Wonderfully, spacious, comfortable bedroom with stupendous view of stately, Victorian Garden. Gracious proportions in this fine period mansion and warmth of furnishings and atmosphere. Probably the finest large hotel and location in the Dublin area.
The Orangery still too bitty and gastro type meals, with disappointing Coffee, sharp and acrid. Also my purchased almonds were soggy and odd tasting into the lower layer. When their main restaurant is closed please provide a back up so one does not have to venture away from the hotel for decent food.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. All of the staff were so helpful especially in the Talavera restaurant. The food was excellent and there was no problem catering for one of the group with dietary requirements
Not a complaint but just an observation. The pillows in the bedroom were extremely soft. For someone with back or neck problems it can be a little difficult.

Breakfast- the variety was great and the staff fantastic All staff at hotel were very friendly and helpful Comfort Old world charm Location suited my needs Easy
House-Keeping was sporadic. Some days it was done really well others not or very late. Turn down only undertaken if requested. Very littlle milk and coffees in the room Mini bar was not working and despite being empty was not chilled so could not keep own drinks cool. Not the hotel’s fault but could put a sign asking guests to park properly in the forecourt. Many cars overlapping on two spaces which was inconsiderate of guests.

Stayed night before daughters graduation. I have stayed a number of times before. Had 3 rooms. Two on same floor both very comfortable. Sadly third room on ground floor was very dark and felt like it needed a freshen up...not dirty...but felt like it needed the windows left open for a few hours. Apart from this our stay was excellent. Dined on light bites in the bar and had some nice cocktails....very enjoyable. Had excellent breakfast next morning....and at reduced rate it was phenomenally good value. The sun shone and the grounds were lovely as always. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Room on ground floor...bit musty😢

Beautiful old building (probably a historic one) with a huge park in front of it and an amazing garden behind. Very clean, nice room and friendly staff. Wifi and TV worked also well.
The room was a bit cold for us and while trying to turn on the heating we noticed that the sensor was fixed above the radiator, meaning that as soon as a bit of warmth reached the sensor, the heating stopped. So the room was basically cold for almost all the time. Luckily the blankets kept us warm. :) Some guests were loud during the night, but this is not the fault of the hotel.

The room was very clean and comfortable with all the facilities we required. The breakfast was very tasty with lots of options, my dad particularly enjoyed his porridge and berries. Fresh hot coffee to order was great. The staff especially the young Indian man on reception who was working the evening shifts was absolutely fantastic as were all other staff we came across. Plenty of taxis when needed to drive us into the city. The interior and exterior of the hotel was stunning as were the front and back gardens.
When booking this hotel it said it was 1.3 miles from the centre which is why I booked it. In actual fact it is more like 5-6 miles so not walkable with my elderly father. Apart from that the hotel was excellent and good value for money.

This is my third time using this hotel. The staff are very friendly but some have accents that I just could not understand. The site and building are beautiful! The room was comfortable and the shower strong and hot. Towels were excellent! I liked there was room service, but it was confusing to use. It is nice the bus stop is very close.
I had asked for a refrigerator but was told there weren’t any. However, there was a mini bar fridge in the room but we couldn’t figure out where the plug in was. The thermostat as broken, but it was fixed the second day.

The place is lovely. We have had fun in the garden. Our 1-year-old wife and I had fun playing in the garden. We had lunch in the glass room. The food was okay, nothing special. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Bed is comfy. The room is massive.
The only thing we did not like was the breakfast. It was lacking. I was expecting more. The omelet felt like it was cooked in an old oil. It was brown. My wife couldn't finish her eggs. It was too oily and had so much oil. They replaced it with sunny side up and those were fine. There was only toast and no other types of bread. Yeah, and the shower head was broken. The room was overlooking the parking. You really need to close the curtains to change your clothes.

I thoroughly enjoyed every moment spent at this enchanting hotel. We fell in love with it the instant the shuttle bus dropped us off. Upon opening the hotel gate, it felt like stepping into a fairy tale with impeccable Christmas decorations and fireplace lights. The receptionists were exceptionally kind, providing us with all necessary information and saving the day by lending adapters and umbrellas. We were fortunate to have a living room and a cozy bedroom with a balcony, making it feel like a home away from home. The interior decoration added to the homely ambiance. The English breakfast was delightful too! I certainly plan to revisit this elegant establishment in the future!
If I had to nitpick, we were initially provided with only one toothbrush and shower products for the two of us. However, the staff promptly sent us the missing toothbrush upon our request. Moreover, despite the hotel not being situated in the downtown area, it is undeniably safe and convenient. Various buses offer direct routes to the city center, and there's also a shuttle bus service to the airport—just ensure you have enough coins!
