The hotel is very close to the train station. We were warmly welcomed in English by the desk clerk, who lived in New York City as a child. She happily gave us tips on the sights we might want to visit in Cefalu, and took care of our bags after we checked out so that we could continue sightseeing until train time. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good, with lovely fresh fruit as well as the usual pastries and cold cuts.

The shower was the smallest I can ever recall using. My husband and I are both slender, and it was a squeeze for us. A person of size would have difficulty with it.

Friendly staff in a convenient location. We were lucky to be able to park our car in the hotel grounds. Breakfast was good with croissant, fruit, yogurt and other sweet and savoury goods on offer. It was an easy walk to the historical centre which is beautiful. It is also an easy walk to the beach.

The rooms are tired and the shower is on the small side but other than that it is good value for money.

It is very close to the train station great when ariving departing by train.. Very friendly staff and fabulous breakfast.

The sign with our Hotel written on it was hidden by a van and an over grown tree. I went right instead of left, shame as it is 75yrds from the station. An hour later I finally found it, wet with sweat. My fault for not Googling before our arrival. There is a lift (for use going down) bit inconvenient coming back up the hill or stairs at our age.

You may say it is a dated hotel but when a hotel like Hotel Mediterraneo provides you with everything you need as a traveler, that is a very minor point. Not only was it a good hotel, the staff there was friendly, helpful and were always ready to help. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We liked the breakfasts there with many varieties. The location is good. The historic centre is within walking distance. That the hotel provides parking is a big plus, too

This hotel is what it’s advertised to be, a good middle of the road non pretentious place to bed down close to shopping and dining precinct. Everything worked, nothing flash but it was comfortable and priced accordingly and I considered it great value for money. The staff were very obliging, cheerful and helpful.

special compliments to ? Marisiya on the front desk who - provided an adapter for the non-standard Italian electric sockets, carried my suitcase up the steps to the station road, and most of all produced breakfast, incl excellent hot croissants, half an hour early so I could have breakfast before leaving at 7.15 to get my train

what i didn't see in any of the reviews or details is that pedestrian access is down two flights of quite steep steps. not ideal if you have even a small case. apparently there is a lift (available from inside). but this is the main access.

This hotel is super well maintained! The location is excellent, the staff is nice and helpful and the breakfast has many tasty options. You can walk to the beach and historic center and has a parking. And of course is super clean. We loved it there!

Room was great for the price paid, little old forniture but very functional. Breakfast was great, only one we found with some sort of protein sources in the entire island LOL. Staff was very helpful and super kind! Location is perfect, 2 min from train station and 10 min from little old town.

Great location - close to the station and equidistant from the beach and centre of town. Not a flash hotel - but good value. Friendly and informative staff; satisfying breakfast.

I reserved a single - and the single bed was very singular. Even by European standards. Tiny shower.

Great little hotel right in front of Cefalù’s station. I stayed in a “budget” room which was small, but super well equipped and clean. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great, with a lot of sweet and savory options. What’s not to like? 😀 Will be coming back for sure!
