Great location, wonderful beach, very comfortable and clean. Great sleep as very comfortable bed and bedding, peaceful location and some nights you can hear the waves. Food was outstanding, breakfast and dinner were superb, couldn't fault it! Meals were consistently good, the produce is top quality and a superb chef(s), Our best ever hotel dining experience for breakfast and dinner. It is rare that hotel food is so fresh and of good quality, well cooked, tasty & wholesome, we loved the food here!

No wifi, we raised the issue but we still had no internet connection for our 4 night stay. Wifi in the garden rooms needs to be improved or else advise that it is not available.

The location is brilliant, it is right by the beach so wonderful for walking, swimming etc. There is good parking facilities on site. The staff are very good and attentive. The food in the bar was very good. The rooms are clean and modern with comfortable beds and enough storage etc. Its quite and peaceful. Checking in and out was super easy and quick.

There was no TV remote control and no buttons on the tv so impossible to use the TV when in the room. This was reported to reception but we were told there was nothing that could be done as its a known issue with the tvs The parking needs to be sign posted better as the cafe on the corner is partially blocking the sign The water pressure is very good however it does lead to the bathroom getting covered in water as it's a bit too strong.

Beautiful location and accommodation.

The hotel didn't have our booking. We arrived at 2:00 AM and needed beds for 3 people. The manager wouldn't accept my phone confirmation but eventually gave us a room for 1. After more back and forth, we finally got a room for 2 that was incredibly hot. My daughter was planning to sleep in the car, but we eventually opened the windows and jammed ourselves into the room we were given. I'm not sure where the disconnect occurred, but booking.com didn't give us a telephone number that reached a live person. I hope this doesn't happen again because the hotel is a lovely property.

Location is superb. Staff are great, friendly and homely. Breakfast is fully self service which really suited us. Fridge in room was great. Kids were given discount / free entry vouchers for local activities. Food and service in restaurant was excellent.

Nearest 50kw fast charger for electric car is 10 mins away ( Ballina) which is good by Ireland's standards. Hotel has 3 newly installed chargers also, these are the only ones I could find in Enniscrone.

The hotel was lovely and the staff were excellent especially Clayson the night porter was a gentleman came back to the hotel around 1 in the morning to be greeted by Clayson with his lovely smile and a wonderful warm welcoming attitude he welcomed us to the bar for a night cap and a enjoyable interesting conversation staff like him will win over any guest.Thank you to The Ocean Sands Hotel and staff for an enjoyable night away.

Always love staying at the Ocean Sands! First time back since they did renovations and the room was warm, clean and comfortable. Check in staff and housekeeping were great to chat with, and helped out any time I had questions. The location truly cannot be beat right in the centre of Inishcrone and great for beach walks, swimming, and local bars and cafe all within walking distance. Also great to have parking and just leave the car safely at the hotel while we wandered around town. The new cafe in reception is a nice touch as well. Can't wait to come back!

The kettle in our room didn't work and paper cups only were provided for coffee/tea in the room, which was kind of a bummer. Additionally, there was some weird and loud humming noise coming up through the beams at night, we think a bearing is off on some machine and it was reverberating through the building. Hopefully a temporary problem.

Proximity to beach and very nice staff.

The alarm was triggered by a very anti-social guest, we believe. However, the fact that it went on for over an hour was very disruptive and in the middle of the night. It finally appeared to settle at 3am! I felt for the lad at the front desk trying to manage all, but it was very obvious that there was a need for training as I and my group felt it was a bit chaotic during this time. The local staff, it seems, could not reset the alarm and had to wait for a manager. I am sure this is a one-off, but preparation is never wasted!!! Otherwise, everything was fine. I am glad I didn't have children with us that night. It would have been very frightening for them as the alarm was piercing!!

Room was so very comfortable. Except for the unusual feature noticed as soon as I turned out lights - there was what I can only describe as a searchlight effect coming intermittently from the smoke alarm. It never stopped all night and if I hadn’t had “blackout” eye covering I never would have been able to stay the night in that room and fall asleep. In every other aspect the room exceeded my expectations. Housekeeping staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The fish & chips in the bar/restaurant were excellent!

Apart from the aforementioned searchlight inside, the breakfast was disappointing. Instant coffee - corners were cut here! There is however a great coffee shop down the road from hotel, so I would definitely stay again in Ocean Sands for the accommodation/room (and hospitality!)and walk down to the coffee shop for breakfast.

Stayed in presidential suite as a treat to ourselves. Was reasonably priced and very clean and spacious. View was amazing and sat outside on balcony when wasn't raining drinking our coffee. Thermal suite was fab and just had the two of us which made it even better. Couples massage was done well and women were lovely.

Was kept waiting for someone to man desk in spa as were short staffed and I thought it would take away from our allotted time in thermal suite but it didn't so was happy with that.

This was a lovely hotel! The rooms were great. The location was gorgeous (so close to the beach!). You can walk to a range of resturants and cafes. The breakfast at the hotel was very good.

Parking wasn't ideal. There is an underground parking deck behind the hotel, but we were there on a Bank Holiday weekend and it was already filled up. There's free street parking, but that also fills up quickly.
