Excellent location, in the city center, in walkable distance from train station. Amazing and kind staff, which provided us all the information we needed to get around Florence. The family suite was fantastic. The cleanliness was perfect. There is a cocktail bar and they provided us an welcome drink which was also a nice feature. The breakfast is not served in the hotel but in a nearby Cafe, which was excellent. Totally recommend The Artists' Palace. You also get a bonus of staying in the same building that also accommodated Leonardo da Vinci.

The location is fantastic. The bathroom is spacious and the people are very warm and accommodating. The area can be a bit noisy though but it’s a trade off if you want a convenient location.

it’s a bit too noisy for us. The noise from the merry makers went on into the night. We also had a sleepless night when the restaurant below the apartment decided to do some cleaning. it went on for an hour. Doninico was very kind and rushed down at 12 midnight to offer another room for us but it stopped shortly after an hour so we did not move. It would also be of great convenience for us to move! The space could do with another table too. Also, the photos show a courtyard but we realised it doesn’t below to the hotel.

The hotel is in a beautiful, convenient location across from a church and within easy walking distance of several shops and restaurants. I thought the room was very comfortable. The amount of food included with breakfast was amazing, and the waiter needed to bring a side table to accommodate all of the plates. Our group of friends interacted several times with Elna at the front desk (I am not sure if I am spelling that correctly) and she was always very friendly and helpful. Thank you for making my trip to Florence so special!

The elevator was very small, especially when trying to transport luggage, but that was to be expected. I thought it was amusing there were approximately 90 stairs to reach the third floor. I did not consider the stairs a problem, but perhaps someone would want to know that if stairs are an issue for them.

We didn’t expect the wonderful hospitality or the perfect room for our stay in Firenze. The location is perfect at Piazza San Lorenzo where there is so much action and always a cab to catch. With an elevator, there is no problem getting your suitcases up and downstairs. The morning breakfast down the street was amazing and well worth the 5 minute stroll. Wait til you see it and taste! Our deluxe premium room was white and spacious had just what we needed, a very comfy king bed, a refrig, a safe, a place to hang clothes, wall charging for our devices, a huge bathroom and an unbelievable view of the Top of the Duomo and the Capenele. The bells on Sunday were an added treat. Hopefully you will have the chance to enjoy a refreshment in the library and marvel at the ceiling fresco or the fact the Leonardo DaVinci lived there for a time. The staff was amazing and always immediately available to answer questions about sights to see and how to catch the train. There is no question we will be back. Have passport will travel… especially to The Artist’s Palace in Firenze

Location was superb! just a few steps and you will reach Mercato Centrale, Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Uffizi, Accademia and the shopping area. Wide selections of dining nearby. Room was small but has its charm. Our room was facing Basilica Di San Lorenzo and view was amazing. The library is also something noteworthy. Breakfast is located off the property. They give you a voucher and after a short walk, you'll get to the breakfast place. Breakfast was plated but more than enough to jump start your day. Breakfast was very good!

There was only one elevator and it was kind of small. You have to wait a while when a lot of people are checking out.

Beautiful location - really close to the cathedral. The room was perfect for what we needed, and the bathroom was modern and very clean. We also had a beautiful view from our window! The library with a bar was stunning, and the free drink on the first night was a nice touch. The building itself is quirky and interesting - it’s a unique stay compared to other hotels. The staff were really lovely, kind and hospitable. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Florence.

We had to change rooms shortly after checking in as the air conditioning unit started to leak. This was dealt with promptly and professionally, and our new room - although slightly smaller - was equally lovely.

What an incredibly special and luxurious stay in a wonderfully renovated palazzo in central Florence!!! Absolutely unique experience, we felt like princesses!! And the view of the piazza... magical! We experienced the piazza during the rain, crowded, in the night, in the morning... enjoyed watching people pass by... The highlight was the library room, which is truly unique. I highly recommend that you reserve some time between 19:00 and 23:00 to enjoy a nice drink in this beautiful and impressive room... simply wow! And another highlight was the kind welcome by Elena, who is such a lovely person. Also her blonde colleague was absolutely sweet, and this is such an important part of the overall experience 🤩 Thank you so much ladies, we felt incredibly privileged.

Location is amazing and cannot be beat. Pictures on the website are misleading as that is not the front door and so it took us a beat to find the door. Had the suite as we were traveling as a family and it was perfect. 2 Bedrooms and 2 bathrooms! Most comfy pillows I've ever slept on. Overall very clean and happy with service. Silvana was on the front desk for our stay and she is WONDERFUL! She was so friendly and super helpful in getting us a taxi back to airport when the front desk was closed.

my only comment is that I would have liked a bar of soap. There was a tiny hotel bar on day one, but it should have been replenished daily and it was not.

The location was very convenient - close to the Duomo and great restaurants. The library has a wonderful view of the piazza and was a nice place to relax with a drink. The room was a decent size with lovely high ceilings. The furnishings and decor were quite space, which was OK but not special. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful with finding a good restaurant and called a taxi when we needed it. They also sent out our laundry for wash and fold, which was a great help. They let us check in early and gave us a room upgrade, which was a nice surprise.

The beds were not very comfortable. We had a family double and the twin bed my son slept on was actually more of a chaise, not a regular twin mattress. The decor was very minimal.

Location is superb being within easy walking distance of the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery and other tourist attractions. We were delighted with the superior double room which was spacious and very comfortable and which afforded a great view of the San Lorenzo Basilica and piazza. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and spoke perfect english, a boon for us non-italian speakers.

At first sight the entrance and reception area gave us a somewhat negative impression of the property (for example, there is a large blue sign above the entrance 'Luggage Storage' and a brass plate to the side suggesting that it is a hostel). Our concerns were dissipated on seeing the bedroom and it was explained to us that, as the property is within a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is very difficult to make changes to upgrade the reception, etc.
