This was our favorite property in our whole 2 week stay in Italy! The location was perfect, the room was very spacious and the breakfast was absolutely amazing every single day! Not to mention, opening your window to see the duomo every morning..WOW!!! Eduardo was so accommodating for anything and everything!!! He brought breakfast at a different time every morning to accommodate all of our tours! He even gave us croissants to go as we missed breakfast one morning for an early tour! I cannot say enough about this place or Eduardo. This place is such a gem, I am so glad it worked out for us to stay here. Cant wait to come next year for longer. THANK YOU EDUARDO!

There is NOT ONE thing that we didn't love about this B&B! It far exceeded our expectations! I thought it would be very noisy at night, being in the heart of the city but we didn't hear anything! He left ear plugs just in case but we didn't need them! We cannot wait to return next year!

This is in a lovely old building in the heart of Florence. Beautiful suite, very comfy bed and pillows, had a safe and a fridge with hanging space above. Edoardo was a great host and even arranged a bottle of Prosecco and cake for my wife’s birthday. Being in the centre you have to expect noise but the double glazing did a good job at night. Lovely balcony with views of the Duomo and some very random street performers outside on most days. Easy to get to the station, easy to get to all the sights. Good choice for breakfast. We can’t recommend highly enough!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. It’s not a 5 star B&B so we didn’t go in with those sorts of expectations.

I loved everything about this place. the hosts were extraordinary ! always at our disposal.. they met us right out of our taxi they carried our luggage and had prosecco ham and cheese etc in our room.. they reserved cars and taxis.. they brought us breakfast to our room every morning. one morning we had an early morning tour and they left us a bag with pastries and bottles of juice. and every afternoon we got back from a long day and there were pastry’s and treats in our room.. I seriously am amazed how wonderfully attentive and helpful they were… The day we left he got our taxi and carried our luggage down and waits with us till cab arrived! 14 days wasn’t enough .. they were spectacular and will definitely return.. Loved everything

nothing at all

The location was spectacular — directly across from the Duomo and in close proximity to all the major museums, historical sites, restaurants. It could not have been better located. The room was very large (410 SF, very tastefully furnished with 20 foot high ceilings, and immaculately clean. Édouardo was an exceptional host who paid attention to our every need. Breakfast was delicious, replete with fruit, fresh pastries, wonderful coffee. Every evening, we returned to the room to find a lovely plate of delicious pastries. You cannot find a better hotel or host in Florence.

It was a fabulous place to stay.

This hotel is not only about the great location or the breathtaking view from the balcony. Here, extraordinary people take care of your stay, who make sure that you feel special at every step. Every day we received breakfast in the room and during the day - free treats from the owners, such small gestures like pastries or antipasti. On the day of check-out, the owner himself suggested that we stay until our train departed, we didn't even have to ask. I definitely recommend it and I will definitely come back here!

Nothing to share here - everything was just perfect!

I absolutely love, love , love this property. Oh.. what a view. Eduardo was absolutely amazing. He waited outside for me when I arrived, took my suitcases to my room, made breakfast every morning and delivered it to my room. I had excursion one morning and I was not there for breakfast so he made sure that I had some pastries and water for next day, he brought it for me to my room. He scheduled taxi to take me to a meeting point for my excursion. When I came back he made me spritzer to relax.How wonderful is that. I was just speechless. Wonderful, wonderful, kind and very very caring human being. Guy in the morning when I was checking out took my bags and called the taxi and waited with me until taxi arrived. My room was beautiful with view of the dome. Waking up to that and having a breakfast delivered to my room, priceless. I would return here in a heartbeat. Thank you for everything Eduardo.

Loved everything

The proximity to the Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral and to almost all the Florence attractions in walking distance. The room was big and comfortable with a nice bathroom. Edoardo is an excellent host who brought us a generous breakfast to our room each morning, considering our personal preferences. He surprised us each day with wonderful pastries he left in our room every day. He is so friendly and always ready to help with tips and information about everything we asked. He helped make our stay an unforgettable experience. We whole heartedly recommend this hotel.

This is a great property run by Edoardo who is such a charming host. Edoardo met us out on the street and carried our bags into the property. Offered us freshly made coffee and showed us to our room. I mentioned I didn’t drink coffee but tea with lemon which he surly arrived with a lovely fresh lemon. Not only that but every day of our stay when we returned to our room there was a fresh lemon and lovely pastries awaiting us as an afternoon treat. Really unexpected but very much appreciated. Location couldn’t be better.

It’s an old building so no lift it it is all located on the first floor so no problem.

The property was in an excellent location, it was within a 10 minute walk of the tram stop which incidentally is the easiest and cheapest way to commute ( departure every 4 mins) from the airport. Its central location was also perfect for visiting all the tourist attractions both north and south of the river. The room was very comfortable, clean, spacious, high ceilings and big windows making it light n airy and a pleasure to stay in.

We actually loved the fact that the room was above a busy street ( metres away from Piazza Duomo) We opened our windows to take in the ‘buzz’ of everyday life, we even had opera singers! however, it may not be to everyone’s liking?

The location "is" the most happening place near the Duomo. Nightly street performers could be viewed right out the window. Ordering breakfast was easy, served on time, and quite tasty too. The suite was like a 1 bedroom apartment with a separate dining room, a more than large bedroom, and a large bathroom. I had read reviews that the street noises late could interfere with sleep prior to booking this property, but I did not find it an issue at all. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely yes. Eduardo & his brother was exceptional in attending to all our needs. The location, suite, and service were exceptional. Highly recommend.

Minor grouse is that the stairs were dark at night and it was not easy to find the light switch. Walking up and down in darkness had to be navigated carefully, and the 1 person elevator was not worth the effort to use. Another aspect I did not like was that my 4-day stay was too short😃. I wish I had spent a week or more in this suite and enjoyed more of Florence.
