Overall, I had a decent experience with this hotel; the staff was accommodating, room was spacious and clean. Ac kept the room cool and was quiet. There was a security guard roaming the parking lot which I appreciate. There's a Walmart and gas station nearby which is a bonus for me. Highway nearby so its easy to get in and out of the city.

There was remodeling being done above my room so it was noisy. Tv wasn't working upon arrival, but maintenance was quick to fix it. Good job! Water pressure wasn't great. Had to play with the shower handle.

Our stay was okay and customer service at the front desk was great!! However, there are a couple items to bring to your attention: 1) Our room was on the 6th floor just a couple doors down from the ice machine. The machine was out of ice and beeps constantly which we could hear all night long. 2) The fan cover in the bathroom is loose and rattles when running. Both these items should be repaired for future guests as they are quite annoying. Not sure we'd stay there again as the traffic noise from the freeway and sideboards is quite loud.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The grounds were well maintained. I appreciated how many waffle makers they had out for breakfast. I was very pleased that the hotel had flavored cream for our coffee.

The breakfast could have been better if they had oatmeal already prepared with toppings. Also, it would have been nice to have other bread besides white bread or a waffle. Lastly, please invest in some thicker coffee cups or a sleeve for the cups you already have.

Only a 5 minute shuttle ride from the airport. Even staff member I spoke with was so nice and made me want to stay there again in the future. My fridge made an odd sound all night, but I just turned the AC on and drowned it out. I wasn't a fan of how the water tasted, but that could just be from being out of town and not used to it. My room was gorgeous and well cleaned. The bathroom products were Dove, so I was impressed by that. Overall, I would definitely recommend for others to stay here if traveling to San Antonio.

The hotel was in a great location close to the heart of San Antonio. Continental breakfast was solid; there were always a lot of options for food. I also enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The hotel seemed to be running smoothly, and our room was a good size (we got a king bed + couch for 3 adults). I think we got a good deal for what we paid, and I'd stay here again.

Our room was kind of dirty - whenever we'd walk across the carpet barefoot, our feet would get this blackish tinge to them. The bathroom was a bit out-of-date and the shower floods if you're not careful, not a big deal though. The surrounding area was pretty isolated so I wouldn't suggest staying here alone.

Our stay was great! Staff (especially Rose) was very helpful in checking us in early. Hotel is clean, room was clean and breakfast was good. Its in a very good location 5 minutes away from the airport and around 10-15 minutes to Riverwalk. It's around 15-20 minutes away from the Frost Bank Center if you're seeing a game or show there!

Some times our key wouldn't work or it would take a few times to work but that's it.

The property is spacious and had a very comfortable/open feel about it. There is plenty of parking available and I don’t think I met a single staff member who wasn’t lovely with their customer service. The room I booked was perfect for my brief stay and although I did not get to utilize their offered amenities (it was just an overnight stay) I would still recommend this location to my friends/family.

My husband was arriving at the airport and I wanted to take the shuttle to pick him up; the reception staff and shuttle driver were most helpful in arranging this for us, and we really appreciated the consideration.

The breakfast: we understand how plastic plates and utensils reduce clean up time, but that choice sends a message that La Quinta is okay with increased plastic waste, and the resulting cheap feel to the experience. Seems odd for an establishment that otherwise reflects higher quality choices. The breakfast choices similarly matched the plastic ware - limited, and lower quality.

The staff was super awesome!!!

It was too hard to get the linen changed - policy was if your stay was longer than 3 days, the linen would be changed without request - that didnt happen/ the 3 soap dispensers in the shower were all empty - in 4 nights, the soap dispensers remained unfilled. The ice-maker on the 1st floor was the only ice-maker that worked in the entire building.

The ambience was peaceful as we alighted from the taxi, walking to the front desk, we were greeted with smiling faces from the ladies, especially Kellie, who was on her first day at work. We were given all necessary info especially in regards to breakfast and shuttle. The room was beautiful, airy and very neat. Breakfast was really nice with various options to choose from. We will definitely be coming back here.
