Hotel is very nice, we received a small complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates due to our honeymoon and they delivered when it came to requesting a room with a city view so it was a very surprise. It was a pleasant stay in a lovely city, breakfast was nice but is very expensive and could easily end up adding a good wedge on to your stay. Rooms look recently refurbished and they were very modern and well represented. The bar is very nice and cosy and the bar staff very accommodating. Location wise its absolutely perfect. Right outside Vienna Central, you are 15 mins and 1 stop away by train to the Airport and 3 metro stations away from Stephansplatz which is the main City centre. Overall very happy stay

We had chocolates stolen out our room that we had purchased as a gift for our daughter, presumably this was taken by the house keepers. We reported this to the main desk but unfortunately nobody got back in touch before we left. Although not expensive it’s obviously the principal. It didn’t dampen our spirit however it did prompt us to put a “do not disturb” sign on our door for the final 2 days of our stay.

Location, location, location! It sits right across Wien Hbf making it very convenient either to travel to/from other cities by train or to take local transportation to downtown. The bed and the pillow were just perfect, more on a harden side that I like so I had a good 4 nights sleep here.

4 Stars hotel should mean it comes with basic amenities in the bathroom, in which it lacks of. No drinking water in room, you gotta take the bottles provided by the hotel [often without a cap] or bring your own to refill the water from the lobby. Staff's friendliness is random, some are some are not and making faces.

Next to Vienna Central (Wien hbf) making it convenient for airport access on the OBB. If you like peace when you close your hotel room door, despite the hotel being very busy, there was very little to no noise from the other rooms/hallways. If you don't mind walking a little, not difficult to reach the heart of Vienna.. Decent sized fridge if you want to store items from the many shops and supermarkets nearby.

A separate kettle would be good., Weird using the coffee machine to boil water for tea that ends up tasting a bit of coffee.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, cozy, and impeccably clean. However, as previously mentioned in other reviews, the bathroom lacks a proper door. Depending on who you’re traveling with, this might be an issue, but it’s manageable. The breakfast is standard, and while the dining area gets very busy, the employees are incredibly efficient at clearing tables and maintaining order. Thanks to their quick work, the crowd doesn’t impact your experience much. The hotel is situated in a very convenient and modern urban area, with plenty of amenities nearby and excellent access to public transportation. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay, and we’d recommend it!

Efficient and swift check-in procedure. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Modern room. Very clean. Cozy and lobby and bar. Convenient location. 2-minutes walk to tram D-train that takes you into the city (Ringstraße) in 12 minutes. 3-minutes walk to the central station and 5-minutes walk to the Metro U1. Air condition that works and that one can actually adjust easily to ones own liking, temperature- and ventilation-wise. (All to do often this is not the case at many hotel, the vent just blows and one "has to live with it". But not at the Leonardo Hotel! Within minutes the temperature was at the desired level. So Kudos for this! Thank you! (Outside temp was up to 32 degrees Celsius during the stay, but the room always kept a comfortable temperature.) The large double bed was extremely comfortable! Slept very well and awoke rested. Not a single bone or joint that ached in the morning. One of the best beds I have ever slept in - better actually than the bed at home!

At times, mostly in the early morning, there was a particular sewage smell coming from bathroom drain. Since it is an open-bathroom solution, the smell then also filled the bedroom area. After a while the smell receded. Possibly some kind of pressure-related plumbing issue.

I like its close location to the Wien HBF and tram station. I like that it has twin single beds, good soundproofing and the availablility to refill water from the water dispenser including sparkling water. Good view and quiet. The staff are nice, happy to help and answer questions.

The shower in the middle of the room didn't have a complete glass door, and therefore water tend to spill out onto the floor during showers. For our room, the water did not completely drain overnight, and pools a bit at one corner. Also there was no blinds in the shower area, which means people from the bedroom area could see through. It is awkward with family as limited privacy. The lack of a kettle. And that the minibar fridge is not that cold.

The hotel is just across the central railway station and nearby the international and regional bus stations. Despite of the busy surrounding the room was totally quiet during the night as well. (Some noise came from the corridor for some seconds due to the impolite guests.) Modern, clean, well-furnished room, comfortable bed. The toilet was in separate from the bathroom. The city center easily can be reached by public transport.

If you want me to say something... I think 18€ /person for buffet breakfast was a little bit expensive. Good choice, they refilled the meals immediately, oke... but this is what you expect from the behalf of a 4-star hotel.

The hotel is so clean and looks bright! The receptionists are very friendly too! The location is superb! Very accessible to the city centre, 2mins away from the tram, and most especially, only 2mins away from Central Train Station where you can get trains to Prague and other countries.

What I didn't like is, that the breakfast is so little! Just bread, eggs, cheeses, and then very few selections of cereals! There are no fruits at all! Sad because the hotel can be superb, but unfortunately, if you want to book a room, just book room/s only without breakfast included. You can just eat out as the hotel is very accessible from many shops/stores and the City centre.

Location, sparkling and still water in lobby. Espresso machine in the room so u can have warm water too for tea/coffee n firm beds. Ample size room.Luggage storage and good drink options.Close to tram D and central Vienna train station.

Fridge was not working. Heating was switched on when it was 18 to 24 degrees outside so had to open the window and switch off central temp control. But windows barely open 2 inches which is a shame so it was very warm in the room. Next time they need to provide individual fans or it gets very uncomfortable there.Tall building hotels are problematic this way.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is perfect—just a short walk from Vienna Hauptbahnhof, making it super convenient for travel around the city and beyond. The room was spotless and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. They even allowed us to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out, which made our stay so much easier. Truly top-notch hospitality—highly recommended for anyone visiting Vienna!
