The breakfast choices were varied, delicious, and plentiful. Owners were very conscious about my gluten allergy and happy to accommodate with options. The staff was very pleasant and helpful whenever needed with suggestions, taxis, and map directions. It was also extremely thoughtful, and very much appreciated, to have an elevator. A bonus, even though we were on the 1st floor. It made getting the bags up and down a breeze! Really appreciated that.

Murphy's Hotel is located right where we needed for a wedding nearby, with very pleasant and helpful staff. The cooked breakfast was very generous and filling and the buffet offer as pretty decent for such a small hotel.

Rooms are a bit dated, but its a small country hotel so wouldn't expect the latest fashionable interiors! ensuites are a good size and plenty of hot water etc. Rooms are naturally ventilated through the windows se we did need to use the fan to move air around on a calm and balmy night.

Murphy’s is a lovely place staff are excellent , Stacey in particular is excellent at what she does always a smile and nothing is too much trouble

We were in room 8 and the smell of cigarette smoke nearly knocked us sideways, previous guests covered the smoke alarm with a plastic bag and smoked out the window judging the amount of cigarette butts outside it . We left the window open hoping the smell would be gone on our return but despite being out 8hours the smell of smoke still lingered , I didn’t bring it to the attention of staff at this point as it was after 1.30am but I did flag it with staff the following morning .

Murphy’s Hotel is located in a quaint setting in the small town centre of Tinahely. The hotel provides a cosy ambience for tourists and the owners and staff are extremely warm and hospitable. One must try out the quintessential Irish meals served here. One of the main attractions of this hotel is the ‘Irish Night’ - a night dedicated to Irish music and culture which happens every Tuesday.

Food was fab .staff were great. Room was superb. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Only thing nothing in the town had to drive to get to places. Staff were to young not experienced enough. One girl was left to do everything was so busy for her,so everyone was waiting a time for food r drinks.

Gorgeous, quaint property in a beautiful small town. Very clean, very comfortable. The food served was exceptional. The dinner and breakfast was delicious, great value. The staff were friendly and polite and even though it was a bit busy at dinner and breakfast the staff were very attentive and helpful.

I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like. Everything was fantastic.

If you are looking for an amazing place to stay in County Wicklow, Ireland. I highly recommend staying at Murphy’s Hotel. I was so happy to find this amazing Hotel. Upon arriving I was immediately greeted by Karen. She made me feel so very Welcome. She explained everything about the hotel and the town. Chelsie also helped me get checked in also. Chelsie made me feel very Welcome also. My room was so very clean, great bathroom, great bed , television , desk and was just perfect. The next morning I had an amazing full Irish Breakfast. Great Coffee and Toast also. The chef Steve is an amazing chef and so professional. He made sure I was well taken care of. He genuinely cares about the guests. The dinning room is very cozy and very well set up. Murphy’s Hotel is located in the village of Tinahely , County Wickow. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, lived in the United States for over thirty years and served all over the world with the United States Marines all over the world. I definitely know an amazing Hotel from all my Travels and Life Experiences. I loved my stay so much. I booked one more night at Murphy’s Hotel. I personally think this speaks volumes about this establishment! I definitely will return in the near future. Definitely a must visit in County Wicklow, Ireland. Really friendly staff. Gorgeous breakfast, one of the tastiest I've experienced. Locally sourced ingredients, the chef even gave me some black and white pudding to take home after I'd commented on how delicious it was.

Everyone at the hotel was very friendly, the room was comfortable, spacious and quiet. The music night on Tues was an unexpected bonus. The room was very quiet, so the music downstairs caused no disturbance. It is well located for some beautiful walks, our main reason for visiting the area.

Along with many hotels, there was only one chair in the room yet there was space for a second one, which would have been useful.

WiFi did not work and though we had booked 3 rooms together, 2 of them were in apartments which were opposite the actual hotel.Would have been helpful to know beforehand as it was a group of 10 including elderly parents.
