The location was amazing! The room and view were spectacular!

Nothing to dislike! But the bar closing at 20:30 on Valentines night could do with revising 😅

Lovely hotel in the most beautiful location possible. Couldn't really rate it high enough. I will certainly be back. Staff are excellent without being over fussy and annoying.

Food service was slow...like reeeallly slooow...but hey when the food came it was well worth waiting for 10 out of 10...

The hotel was really lovely . It was a bit of a,distance from the city but this was very peaceful . There were lovely walks down to the beach and the location was convenient .There was a village close by also on the way to the Hotel . It was about 5 minutes in a car . There were shops restaurants there if anybody needed any shopping . Overall it was lovely to get away . We ate in the bar of the hotel and the food was really nice and staff were very polite and helpful.

I would have nothing negative to comment everything was very comfortable and homely and because the hotel is very near the beach it had a lovely calm and tranquil feel to it.

Lovely pub within the hotel. Staff very friendly and breakfast was good. Brilliant location for being out on the coast and in the countryside. Gateway into Connemara National Park and free parking if you're renting a car/ driving. The staff dealt very well with an initial issue with the room and moving us to another.

The facilities such as the gym and pool are dated and need renovating. Equally, location is limited as to where you can travel (if you want to have a drink and walk somewhere). As we stayed 2 nights, it would've been nice to have the sheets changed. Had to change rooms initially because there was a distinctive drain smell in the bathroom.

The location is unbelievably scenic, you really couldn’t ask for a better location for the hotel. It’s close enough to the city that you can get there relatively quickly but it’s also got that rural feel to it and when you wake up in the morning the sound of the sea is so amazing. The staff are exceptional. Raonaid in the restaurant is always very pleasant and helpful. There was also a new gentleman from Cavan who had just started working in the hotel when we visited and he couldn’t have been more polite and helpful. The staff is a major selling point to the hotel. The food in the restaurant is also of a very high standard and every bit as good as a top quality restaurant that you could go to in the city.

Quite honestly there’s nothing about this property that I don’t like. I really couldn’t speak highly enough of it.

We have been visiting this hotel for a while now and we absolutely love it. The location and the facilities are great. The indoor pool and jacuzzi is great to just relax on your holiday. The staff is very friendly and the service is on point. The rooms are nice and big and most of them have anaocean view which is amazing. Would definitely keep visiting this place :)

It was a bit disappointing to see the outdoor hot tub closed as it was one of the biggest selling points. Also on our recent visit there was an issue with a damp smell in the room. When we complained they acknowledged it but nobody came to actually address the issue which was a bit disappointing. I understand the hotel was super busy but this a bit if a let down for a guest who has been visiting the place for a while and got friends as well along.

Beautiful hotel with lovely decor and amazing location. Had a ground floor room looking out over ocean...what a view. The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Lovely modern bathroom in wet room style.Staff were always friendly and helpful. Had food in the bar which was tasty if a little expensive. Loads of lovely areas to sit and enjoy glass of wine in comfy large sofas with views out to the sea. I would definitely return.

Food choices on bar menu were limited. Would have liked maybe a pasta dish or chicken option also. Breakfast is self-service with lots of choices. Hot food on 1st morning was just luke warm, which was a shame. Leisure centre and pool area ok nothing special. Had a back massage, which was good, but the therapist wore latex gloves, which I hate.

Myself and my wife were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we had one of the nicest rooms we ever stayed in, stayed in a junior suite and the room s view was just amazing looking out to sea, room was huge, we had dinner in the restaurant could not fault the food, pints of Guinness wore great aswell which was a bonus, used the pool facilities and couldn't fault them, hotel was spotless and will definitely be back . Matthew in the bar looked after us so good so tops to him.

The only thing that was a negative was the wife had a treatment booked in the spa, for some reason it was cancelled and they tought they had rang everybody but we wore just missed which to be honest wasn't a big deal.

Really nice gluten free bread for breakfast. Friendly staff. Lovely view. Lunch was delicious - enormous portion! - I would have liked to have been able to take my lunch into my room or the sitting area but had to have it in the bar. Dinner - good food and wine. Felt comfortable there on my own, good service, friendly atmosphere.

Wifi was a little slow at times. Hotel was good on recycling - separate bin for it in the rooms. However, walking on the beach there was a lot of rubbish - maybe a weekly clean up? I picked up two old buckets and filled them with plastic - left them by the outdoor bin. I can't think of anything else. I had a wonderful stay.

Loved everything. We missed our original booking because I was taken into hospital. We counted our loss but then the hotel phoned to see if everything was ok because we missed our booking. I told them about my hospitalisation and they offered us a booking for two weeks later, same room, Junior suite at no extra charge. The room was spacious and spotless. The bed couldn't be more comfortable, the view was amazing and the shower huge! The free buffet breakfast, a choice of cooked AND continental, was so substantial we joked that we could have rolled back to our room. The staff fell over each other to be of assistance. We arrived at 12:30 thinking we would just leave our bags and go for a walk until 3:00 but they checked us in straight away. When we were asked if we could move tables in the bar to accommodate the musician they offered us a free round for the "inconvenience". Will definitely be returning!

There was NOTHING not to like!
