The location was excellent as long as you worked out how to get to the property to unpack the car. Accepted our dog for free which is refreshing compared to some of the charges applied by other properties.

When an apartment advertises a washing machine, you expect it to be available in the apartment, not in the basement and needing to pay for it. This would have been acceptable if the apartment advertised it as laundry facilities.

The communication was easy - good direction on where to park, how to get ind ect. The appartment has got everything you need. Perfect location for exploring old town Como. Silent and calm..

The knife in the kitchen couldn't hardly cut.. But this was the only thing missing

Good position in the old town part of Como. Very short walk to local attractions. Thoughtful self contained studio apartment with working air conditioning as well as retaining charming traditional style with small Juliet balconies. Suitable for recovering from long distance travel and also for being a base for exploring the area. Close to popular restaurants - I would suggest booking in advance in summer. Also small Carrefour supermarket with everything you could need a couple of blocks away.

I did not realise there was no lift. I would stay here again due to position and value but brace myself to carry luggage up stairs. Also, instead of walking my suitcase over cobblestones in summer I would recommend paying for a taxi to and from the train station.

- Formost, Its very nice location. 5 minute walk to ferry status, all main como tourist destination and all the things u want do in como city - Room were nice and clean, Decent size. - Hotel is always avalible to answer any query. I messaged them many times on whatsapp and they replied with in few minutes. - Family friendly place

- We stayed for 3 nights, But room was only cleaned in begining. The cleaning could be more frequent - The A/C was not working due to some reasons. It could have been addressed before start of our stay none other than less, the problem was fixed very next days - Not negitive point but more of observation, the appartment has no view so if u r looking for exoctic view, this place is not for you

Lloc-servei- actitud: Excellent location - a walk away from things to do and see - there's even the Tu/Th/Sat market at the end of the street and the Gelato Rosetti (amazing product and service) is just a few minutes away. Very friendly, helpful staff - thanks Juliet for the tips. Comfortable and quite well designed with a special feeling, I like the "sustainability" approach, though there's room for improvement.

There are no curtains to keep out the light (bring an eye mask); the recycling approach needs upgrading and more clarity.

Great communication, helpful welcoming staff on arrival, Central location, clean and spacious room. Free luggage storage on day of checkout.

Had reserved a triple room,however was checked in to a double. I did ask if we had been given the wrong room and was advised I should have confirmed if I wanted to room made up as a double or a twin. I assumed a triple room would have a double and a twin so didn't really understand. The double bed was turned in to a twin on request pretty quickly so it wasn't too much of a problem in the end. I didn't read anywhere on the listing when booking about the 10min limit on hot water to shower which is less than ideal. Lack of proper curtains to block the light from the street also made it difficult to sleep.

I am really thankfull for the treatment at Residencia Díaz. They were very kind, flexible and helpfull when we had a problem with our reservation (my mistake). They trully saved our trip! The checking is very easy and they always answer any doubt by WhatsApp. The place is very well located to visit Como by walking: 10 minutes to the train station, boat piers and dinner area. The building is charming and the appartments have everything you need!

If you have babies or you are not very sportif, watch out with the stairs!!

All of my interactions with the staff were virtual, but they was very friendly and responsive. The property was easily accessible with the instructions given.

It was a little farther from the train station than I expected, but good for town center. Initially, there was an odor with the water/plumbing, but when we contacted them about it, they advised us to run the water to get it moving and that corrected the problem. Apparently it was due to more rain than usual and a lack of pressure in the system.

the girls on reception were very nice and helpful as were the rest of the staff i encountered. the information provided before my booking on whatsapp was useful, the room was very big and the bathroom was good as well all very clean and tidy, it was only a short walk to bars, restaurants, shops, squares and places of interest and the marina on the lake. the building itself was very nice and typical of the architecture in the old city. very nice atmosphere on an evening in the piazzas and old town in general. i would stay here again if visiting.
