Lovely pub with a great beer garden to be enjoyed. Rooms were outside of the pub with your own front door as such which was ideal. Friendly staff and a delicious fry up included in the room rate. Parking included and ample available. Room had a little fridge with milk and water which was a lovely touch! We stayed due to attending a local wedding but actually would love to stay here again in the future for a night away!
Room had a tiny musty smell when we arrived so only feeding back in the hope this is useful feedback for the owners

The accommodation is annexed to the main pub which was great as you feel like you have got your own space. Outside there is the pub terrace which, again is a good area. Breakfast and the service on check in and at breakfast was exemplary - thank you.
The accommodation is next to a main road which was noisy early on but quietened down later in the evening. We got back from our night out shortly after 10pm but the pub was shut which was a shame as we wanted a last drink before bed. Had we been informed then we could have brought a drink with us as there is a fridge in the room

The room was of a very high standard, clean and very comfortable. The complementary drinks were varied, and great to have a good sized mug, very welcoming to see that. The evening meal was superb, with the member of bar staff who was on her own that evening, could not do enough to make my stay comfortable.
Not a complaint in any way shape or form, however I was informed that if I came down ten minutes earlier for breakfast, that I could be accommodated, as I needed to be at work by 08:30hrs. However, the door was unlocked at bang on 08:00hrs which made breakfast a bit of a rush. This was my issue, not a fault of the property. The breakfast was delicious, I just wish I had more time to enjoy it. The extractor fan was on a motion censor, which meant it came on, and stayed on for quite some time during the night. Not usually an issue, however those of us of a certain age may need to consider this.

Everything,Michelle rang after we had booked and was a really lovely lady. Had a roast waiting for us when we arrived. Overslept due to my alarm not going of,checked out late due to this, and there was no issues from the staff, really decent and likeable people. Nothing was too much trouble. Ringing for a taxi for myself and my girlfriend to get to the station and one of the staff members said forget that,I am going that way and gave us a lift. That's what you call hospitality to the max and greatly appreciated. We shall be returning very soon, rooms are lovely and adequate and for where the place is located, priced accordingly. Beautiful countryside and great stay
Small TV,but so minor a fault,I feel guilty saying it.

Nice room and comfortable bed. Excellent freshly cooked English breakfast. Good selection of teas/ coffee etc with fresh milk in the fridge.. Friendly and helpful staff
Shower stained with mildew at base. Automatic light and fan in bathroom which illuminates whole bedroom in middle of the night. No possibility to open door without Blackpool illuminations.. Situated between two major roads so a bit noisy. Long way from anywhere!

we loved the accommodation . newly refurbished lodges with fresh colours and very comfy. full English breakfast was also very good. Meat from a local butcher and eggs cooked as requested 👌🏽 local Indian restaurant (5 mins away) superb!
uncomfortable conversation with the owner after booking the lodge. I let them know I had a small doggie via email, ( as it’s ‘dogs on request’) the email wasn’t looked at and Michelle thought I hadn’t let them know I was bringing a dog. It was resolved in the end, but could of done without this confrontation and an apology goes long way, that we didn’t have, but she was very friendly over breakfast… I just put it down to having an off day. we all have them 😉

The staff at dinner and breakfast were very accomodating. We loved having a fridge in our room and the toiletries, biscuits and milk were welcomed. It was a really cosy room. The food was great too. We'd definitely recommend.
The heated towel rail was boiling! This made the bathroom really hot; I couldn't turn it down or off. If it can't be, a warning sign might need to be added, especially if children are staying in the room.

We liked the room which was originally a stable block. It was well decorated and lovely and warm. We liked the fridge in room. This had complimentary milk, water, orange juice and small bottle of Prosecco. We knew the pub well and had a lovely meal there. The breakfast was excellent. Lovely choices of food available.

Our stay was excellent from start to finish. The staff were pleasant and friendly. We were attending a nearby wedding and this was fantastic value for money. Room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and very clean. Breakfast was very good. My husband and I have already discussed returning simply for a night away as we were so pleased with our whole stay. Would highly recommend.

We had a fabulous time at The Cowdray, the room was lovely, clean, modern, cosy, very comfortable and had everything we wanted and needed! The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Michelle who kindly let our grandson finish off the raspberries at breakfast Lol We had two evening meals and three breakfasts, and we couldn’t fault anything, so delicious! A big thank you to Michelle and all the team, we didn’t want to leave :)
