Had the most comfy bed I've ever slept in. Very clean.

Had to go through 2 elevators and some stairs to get from my car to my room. If you park on the parking garage above the 5th level you will need to go down a flight of stairs to get to the elevator in the lobby. Then another elevator to my room floor. A little inconvenient for paying $30 a night.

I did not expect to pay for parking. The charge for parking was not mentioned when I booked. But other than that, it was a very pleasant experience, and the staff was exceptionally cordial . I will be returning in large part because of the restaurants within walking distance, and I felt safe there too.

The room was clean with plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, etc. Hallways were clean and elevators came quickly and were spacious. We used a meeting room for a family gathering and it was pleasant and clean. Although the driveway that one used to get to the front door of the building was a tight fit for the many cars that were trying to negotiate the space, the valet staff did a good job.

The $9.95 per night for internet was excessive and surprising. I’ve never stayed at a good hotel that charged for internet use. The fact that it was per night was out of line. It would not have been unusual for the hotel that charged $250 a night (which included AAA discount) to have some sort of free continental breakfast. The buffet breakfast at $20 per person was good but many of our family members wanted breakfast but not a whole buffet. We were there to visit family so just turned on the television briefly but found the TV menu very difficult to navigate and there was no written guide to channels for reference.

Our check-in was quick and everyone was nice and very helpful. Parking was easily accessible. Our room was cleaned every day. Marriott made our stay memorable. We came for the KC Chiefs game 12/25/23 Christmas Day. Thank you for a great staycation! The Thomason’s

The staff was great - we even had a few nice conversations with them. The room was great (LOVED the shower) and it’s one of the comfiest beds I’ve had. It’s also nice to be able to have apps on the tv such as Netflix as most hotels don’t offer that.

Warm breakfast and fresh juice

Booking confusion. We were not registered because of booking.com and the hotel. The staff compensated with amenities unfortunate situation and hope it’s corrected so it doesn’t happen again to anyone.

I love that there is a complimentary shuttle to the Plaza. The front desk staff, shuttle drivers, valet, and bartender were all very nice! This will be my hotel of choice when I visit Kansas City, beautiful hotel!

room was comfy

parking garage elevator and room floor elevators were separate. Was 2 miles from downtown but was advertised as blocks from downtowns making it seem like a 5-10 min walk but was actually 45 min walk. Also, constructio/lane closures on road where main entrance was located, would’ve booked elsewhere if I knew that.

the lady at the front desk in the morning when i checked out, she was knowledgeable, checking in was more chaotic as we arrived at 3, i did not know there was a shuttle to the plaza would have liked to use that instead of driving back and forth, we went to the wrong hotel first, the Hilton! ha

Nice hotel for conference

One staff member very rude at front desk but his coworker soon took over and helped me when she saw him being less than helpful. Manager very nice and goes out of way to help find what you need.
