How the staff went over and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and our needs were met. Room was spacious and comfy and was nice to have the use of the lounge. The spa was great and thankfully it wasn't too busy or overcrowded in there. I was gutted that I didn't get to use the standalone bath during the stay. I should have factored in time. Maybe next time!

We had booked to have dinner on our first nights stay and when we got to the restaurant it was closed and the bar said they were closing the kitchen. There was miscommunication between those on reception and the kitchen/bar staff. They did try to accommodate us but it seemed better to go elsewhere as we didn't want to cause any agro. However, all staff tried to make up for it due to the issue with the dinner booking which we had forgotten about by the time we left. It was a lovely stay

Check in quick and easy, was able to check in early and staff were welcoming and friendly Room a good size, very clean Tea and coffee facilities as you would expect Shower pressure good and shower gel/shampoo and conditioner, plenty of towels. Request robe and slippers at reception Bed comfortable plenty of pillows, and air-conditioning in room Quiet room at night Small pool and spa area, with steam room, sauna and loungers. Lockers and towels also available Room service available, tried the club sandwich and caesar salad, excellent. Good portion size and tender chicken, would recommend All in all a pleasant stay for the price

Could have more coffee in room

From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were looked after exceptionally well. We were provided with a walk in shower, which I had forgotten to ask for on check in and had a beautiful room. We went to the bar before dinner and had a couple of cocktail which were delicious and then went into dinner which had a good selection of food and not just burgers and pizzas which alot of restaurants seem to offer these days. A fabulous quick overnight stay but will definitely return again for the same in 2025.

What was there not to like, well the only thing we thought was strange were guests coming to breakfast in their dressing gowns but I guess as it is a spa hotel you have to accept this from time to time.

I had a wonderful experience thanks to the incredibly friendly staff. I want to give a special shout-out to Maddy, who was not only efficient but also genuinely warm and welcoming. Her kindness and attention to detail made my visit much more enjoyable, and I truly appreciate the excellent service she provided. Thank you all for creating such a positive atmosphere!

Given the size of the hotel and the increasing demand for electric vehicle charging, it’s clear that one charging point is insufficient. To adequately accommodate guests who rely on electric vehicles, it would be advisable to install multiple charging stations. This would not only enhance guest satisfaction but also align with the growing trend towards sustainability and eco-friendly travel options.

Hotel was clean and staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice with loads of choice pool and jacuzzi were nice to visit.

We requested a bottle of prosecco for our room as we got married the day previous which was declined as a request and were told they would sort it out on arrival but wasn't so we just ordered a drink from the bar instead. Also everyone has robes and slippers but our room didn't have them for the spa which was a little disappointing as it was a special occasion. We assumed our room we booked didn't include them. But for £400 I would like to think it was included. We ordered a pizza for £16 which was burnt and not worth that. so we went out to eat instead for the rest of the time. Bed was also uncomfortable.

The hotel is clearly signposted so very easy to find, plenty of parking, you have to provide your vehicle reg when checking in so no charge for parking during your stay. The rooms where very nice, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom very clean and well stocked there as a tea tray in the room, and a room service menu. The hotel is nice and inviting, the bar and reception are welcoming Breakfast was the best, we where greeted by a wonderful lady called Sandra, she made the breakfast experience fun, she was funny, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful the food well presented with a wonderful selection, cooked food as well as cereals, fresh fruit parties and yogurt, and good selection of hot and cold drinks. Can eat as much as you like The gym is accessible 24 hours a day and the spa open till 10pm Also there are shops within walking distance including a Chinese takeaway, local shop and M&S

I had amended the date our original dates, on the original dates i has requested 2 room close together and one of the room to have twin beds. Also this was a birthday weekend break for my mum, so I had asked for a little cake, I was told all had been okayed. When i moved the dates i assumed all the requested would stay with the booking. On arrival I was told nothing has been carried over including the breakfast booked from the original boking. I was gutted i was informed i should have called to check, why would i need to do this when i had only amended dates and not cancelled, plus the hotel has said all was well.

My husband and I had a warm welcome on arrival checking in. The room was quite comfortable with a good view from our window. The room facility was good with even a small fridge tucked away. A very good sized TV and bed, although I would have preferred a flat pillow, but my husband was comfortable with his pillow. The evening meals was a good tasty amount and breakfast had a wide variety to choose from. An enjoyable time was had, just wish we could have stayed an extra night.

A little more choice of where we sat for our evening meal would have been great, but I think we arrived a little late, other than that an enjoyable stay.

The 2 staff that were on duty Christmas Eve when we checked in were very indifferent not at all welcoming No eye contact felt we were an inconvenience Didn't explain where our room was or wish us a nice stay never saw them again and all other staff were great Would have liked the chance to have Champagne or prosseco on Christmas morning at breakfast

I had contacted the hotel ahead of time to say that it was our honeymoon. I had booked a large suite, Room 238. Upon arrival, receptionist Sophie was excellent and very professional and told us the benefits of joining IHG, starting with a free drink. When entering our room, we were really happy, the room was huge, with a super king bed and lovely bathroom. The room had been decorated by staff with some petals and there was a plate with a treat and chocolate dipped strawberry with congratulations written in chocolate. It was a really nice touch. We had booked a stay with dinner bed and breakfast and went down to the restaurant for 7.15pm. Emma our waitress was really good and friendly and explained that the deal included 3 courses. We used our free drinks voucher for joining IHG, with our meal. Our starters were great, deep fried Halloumi for me with sweet chilli which was fantastic, perfectly cooked and not rubbery! My wife had Mac n cheese croquettes with a nacho sauce which was delicious. For main we had Chicken schnitzel with garlic butter served with skin on fries and some rocket with Parmesan shavings. The chicken was perfect and juicy the flavour combination was excellent. The fries were not oily but great tasting and the potato was fluffy. For dessert I had warm chocolate brownie which was the best I have ever had an I am 50 and have had 100’s over the years. My wife had a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake which was also delicious. I joked around with Emma and Mark, the restaurant supervisor, that the food was disgusting, the worst ever, so we had to clear our plates lol. They were both fun staff who made our stay better. After a great quiet night in our luxurious room we came down for breakfast. There was a great selection of continental and cooked breakfast buffet on offer.

The cooked buffet breakfast available unfortunately was a let down, not the selection but the quality of the food. The sausages lacked flavour, and the sausages, bacon and black pudding dried out in their metal containers on their hot plates. To be honest this was disappointing and I don’t think a stay should be spoiled by a basic for a hotel stay. If Premier Inn can offer cook to order then the Crowne Plaza should too, especially after such a fantastic 3 course dinner the night before.

We stay here fairy regular when visiting relatives in East Grinstead. Its easy parking off the A22 heading into town. The room was nice and close to reception and was an accessible one with wet room. This was very good to use with a great pressure from the shower itself. The staff are all very professional, helpful and polite. We were given a complimentary drink at the bar each and a KitKat! Breakfast was included in our room price and was really nice bonus. Plenty of choice in a nice dining room. We used the spa and pool which was very relaxing and all free. Nice TV with plenty of channels, Free Wi-Fi was good also.

The room and bathroom are a little tired looking in places. We did have an issue with a blocked toilet which was like it when we arrived. We used it very carefully until it could be cleared early next morning. Also the maintenance man changed a light bulb in the bathroom, but did not clean up the dust and mess he made on the floor.
