Room was clean, club room facilities were clean and service was excellent

Late checkout charged at $20 per hour for only 2 hours ($40) was a bit rich for my liking especially when you are a member & NO COMPLIMENTARY WATER IN YOUR ROOM OR THE CLUB ROOM, only tap water available, only hotel I’ve been to that doesn’t supply at least one bottle in your room, POOR

Breakfast Buffet was excellent . Room was spacious and clean . Location was okay if you want to be near Darling Harbour . Staff were accommodating but very inexperienced .

It is a joke that we are immediately charged a holding deposit of $200 ,then have to wait 5 to 7 days for the credit to come back to the savings account . Stayed at the Grace Hotel previous week and they immediately processed the credit to my savings account . Also we were not allocated the room as advertised . Manager Ben was helpful and found the right room for the last 3 days of a 4 night stay but unfortunately had to stay in the wrong room for the first night . We were provided with free breakfast as compensation . Room was not cleaned on the third day . In summary it was the NQR stay .

Ordered room service to the room dinner after the Anzac Day Match as had stayed there to attend the Anzac Match NRL first time ever. Good walking distance close by for light rail to the game & back Breakfast next morning buffet nice Nice cosy room Wish had upgraded from email to have more view if the city otherside harbour Bridge or Parking harbour side What loved about it only hotel from all hotels i emailed could check in at 2pm but checked in earlier than that to get ready ti be at the game ready for 3.30pm ceremony Alliance Stadium Got for a great price few months ahead and had VIP parking to leave car there Good walking distance to the Australian Museum to go to the Ramses as had pre purchased tickets

The pillows to sleep were not good at all. Huge both of us didn't sleep well at all, both woke up with sore necks Normally I take my own but cause never been there before had trust in hotel

The good: Proximity is perfect. Right in the middle of everything. Short walk to the train station, George street for shopping and Darling harbour precinct. Staff were good. Parking on site was easy. Water jug and filling stations on each floor was genius.

The room service menu was average and the after hours options need work. People want decadent dessert options late at night and a vegan chocolatey option would have been appreciated for my friend. An empty mini bar was disappointing. Toilets are not soft close as I discovered at 3am in the morning!! So weird. And room really needed another console table for putting personal Items. Also No room for hanging as small closet was full with a safe.

Service was great from everyone. Hotel room was lovely and clean. Great spacious size room. Absolutely perfect location and a very short walk to both train and tram. Just out of the hub hub enough to lose the busy Sydney noise and crowds. Would stay again most definately.

Only call out was a king size bed (awesome) that was like a jumping castle everytime either my husband or I rolled over. Not a great night's sleep both nights. Also the toilet lid is not soft close and I think I woke the whole hotel at 2am when I went to pull it down a bit and it just slammed. My husband woke and thought I had fallen over.

The reception and food & beverage teams were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. I also noticed how cheerful the housekeeping staff was,their smiles really brightened my day! A special shoutout to the porter who helped me fix my jacket pocket, I'm so sorry I can’t remember his name! He went above and beyond, and I truly appreciated his kindness. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks to him and the entire team! I look forward to my next stay!

For the price paid, I expected at least the basic essentials to be readily available, especially for female guests. It was quite frustrating to find that there were no conditioner provided in the bathroom. During process of my shower, I was l soaked and had to jump out of the shower and call reception to request these items, which took longer than anticipated. It’s disappointing when such basic amenities aren't readily accessible, especially at this price point. I hope they consider enhancing their guest experience by providing these essentials in the future. (perhaps removed some amenities that doesn't needed in the bathroom to compensated Hair conditioner)

The check-in process at The Park Royal Hotel was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were welcoming and provided helpful information about the hotel facilities and club lounge access. Check-out was equally seamless. I upgraded to a club twin room to experience the club lounge amenities. However, I was disappointed to find that the club room only had a shower, which differed from the expectations set by the photos on the website. On a positive note, the on-site restaurant offered a diverse menu, and the breakfast buffet was particularly impressive. Despite the minor issues with the room, my stay was enjoyable and comfortable, thanks to the excellent service and beautiful setting. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting Sydney or staying in the city area and would consider staying here again in the future.

Location was great-easy to get to and it was close to what we needed. The room was comfortable and it was acceptable for the price. The valet staff were very friendly and thoughtful. They made the experience a lot better.

Staff at check-in could be friendlier, it felt like I was bothering them. It was annoying that when we got there at 2.25pm (checkin is at 2pm) the lady said our room wasn’t ready. She then spoke to a colleague and said it was. In those few minutes I was confused about it not being ready. But, relieved to hear they gave us another room that was free.

Hotel was so close to the Harbour, and nearby great cafes! We enjoyed comfortable beds, TV, a huge bathroom and tea/coffee amenities.

Disappointing that a hotel this expensive did not provide hair conditioner in the room; instead it was one of the things on the "Request From Reception" cards in the bathroom. But that's a bit too late when you're already in the shower and have shampooed your hair, only to realise the two bottles in there are not shampoo and conditioner like other hotels. The water pressure of the shower was also atrocious.

We had a fantastic stay at the ParkRoyal. From the moment we checked in the staff were amazing. We had an issue with the shower in our room but the staff were incredible and sorted it straight away and were so lovely about it, we are so grateful for that. Our room was lovely and had a great view of the Saturday night fireworks at Darling Harbour. Breakfast was great with a good range of foods and wonderful coffee to start the day. Very convenient stay, easy to walk to darling harbour and close to Town Hall for public transport.
