The hotel was well located and the staff were lovely. We loved looking over the church opposite. The room was comfortable and the hotel had that old world charm which we loved.. The free parking was very welcome as the whole town seems to have parking tolls.
Unfortunately the room was very hot but we couldn't open the windows at night due to the noise outside. If we were younger we may have joined them in the nightclub but because we were old fuddyduddies we just noticed the noise! We are from Australia so it was weird to be overheated in Ireland. Maybe a fan would have helped but it didn't worry us enough to request one!

The location of the hotel is great. The staff there were lovely. The bed was so comfortable. We slept like logs! The pillows were fab. There was a good choice of items you could enjoy for breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.
Unfortunately there was no hot water at all for showers the night we were there or the following morning. We heard from a few people that they had the same issue. Trying to manoeuvre the car into a space in the hotel's carpark was quite a challenge. Get there well in advance of your night out at the hotel or else you'll be driving around looking for parking elsewhere.

Lovely hotel, late check out available, breakfast delivered to your room
We stayed twice over the Christmas, we got a late check out at one.,but there's a cleaner who just comes into the room and asks are you checking out. She just opened the door and said are you checking out, she did it to the room beside us as well, because I heard the chap saying we've a late check out at one..I don't think she should be taking it on herself to be going into rooms and opening doors...but it's a super hotel to stay in apart from that

This was my first time in Navan and only stayed one night at the hotel, so my review is from the perspective of someone who did not know anything about this town and hotel at all beforehand. For what I perceived or understood about the town based on one evening spent there, I liked the location of the hotel (centric, but safe and quiet), the quiet room (but I had not spent there more than an hour), the open restaurant and bar inside the hotel in the evening, and a tobacco vending machine. The food I ordered was one of the daily offers (turkey with gravy, mash and veg), and it was just what I expected in Ireland. It was nice and a great portion. There were not many guests around, but in any case, everyone from the staff was kind, relaxed, and professional. I really liked the breakfast bag they prepared for me to take away as I had to leave very early (around 2:30-3:00 am). It was simple but it had everything I needed to kick off my day. I had no problem for coming back to the hotel late night (1:30 am or so), as the receptionist reacted fast and let me in...
I have to admit, I did not have time to sleep in the bed, but it seemed fine. I used the bathroom, which was completely fine, too. That being sad, carpets, textiles and furniture are pretty old. I can only imagine how much it would cost to refurbish and update everything... The room wasn't aesthetically pleasing, and worn down things often look dirty or dirtier than they are... Apart from aesthetics, which is not something you want to think of in the room, I could not fault anything else. :)

We attended a wedding here the 28th of August. We had a brilliant day. The venue is lovely and the staff could nt do enough for you.Our room was lovely , nice and modern..I would have no problem recommending this hotel.
The car park wad a nightmare. We arrived at 1pm , wedding was at 2pm and the car park was full. We drove around it twice. The spaces and exits and entrances are sooo tight...We ended up going to Fairgreen public car park and the later on we chanced driving back into hotel car park and were lucky enough to get a space..

The staff at the hotel were brilliant. We had broken down and arrived at the hotel late and they couldn’t have helped more or been kinder. They let us stay in the room for longer and held our bags for us when sorting out the car being fixed too. They also checked how we were getting on when they saw us too which was very much appreciated as it was rather stressful. The food was really nice too and the reception area was nice to sit in to have a drink.
The room was a little dated but perfect for what we needed.

The hotel is located in the City Center of Navan, so all pubs and small stores are at the footstep. The staff is very friendly and charming. breakfast is very rich and well done! the lobby invites to stay and read a book...
The water regulation of the shower for warm/cold did not always work, or the hot water tank/boiler was emptying quickly... so suddenly there was a fresh surprise coming out of the pipes...

The staff was friendly and responsive. They defined the idea of hospitality. The hotel is centrally located with a couple of bars and restaurants inside. There are also several restaurants nearby. I will stay there again for the staff alone.
The building needs a bit of modernisation, but it looks like it is getting a facelift now. Our toilet seat was broken and it took a little bit to repair, but it was. Nothing big.

The hotel is bang on the middle of Navan so very handy for walking around. Excellent bar and lovely food. Parking in the centre of town is also convenient. I would stay here again. I loved that the rooms had smart TVs. Beds were very comfortable and clean.
Personally I thought the hotel was over priced and a small bit dated. The car park is also very tight to drive around. But this would not stop me staying again.

From the Lovely warm welcome we had a great time here. Staff are all exceptionally kind and there was a great feel and vibe to the hotel. Would definitely go back. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and the free breakfast was so good too. The waitress that morning was so nice and you can tell the staff enjoy their work.
Nothing was bad the bedrooms are a little dated but comfortable. For the value it is brilliant!
