Absolutely everything. It was spotless. The room was huge. The shower room was huge with a good large shower head. The hosts, Kevin and Doris, were super friendly, helpful, couldn’t do enough, the epitome of Irish hospitality! We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Loved the large communal lounge which had tea, coffee, etc and biscuits, 24/7! There were leaflets about the area, books to read including children’s books. My husband assured me the breakfast was amazing as unfortunately I had a cold coming on and a migraine so spent most of my time in our room (room 2) sleeping and feeling sorry for myself lol. The bed was super comfy and the room was a perfect temperature! Kevin was a font of knowledge re where to get specialist motor oil for our classic car which hubby forgot to bring!! Both him and Doris were so nice and chatty, and made us feel right at home. If you want somewhere near shops and nightlife this isn’t for you. However if you want spectacular service, an amazing nights sleep in beautiful surroundings then do not hesitate but book in. YOU WILL definitely want to come back, I know we do!

Nothing, it was perfect!

So serene and quiet. The facilities were pristinely clean. Johnny was so accommodating and made us a superb Irish breakfast. Our kids have nut allergies and Doris who also runs the B and B checked with us ahead or time to help to ensure safe foods for our kids. Location is not far from Athlone. Beds quite comfortable. It was a great stopping point between Dublin and Galway.

The breakfast was perfect, the location idyllic, I slept great , which is what I wanted. The house is unique and modern , as warm and homely as you could want , hosts were exceptionally friendly and obliging, welcoming from the second I arrived to when I left.

There was not a single thing to not like, exceptional, ideal retreat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very hospitable, and great with our young kids. The breakfast was superb, the best we had in Ireland. The property was easy to locate and access. The shower pressure was great, took a while to heat up so one cold shower but the second persons was fine.

The room was very hot, turned the heating right down but too warm to be under covers. We only stayed one night so we didn't mind for the night.

Lovely stay in a very good Bed and Breakfast. Very kind host who looked after us in a warm and very considerate way. Irish hospitality at its warmest and most unpretentious best. Excellent value for money. Really great breakfast. Family of 6 - all very happy. (Host Doris even gave my son a little gift because he'd just made his first Communion! He was chuffed! You wouldnt get kindness like that in a 5* hotel!)

Maybe let guests know where they can get water during the night. But we were grand!

Doris and Kevin were the perfect hosts, beautiful home and the breakfast was fabulous, great nights sleep. Rooms bigger than you would expect and to be woken by birdsong was an added extra. The local pubs were about a mile or so down the road with a harbour if you fancy a walk.Athlone town only 10 minutes away if you fancy a more lively night out taxis available. All in all a great find and most definitely would recommend and hope to revisit in the near future.

Oh man, where to start. The hosts, Doris and Kevin were so nice and hospitable. We had a late arrival that was accommodated without question. The girls loved talking with the couple that runs the B&B as well. The room and house were overall lovely with a picturesque view of the loch from the 4 seasons room where we had breakfast. Kevin cooked a delicious breakfast, including the best sausage we had while staying in Ireland/Scotland. We were greeted by Princess upon our loading for departure, which was a pleasant surprise that thrilled the girls because they missed their puppy at home. Overall a wonderful experience and I couldn't recommend this B&B more.

It's a bit in the middle of nowhere but I knew that on booking it. It happened to be in route to where we were going. If you can stop It's a bit of a hidden gem though.

I liked the communication with the hosts. Very good. The rooms were cute and the setup of the BNB was good. Breakfast was decent. Love the yellows throughout the building, quite memorable.

Not much. I expected the quaint outside of the building to translate to a quaint inside. Instead it was quite modern. Not a drawback but my expectations were different. Wish they had instant decaff coffee at their tea station.

Breakfast was GREAT! Room was spacious and comfortable. Setting was idealistic! If you want the Irish countryside experience this is your kind of place. Beautiful hikes, quiet woodlands, Lough Ree and Judys Park within walking distance.! But above all else our hosts were OUTSTANDING. Went above & beyond to make our stay the most memorable of all our stays in Ireland. Thank you Doris & Kevin, we'll be back!!
