this would lead me to believe that these dishes are not cooked to order. We were tired and had to be up again at 4am for a flight, so we just ate our "faster than McDonald's " meals (not much difference in temperature either tbh) and went to bed..

Restaurant meal and staff were outstanding. Hotel location next to the airport is excellent. Flexibility to offer early check in was great.Courtesy van service is very good and the driver is a professional who makes a short trip safe memorable and easy.

Room was very cold. We checked in early just before midday. We didn't have any form of heating until 4.30 . We checked prior to that time and were told 4pm then told 4.35. By the time it did come on and eventually provided some warmth we had left the room. We were offered a heater but declined as were going out.. Not acceptable to have cold rooms for guests.

Spacious, comfortable triple room. Lots of tea and coffee provided. Only 12 minutes walk from the airport with a regular mini bus service from outside arrivals, to and from the airport. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Modern, comfortable reception area with plenty of seating.

Someone in the room above was actively walking/running about as we were settling down to sleep but the poor acoustic insulation made it feel like they were in the room with us. Mood lighting was reasonably dim, which was relaxing but it would be useful to have the option to turn on a more powerful task light as the shadows made it really difficult to put on makeup for a special occasion.

The 24/7 airport shuttle service is very convenient for when you land in Dublin, and when you have to go back home. If you get there very late at night, you can just give them a call (using the number at the shuttle station in zone 8). The hotel is pretty close to terminal 2, so you have easy access to buses and taxis. The double and twin rooms are decently sized for 2 people, and the bathroom is very clean despite it being a bit small. The water in the room is free and always provided after the room is cleaned. There is also tea, coffee, and biscuits. You can double lock the door (chain and main lock).

The shower doesn’t have curtains or a sliding door, so the water tends to splash out onto the bathroom floor. There is a ventilation system, but I’m not quite sure how it is activated. So, if you shower too hot for too long, it might get a bit suffocating. Another complaint about the shower is the water temperature. For some reason the temperature kept fluctuating between warm and scalding hot. It was not unbearable but definitely not too pleasant. There are no slippers, robes, or toothbrushes provided by the hotel. The breakfast is decent, perhaps a bit overpriced.

This hotel is far superior to the Radisson across the road. If you are deciding between the two, just go here. The staff are friendlier and more competent. The place has a more pleasant vibe. The rooms are nicer. The bar is nicer. The shuttle bus arrangement is better. They gave me times for departure from the hotel and the airport. In fact, so bad is the Radisson service the Maldon shuttle bus driver said they often lift Radisson customers from the hotel because they feel bad for them because the Radisson customers never know when their bus is arriving. It is important to point out that some staff at the Radisson are excellent, and the bus and bus driver at the Radisson are as good as the Maldron's, but the Radisson is let down by the majority of staff being poor and the shuttle service is poor - and that is management's fault. So, a better experience for the same money. Also, putting aside the comparison with the Radisson, this hotel was very good when compared to other airport hotel experiences. Definitely have no difficulty staying here again.

I think the car park could be more secure. A good fence surrounding the property would be welcome. I left my car here for several days and did not feel comfortable about it.

Staff at reception was excellent. They went out of their way to assist me with our luggages, inc the oversize one(!), and wheelchair up the ramp. And they brought the trolley and wheelchair down to our room next morning. As a carer, the extra hour check-out time, really made a difference. Thanks to the night reception staff, and morning reception staff! Location is excellent on our late flight arrival.

I asked for extra tea bags at the bar and was told after the 2 she gave me, she would have to charge me on anymore requested. I happen to love drinking teas, and the 2 in the room would not last. I do not like the herbal ones. My spouse would have a tea but he succumbed to coffees instead so as not to deprive me (ooops). 🤷‍♀️ I must add though she did give me extra cup of milk as I like alot of milk with my tea! I cannot help being Irish!

Close to airport in fact we walked down with our luggage but used the free shuttle bus to get to the airport the next day, The driver was vert helpful with our luggage and friendly. We did not have breakfast at the hotel and left at 6.a.m. We waited in the lobby of the hotel for a while upon arrival as we did not want to pay additional monies for an early check in. We had a cup of tea and a snack while we waited. I was happy to have help by staff for my check in. Staff person was friendly and helpful. We had to wait an hour for dinner until 6.p.m. as there had been some kind of disruption in the dinning room. Good service in dinning room. Food was good. Comfortable bed and a quiet room.

nothing stands out as being disagreeable.

The bed was comfortable & the bathroom was nice. We were very happy with the air conditioning too. We had a small dinner in the bar area which was good & our servers were very nice. My daiquiri was delicious. Our flight was early & we were running for the van to the airport so an employee kindly told me to just give her our keys & she’d take care of our check out. The transfers ran every 20 minutes & got us there in plenty of time.

Our rooms were on the first floor which was below the reception area. The building is quite long so the hallways are long and the elevators are hard to find and tiny.
