Food and drink in the bar are excellent and reasonably priced. Staff very helpful, and they also came out with a candle in our dessert for my partners birthday. Room spacious, comfortable, and had all necessities available. Bed comfortable. Parking in private carpark behind the hotel. Chilled water is available from dispensers in the hallways all day. Location just a few minutes from town centre.

Not much to dislike as anything bad was insignificant or else seemed as though there was an alternative available. Air conditioning unit did not seem to function at all, but there was a plug in fan in the room which we used instead. Some general bits of wear and tear to paintwork, skirting and such like that may want to be tended to, did not affect us but might annoy others of a more agitatable disposition.

Having stayed at the hotel before, I already knew what to expect. Kells is a beautiful place & the hotel facilities are great. Myself & my two daughters shared a room with three beds. The beds are so comfortable! There are coffee/tea making facilities in your room. Fresh towels, toiletries are provided. The maid service & fresh towels are offered daily. The breakfast options at Cafe Theresa are plentiful & staff are friendly, attentive & helpful. We were asked if we wanted tea or coffee before ordering & the waiting staff gave you time to choose your breakfast whilst they got your drinks. We ate at the hotel during the evening once during our three night stay & we all enjoyed our meals. It is in a great location & access to Dublin airport via bus is almost outside the hotel. We had yet another lovely stay at the Headfort Arms & hopefully will be back very soon.

Having stayed here before, but in different rooms, some of the rooms appear to be better maintained than others. Our room was on the top floor in the roof ( No 27) & though exceptionally clean, tidy, it did lack a bit of TLC. Silly things like electric bulbs being missing, paint peeling in the bathroom & cracked floor tiles. I love this hotel & will return, it just made me sad to see this during our stay as our other rooms had been perfect. Also, if you have mobility/breathing problems, please request a first floor room, as the lift only takes you to the first floor.

As we wore spending our anniversary of 12 year's, we did get an upgraded room thanks to the lovely reception staff, our room was lovely. The staff wore lovely and helpful. We ate in the vanilla pod restaurant and food & drinks wore very nice!

Pillows in the room wore sadly awful myself and my partner unfortunately didnt have a good nights sleep at all. Room was a little cold even with rad on & windows in the room did let in alot of outside noise in and possibly heat out. we wore right next to the cleaners room also so we wore woken up by them pretty early.

Exceptional hotel(we booked it very last minute for an excellent price) It exceeded all expectations from welcome to checkout. Room was amazing, lovely big bathroom and bath Bed was very comfortable. Had dinner in the bar/lounge food was great value and excellent. The breakfast was served in the vanilla pod what can I say it was amazing lovely buffet fresh fruit was gorgeous and choice of cooked options great choice on menu. Would definitely recommend and would return

Beautiful old hotel. Our room was beautiful however up two flights of stairs was hard on me being mobility compromised. But that was my fault for not asking for a room near the elevator. Great location. Restaurant was great.

All the stairs I had to climb but my bad. The staff was slow for our breakfast both days but especially our first. We had to wait 15 minutes to get someone’s attention and had to get our own menus. Others were served that came in after us. Also not the most friendly servers. Not many smiles but maybe they we’re just tired from the long weekend rush.

It places you in an environment reminiscent of old times in a charming way. :) The room was nice, the bad was comfortable, and I appreciated the cleanliness. Facilities in the room were great, the toiletries from The Handmade Soap Company were a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a fan, which was great for cooling down. Breakfast was good, some gluten free options including sweet treats like muffins which was nice. The Keltic bar next door had really tasty food and the locally made Kells Gin is definitely worth a try! Staff are really friendly and very helpful.

The front rooms are quite noisy from outside traffic and the windows are old, so don't muffle any sound. Fortunately, Caroline from the front desk was able to sort us out with another room at the back of the hotel, which was not only quieter but an upgrade.

The location was good. I liked the private parking Staff were very friendly The room was nice. I liked the garden & the seats at the front of the hotel. The breakfast was nice.

It was very very expensive for mid-week. Irish hotel prices are crazy now anyway & lost me during Covid when hotels went crazy looking for lost business but this was way above & beyond at over 200 euro. The escalator gave 2 big jumps every time it ascended. Quite jolting & even frightening. The safe didn't work. I followed the instructions many times & just couldn't be bothered mentioning to reception. Not good enough for 200 euro. The shower was in the bath - not good enough for 200 euro

Really enjoyed our family stay at the Headfort Arms Hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful and always had time for a chat. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food, including Headfort pancakes which were delicious and the breakfast staff were wonderful. The evening menu had something for everyone and priced very reasonably. We loved our stay and will book again as the hotel is ideally situated to all attractions.

Firstly, the staff are all very helpful and friendly which made our stay very enjoyable. Everyone working at the hotel was happy in their jobs and this was reflected in their attitude towards the guests and their duties. Apart from this huge plus, the facilities were spot on, being efficient, clean and generally a pleasure. We didn’t want to leave and we will definitely be back when we visit Ireland again. Well done all of you !
