- room service was great, everything was perfectly clean and cleaned on daily basis - receptionists were very helpful, nice and always smiling. They even let us check in 4 hours earlier than was the official time for check-in. - balcony was appreciated, so swimsuits could be hanged there. However, not every room has a balcony so there is an additional charge for a room with the balcony. - beds were comfortable - location is great - a few minutes' walk from the city centre, right next to the Lido di Alghero Beach, 30 minutes' walk from Maria Pia Beach, near to the bus stops

- breakfast was fine but everyday almost the same options with no vegetable - according to what we read, Italians don't eat vegetable for breakfast... - the main road is right next to the hotel, so you can hear the traffic noise when you open the window - shower is quite small, not much space there when you close the shower doors

The position Is excellent, especially if you decide to not rent a car, 10 minutes walk from the city centre ( which is very pretty) and directly on the beach front. The hospitality is amazing. They gave us spontaneously an upgrade of the room including the balcony which wasn't included in the original reservation. The room was clean and tidy and the breakfast abundant. Highly recommend.

we had a lovely stay in Hotel Il Gabbiano, the staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. the hotel is across the road from a lovely beach and we could walk into the old town. we hope to be back in the future.

-Not far from the city centre (walking distance - after a chill beach day :) ) -Sandy beaches close to the hotel -The staff at the reception was very helpful from the moment we arrived until we left. If we had any questions or needed any help, they were always open to help / advise

The hotel is in a very good location, the oldtown is a 10-minute walk, the beach is really few steps away. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast is really good. The staff is simply fantastic! They are all very nice and help with everything.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable & within easy walking distance of all activities on the strand. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here

Very nice location, had a balcony where we could sit and enjoy the view and evening. There is a fridge in the room. Super friendly staff. The hotel is right by the beach.

The elevator was very small.

The hotel gives you a ‘90 vibe. Classical Italian 3star Hotel. It reminded me of the period when I was young and went with my parents at the seaside. I could hear my hotel neighbors sneezing :)

Hotel staff was very friendly. Also the hotel location was great. To get to the beach you just need to cross the road and city center is probably 15min walk.

Breakfast could be much better. Fruit was ok (my wife loves watermelon), but no vegetables :/ As vegans we had to adapt and bring some stuff with us.

Medium as was limited to some cold cuts and cheese. Boiled eggs Yogurth. Crossaints and cakes & toast. I would have loved some scrambled eggs and sausages / bacon. Drinks was enough
