The fact we went there was my husband was meeting his birth mother for his first time as he was adopted there was a wedding on the afters it was quiet busy and wewere walking around to find somewhere quiet we then ask the manager on duty and he asked us was the little sun room atvthe front okay for us it was just perfect and he was so helpful the reception staff excellent the bar staff restaurant staff excellent they cud nt have been more attentive and there manner A1 the hotel itself was just amazing the food the rooms and the view top class its kept so well we travelled from athlone and we will 110% be back to this hotel my daughter loved it also shes only 12 and sje absolutelly loved it i highly reccomend this hotel thanks crover house hotel janice fergal& amelia room 128 xx and it was always be in our hearts precious memories as my hisband met with his mum first time in 47years xx

How friendly the staff were. Regan on reception and the other receptionist, were a joy to check in with. The concierge was such a gentleman. Fantastic service

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The level of hospitality and attentiveness displayed by the staff was truly commendable, making us feel welcome and valued throughout our stay. Our experience at Crover House Hotel was made by the excellent staff who consistently went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic stay. Their professionalism, friendliness, and dedication to customer service set a high standard for hospitality, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a delightful getaway in Cavan.

From my dealings with Tracy and our requests before we arrived (All Met and were Perfect - Thank You Tracy your a star), to the warm and welcoming greating from the Elderly Concierge Gentleman who was an absolute Gent both he and all the staff in the Bistro where the food and atmosphere were exceptional, the bar staff Aaron and Lauren were very attentive and remembered my request for 3 wedges of lime in my Gin and Tonic and made my wife Marian a Superb Irish Coffee. The Deluxe Room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the Happy Birthday Plate with Cake and Fruit a Lovely Touch. The view out of the lake was beautiful and the bed was large and very comfortable and gave such a peaceful nights sleep, the bathroom had luxury toiletries and the shower was powerful and hot, everything about the room was A1. After a goods night rest we headed to the restaurant for the Irish Breakfast which was buffet style and was exceptional, probably the best Full Irish I have had in ALL my travels worldwide, this coupled with the attentive staff once again made this a stay that lived up to Cead Mille Failte (A thousand Welcomes) Crover House Keep doing what you are doing it works!!! Marian and I will be Back, A Great Hotel, Great Ambience, Great Atmosphere with a staff 2nd to None.

Exceptional gardens overlooking Lake and mountains. Immaculately maintained flower beds . A most beautiful array of colours of so many different varieties of flowers and trees. So peaceful and tranquil. Most friendly and helpful staff. Lots of areas go sit and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Had a lovely chat with Liam GM...who made us feel so welcome. Such a lovely atmosphere and ambiance within hotel Highly recommended.

Couldn't find any fault with Hotel, but be mindful that the hotel is located out in the country side so transport is needed. Wouldn't recommend walking on the busy country roads.

Beautiful grounds, lovely patio outside the bar/restaurant, very friendly staff. Food was decent but not spectacular. Hotel was very reasonably priced.

There’s only one restaurant which is used for breakfast, dinner and as the main bar of the hotel. There’s a lovely bar at the lobby which was unstaffed from about 4pm, meaning everyone had to use the restaurant as the bar, so it was very crowded and noisy. Standard rooms have very small bathrooms

Crover House was a new destination for us and left us enthralled in the excellence of the experience. Such wonderful, warm, welcoming, well trained staff for whom nothing was too much. The food we enjoyed was of the highest quality. Room was so comfortable (actually too warm but could control the heat, and too warm is not a bad complaint on a winter's day!!). The grounds are lovely - great for a pre or post dinner walk.

Crover House has, in my view, no negatives. Hotel, surroundings, food and service all to the highest standard. A real gem.

Breakfast was lovely had it served to us one morning next it was self service preferred it served to us. We had a fabulous room looking out on the lake very comfortable bed and very clean room. Staff at front desk were very friendly and pleasant & helpful.

Happy with all now it’s not near to shops but we knew that great hotel for just relaxing and food in hotel very nice. Might be a good idea to install an Ev charger.

Front of house we were met by Liam an absolute gentleman, straight away he was very welcoming and pointed us in the right direction. We thought Liam may have been the owner and his witt and gratitude which is a very very rare find. Certainly no other hotel has a Liam and this made out stay even more personal and wanting to return. Food was absolutely amazing starters main and dessert. Wine was fantastic too!! The gardens even in the rain they were stunning the 1.4km woodlands walk was great and a fantastic touch with the fairy garden and forget me not.

The pros outweighed the cons!! If you stay but need smaller food portions it's advised from experience to use the dietary requirements. I'm a very picky eatter and with huge intolerance. I asked of I could have just a chicken and veg from children menu and would pay adult price but it wasn't allowed. Ended up having chicken burger and chips unfortunately I could only manage one of the two chicken fillets. The same waitress and me a few times was everything okay after I explained that I'd only be able to eat small amount/portions. The room was absolutely massive and the lay out of the bed and other furniture seemed to be lost. But as a said the pros outweighed the cons

The location by the lake was breathtaking. The gardens were well tended with a good array of plants. We enjoyed the view from the dining room and the newly decorated interior. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the friendly, efficient staff added to a pleasant experience overall.

The bathroom was quite small and the older wardrobe and tables didn't sit well with the rest of the bedroom which has obviously had a revamp.
