Typical Irish hospitality, we pull into the large parking area to the owner actively hanging laundry to dry who stopped everything to welcome us, but last name no less (it's a small B&B and we were 4 of the rooms, but it was still a nice touch)! The rooms were ready, clean, and comfortable. The private bathrooms were a huge plus, too! The breakfast was phenomenal, I've had some Irish breakfasts that were less than par, but this one was certainly a true "Irish Breakfast." Overall would stay again and recommend to others!

Marguerite’s B&B was on the Main Street in Glenties and near many restaurants and pubs. it was very easy to find and the check-in was easy and quick. The B&B was very clean and each family had their own bedroom with very comfy beds and a private bathroom. The full Irish breakfast in the morning was made to order along with pastries and cereals. The coffee was great and we left early after a wonderful night’s sleep and full tummies. Our host was lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Our 7-year old grandson also got to interact with her children which he really loved. If we are ever through Glenties in the future we will definitely stay again at Marguerite’s B&B. I highly recommend it as the place to stay in Glenties for a reasonable rate.

We liked absolutely everything about Marguerite’s B&B!

Marguerite was a fantastic host. She was incredibly accommodating. She was super responsive whenever I had a query and was able to answer and handle any request or question I had. I was staying with my groomsmen as I was to be married in the town the next day and it was the perfect location and the whole experience had me relaxed and prepared. The house and facilities had everything you could want.

Lovely and cosy b&b right on the main street in Glenties, perfect location for exploring the area and close to restaurants to get a nice bite to eat. Very comfortable and clean room. And delicious cooked breakfast plus cereal and fruit in morning. Overall very happy with my stay!

The shower would benefit from an upgrade as the water flow was very poor.

Marguerite is a beautiful person and it was a pleasure staying in her home for 5 nights. Glenties a great location to stay at, as very near many spots we wanted to visit, both north and south of the village. So we were midway between them all. All the people we met in Ardara, Narin, Glenveagh, Killybegs, etc were very hospitable, helpful and friendly. We were in lots of info centres, cafes and pubs and met local people on the beautiful blue flag beaches. Co. Donegal is an unspoilt Eden, gets lots of tourists but not touristy as such. I love it.

The host was friendly and the breakfast has been great. There's a private carpark in the back of the house. The beds are comfortable and there is no noise from the street.

The rooms interior is a bit old and it has that motel feel to it. However this comes down to preference. If you're not set on a modern interior, you'll be very much alright.

We had a lovely stay here. Marguerite was very nice and accommodating, especially with our late check in. The Irish breakfast in the morning was delicious and we left well fueled. The rooms were small but clean and had everything we needed. We were able to walk to Thatch Restaurant 10 mins down the road for dinner (just keep in mind food stops at 9). Tips: Just be aware the rooms are on the second floor. My parents are in their 70s. Luckily, they are still able to climb the stairs and bring heavy suitcases up to their room.

We were traveling for a family wedding. The location was perfect for us as we were close to our family. Marguerite makes a fantastic breakfast every morning. There was great variety from fruits, cereals, yogurt, eggs, bacon, sausage, toast and brown bread. The property also offers off street parking which is very nice.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like about this bed and breakfast establishment.
