Since the hotel is not in a town, it was nice that it had an attached restaurant. We appreciated that the owner organized a special vegetarian dinner for us at the restaurant. The breakfast was very good (especially the home made jam). The room we ended up in had a wonderful view of Lake Como and mountains beyond. The lounge area was comfortable (we had drinks there and played cards both evenings). I liked how each room in the hotel was different - the place has a lot of character. Lots of interesting art.

I initially booked the Standard King Room. Just so other people know: this room is quite small and the bed is pushed against the wall (so one person must crawl over the other one to get out of bed). For this reason, we switched to a different larger (more expensive) room.

Nice room, clean, parking, nice staff.

Price policy. If you decide to spontaneously add the full breakfast at the property it cost 3 times more than if you take it together with the room in booking (and then the quality is completely not in line with the requested price of 14 euro per person). Since it was so expensive for what it was proposed we just got a coffee and a cornetto. Everything was charged us double compared the prices we saw the day before on the official menu (which were aligned with Italian prices). Very strange.

FANTASTIC stay - tucked in the non-touristy area of Lake Como, our stay was absolutely magnificent. Facilities were remarkably clean, attached restaurant was incredibly delicious. Check-in and check-out were easy. Amazing view of the lake.

Difficult to reach with public transportation - we took the train and walked from Dorio station (~30 minutes along a major roadway) and left on the bus from Olgiasca stop to Colico (only runs 3x/day)

The hospitality of the owner and the employees is super. They are very helpful and explained us where to find the nice hidden beaches. The room is very nice. We had a room with a huge balcony we used to end each day with a local beer we got from the bar. The breakfast is super forschte piece. Fresh bread and fresh orange juice, ham, eggs and good coffee. All we wanted and more it offers a good view of the lake. The hotel is located in a quiet area at night. During day there might’ve Construction going on but that did not bother us since we wanted to explore the region and not stay in the hotel during day. Also very nice are the big parking spaces. No problem to find an empty space and big enough to park even our big SUV.

Amazing hotel, even though we arrived late the owner gave us something to eat because we were tired and hungry from travelling all day, the view is also amazing. The breakfast was really good and tasty, the hotel rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable to sleep in. The owner is super friendly and sweet, if you’re looking to sleep a peaceful night and wake up to an amazing view of the lake then i totally recommend this place.

The owner is an amazing woman and a beautiful soul!! She was so helpful and really went out of her way for me during the stay. Despite the fact that she was clearly extremely busy at the peak of summer. The food was amazing the grilled scampi with fried zucchini was a real highlight! Definitely going to have that again when I am back in the area.

It’s hard to get to without a car. But that is just something to know before you come.

Very hospitable owner Sara! We were treated very friendly and overall perfect. Awesome junior suite was perfectly made with vintage staff and modern techs, was very clean and well furnished, great jacuzzi! Very good quality breakfast has been of fresh and tasty with fresh juice, yogurt, aromatic coffee. Overall best experience! Highly recommend.

Maybe little hard to reach on feet as it is located on hill. If you on car, never mind it.

The staff Werteskalen fantastic, the owner is a real sweetheart and treated me like a dear friend. The property is set upon the lake and the surrounding as well as the hotel itself are just purely gorgeous. Spotlessly clean. Even the cleaning ladies were so lovely.. The food and wine in the Restaurant are excellent. I spent the best weekend ever. Thank you so much for everything..

We absolutely loved it here! We loved it so much we stayed an additional day. The view from our room was fantastic. The hotel staff were so welcoming and made us feel at home. They were helpful in suggesting where to eat and how to get to places. Food from the restaurant is great. The truffle risotto is a must for dinner! Staying in Olgiasca (the village where this hotel is located) is much better than staying in more popular places like Bellagio. More accessible if you have a car though as the village bus from Colico is not frequent. We will definitely be back.

This accommodation is like a romantic dream from the 19th. The environment and the view are amazing. Every room has its own atmosphere. The view from the restaurant is also gorgeous. The foods were excellent quality, fresh, varied, and most of them are local. The staff is nice and helpful.
