The room was large and very comfortable with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was very good indeed. Great location

Being asked to fill out my credit card details on the check in form including the security code. The receptionist said it would be shredded the following day. This policy needs to be ended. Not secure. It would influence my decision to return. The receptionist advised another guest who questioned this policy that this is the norm in Ireland. No it isn't. I have never been asked to do this before in a hotel.

Location, staff, room and breakfast were all good. No parking but the church next door offered low cost parking and you could park .25 KM down the street for free.

The restaurant at the hotel did not have food that appealed to us but if you like burgers, fish and chips and fried food, you might love it. Lots of other restaurants around to choose from.

I booked a single occupancy room and got assigned a lovely large room which was really appreciated. Room was at the back of the hotel, nice and quiet. Great bathroom and shower with lovely toiletries. Good bar food and breakfast. Very comfortable stay overall. I was staying over for work so it was a nice quiet stay which i needed.

Room was very hot but I was able to disable the window restrictor to get some fresh air. Noisy seagulls from 4am but thats no fault of the hotel!!

breakfast was excellent but should start a bit earlier say 7am instead of 7.30am / the small expresso machines in every room is a total bonus, where i stay in other hotels./ easy to use and very useful/ also DO NOT place teabag /coffee sachets and uht milk in the mugs. That looks so gross and unhygienic. i have never seen in 40 years this type of layout, it nearly put me off of making a cuppa tea. so had to rewash the mugs. and spill all the contents and then what? all the contents looked so untidy on the table .A small glued tray tray would look so much pleasing to the eye and also all items neat on a tray. do try that in a few of the rooms.

i have pointed out the tea and coffee issues as above, therefore do follow up on my recommendations.

Centrally located with parking right beside the hotel within the church car park. Warm, welcoming staff both in reception and the bar & restaurant. Bar staff friendly and chatty with a good sense of humour. Big shout out to Ethan on reception, polite, friendly and patient. We can get a bit stressed when arriving to a hotel for the first time, especially after a long drive, Ethan brought a real sense of calm to the whole checkin process.

Some additional or brighter lighting in the rooms would help, but that’s just a minor issue.

Friendly welcome, all the staff were very nice. Room was comfortable and warm. Very comfortable bed. Good location, nice breakfast. Would stay again for the price if room and bathroom were cleaner.

Limited TV channels, couldn't get any signal on bbc1 or bbc2. Cleanliness of room needed more attention, especially in bathroom, a lot of dust on toilet roll holder, dado rails in room, top of wardrobe. Hasn't been thoroughly cleaned in mont hs to allow this amount of dust to build up. Room looking dated and worn. Panel under bathroom falling off.

The staff were very nice polite and helpful. It was the first time in a hotel that everything on the menu for dinner had a gluten-free alternative. Well done on that.👌 Looks like a lot of renovation had been recently finished. There was nice old-world feel to the place. The barman Peter is a real asset to Benners. Very good breakfast as well with gluten-free options again. Would definitely stay there again. Perfect location centre of Tralee and all attractions easily accessible from there.

No parking on site is a bit of a let down, still it was built before cars were invented, I'd say.

Beautifully decorated public rooms all ready for Christmas, best decorations I’ve ever seen. All staff were friendly, considerate and professional. My particular thanks goes to Elaine in reception who furnished me with a hot honey drink as she noticed me struggling with a nasty cold, a customer service expert.

The tea tray in the room could be a little more generous; only 2 tea bags & 2 coffee sachets. There was no problem acquiring more, but I don’t always like to ask. A packet or two of biscuits would have been lovely.

Super staff, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. lovely breakfast with great choices. Bar food was lovely. Room was good, nice and big and shower was great.

Noise of other guests, I requested to be in a room in a quiet area of the hotel but was at the front and by the lift so constant noise of kids running up and down and loud music blaring, doors slamming throughout the night and early morning. Staff apologised and tried to resolve noise of other guests staying and assured us this wasn't a usual situation, which I believed.

Nice and cozy, friendly staff. The room was really nice. Great food

No breakfast included, what I found strange for a hotel. I paid 100 euros per night for a single bedroom, and to not have breakfast included was a bit too much. The faucet in the bathroom was dripping. There was instant coffee and tea in the room, but the water boiler was very dirty, full with limescale.
