beautiful lobby

We had to leave for a train at 5:00am check-out morning and the front doors were locked/there was no reception on duty, so we had to find the exit through the parking garage ramp in the basement. When I mentioned we were leaving super early the next morning I completed my check-out payments the night before, but none of the staff instructed us on how to get out of the hotel the next morning or mentioned the front doors would be locked. Next time, I suggest instructing visitors on early exit location.

Small lift for 4 people, x 2 and other guests determined to fit into the lift with you even though the door will not shut. The lift can only accommodate 2. Having to create solutions myself for staff who work in. Staff employed in a 4* hotel should be able to problem solve for simple requests. Crockery can be replaced with clean ones, the reception staff forced the cleaner to come and clean the crockery when she was about to finish her shift. The receptionist made it seem as I was forcing her to stay when in fact they could have circumvented all of that and provided clean crockery for the kitchenette. Do not appreciate the gaslighting. Please train staff adequately to problem solve. There seems to be tensions within the reception staff.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The location was perfect, just 5 minutes walk from the train station. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff also took the time to acknowledge my partners birthday by leaving us some chocolate in our room. A nice touch. 👌

There were feather pillows, which my partner is allergic to. The staff were very quick to bring us some alternative pillows once we raised the issue. The taps in the shower were sticking into your legs when you shower, this is simply down to a poor design. But it was a lovely hot and powerful shower.

The members of staff that we encountered were all very welcoming and friendly. We were advised by reception staff about our travel options and we very much enjoyed the free transport around the city; and across the lake, in particular. The room was excellent with all the facilities that we could need during our trip. The hotel was tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious each morning.

The side of the bath was high so entering and exiting the shower was a little difficult.

Elegant reception and friendly staff who spoke excellent English (which was good as my French is inadequate). The bar and small restaurant looked beautiful though we didn’t eat there so cannot comment on the food. Very conveniently located 2 minutes from the train station, less than 10 minutes walk from the lake. Our room was a good size, the robe and slippers were a lovely touch. Excellent coffee from the machine in the room and the kitchenette was so useful. The room was serviced daily. Very pleased with our stay.

Our room backed onto the railway line and a few times you could hear the trains or workmen on the tracks. This was minimal and not a problem for us, but if you think it may be an issue perhaps request a room to the front if the property.

We really liked this hotel! It is located in the very center of the city. For those who like to get everywhere on foot and walk around the city, this is a very convenient location. There are restaurants, shops and other facilities near the hotel. The room was quiet despite being centrally located. Good sound insulation. The room was not very big, but adequate in size. A large, comfortable bed. The room was clean, fragrant. The room has everything you need, extra coffee, sugar, etc. No fridge, no mini bar. Need to know that the contact sockets are not European, iPhone chargers fit into sockets. Also in the bathroom has a hairdryer. Dogs are welcome in this hotel, which is important for us. The hotel has narrow corridors and some rooms are very close to each other, as in a downtown hotel, there is not too much space. The elevators are also narrow. There is a very narrow parking lot in the basement, so it was stressful to enter and park the car. The price for a parking space is quite high, but at least the car is safe and a guaranteed spot. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel, we would love to come back someday!

Dogs are welcome in this hotel, which is important for us, unfortunately, nothing is provided for four-legged friends -no towel, no bowl, nothing, but money for them need to pay. There is a very narrow parking lot in the basement, so it was stressful to enter and park the car, but we were lucky that there weren't many cars, so it was easier. No idea how they would park if all the spots were taken.

The steps to get to the lifts, not ideal when you have cases, also the steps to the side of the reception desk are dangerous as the very last bottom step from the little landing is not noticeable , how I didn’t break my ankle I don’t know . Weather it was because there was a box on the landing I didn’t see it , but could do with a coloured strip . Rattan furniture on balcony could do with cushions as very low and hard

The location is perfect, clean hotel , friendly staff. The staff can speak French and English very fluently. The location is PERFECT, near to the main train station . If you are tourist get the free transport card from reception, the bus station in just at door step of the hotel , free you can go around Geneva from the hotel .

Simple breakfast with few options for the price charged. Bath items are provided in a "free sample" style and in small quantities for a couple. The day before check-out, they did not replace the bath items, they only changed the towels.

Staff were very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was great. Location was absolutely brilliant. Room and facilities within the room were decent. Even though the room faced the railway lines there was no noise from the train tracks.

The elevator was very small and cramped. At the maximum you could have just 2 people with their luggages. The pillows were too soft for my liking, but that's more of a personal preference. For a 4 star hotel, I found the room size and the room facilities to be below my expectations.
