The room was very well appointed and comfortable, except for the amount of drawer space (in the bedroom and bathroom) and lack of coat hangers. I did seem to have a problem receiving top up tea bags and milk (even though I asked Reception to have housekeeping do it) so I had to obtain them from the breakfast buffet. It might also be helpful to have a shelf in the shower so users can put their own bath products somewhere.

Nothing that I didn't like as such, the staff and the room were great.

- spacious and clean room - well-equipped bathroom - good breakfast - great location: easily accessible from the train station by bus, an easy walk from the old center

- without slippers and a bathrobe (I wouldn't necessarily need a bathrobe, but it's a 4-star hotel) - difficult check-in, takes a long time (I don't know what the front office receptionist ticks on the computer for whole minutes); I think the check-in/check-out software should be simplified, the receptionists and the customers suffer unnecessarily - at check-in, a credit card is requested (debit card is finally accepted) for what it is not clear (the bar is empty, you have nothing to take from there); I don't think it's right to take the data from your card, possibly also the CVV/CVC Code (I have no idea what the receptionist writes on that computer); I did not find this requirement in the reservation conditions, but maybe I was not careful enough

Junior suite for my family of four was very spacious. We arrived very tired from the night train at 6am and the staff very kindly let us into the room straightaway for a nap which was so helpful. There wasn't even an early check-in charge. The breakfast was lovely, my sons were very excited by the waffle maker! The self-service laundry was great value and very helpful to have. Location was brilliant - particularly because it was opposite the best gelateria we have ever found! Walking distance to all the sites of Padova.

More towel rails in the bathroom and more clothes storage would be really helpful.

The location is fantastic. Its close enough to walk to the city centre and there is also a bus stop right outside that goes to the train station. The rooms are nice and spacious and really nice design. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is amazing too! Very powerful. It has everything you need from a safe, iron and iron board and even a smeg fridge and kettle. The hotel is quiet too so you dont hear noise from other rooms. The reception staff are also very helpful.

The breakfast was great but just a little annoying to have 1 self service coffee machine for the whole restaurant. There were long queues for coffee all the time and the machine broke on several occasions.

Everything was great at this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was very clean. The personnel were nice and very helpful. The day of my departure, I left early, before breakfast started, and they provided me a packed breakfast, which was highly appreciated.

I found 2 things that could be improved: (1). The breakfast area is quite small, and there is only 1 coffee machine, which means you need to queue for a coffee. Also food could be more varied. Breakfast is good, but it could be better for this type of hotel. (2) In the bathroom, the shower knob is very hard to turn. And if you have soap on your hands, then it is impossible, which means never closing it during a shower and wasting water. Also it would be great to have a place to hang/dry the towels so they don't need to be changed everyday.

This property rescued me after a horrible experience in another local hotel where my safety felt compromised and the hotel was misrepresented. When I arrived at HGI the staff were so kind and compassionate and couldn’t do enough to help. The room was large and clean and modern and most definitely ten stars above where I had left. Kudos to management for having incredible staff, polished, polite, kind and personable. I felt cared for in this instance with the minimum of effort.

Everything about it was superb. The location was excellent but it was the staff and hotel itself that was first class. The staff could not have been more friendly, professional and helpful. It’s a new hotel and everything had been thought through carefully. The lobby area is bright and attractive. The rooms really comfortable and clean. No hunting around for power outlets or unplugging lamps to charge devices. The bed was comfortable and there was proper large bath towels. Great shower. Would thoroughly recommend.

The offsite parking is a little pain to get to. About an 8 minute walk. But given the great location close to the old town, totally understandable. They could have just not offered parking at all so at least there was an option.

It's a great hotel that is well located. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It's just a few blocks from the old town. Everything is new and clean. Rooms are large and spacious, including the washroom (with a rain shower). Superbly comfortable beds with great pillows. There's a decent gym. If you stay, definitely try the gelato across the street. On another trip, I checked out a different hotel for the same price and returned to this one as it's much better.

Nothing not to like.

The hotel is newly renovated and very comfortable. The beds were great and made up with duvets rather than blankets, so great to sleep in. The rooms were a decent size and the bathroom was also a good size. Shower was fantastic, hairdryer was free standing not fixed to the wall which is a huge plus when you have long hair to dry. There is a laundry on the fourth floor so if you are on a long trip you can do a load of washing easily without having to leave the hotel.

Nothing jumps out.

Good location, breakfast was ok, the room is spatious and clean. The parking is free of charge - couple of blocks away from the hotel: just a note in case you'd rather like to have your car monitored, we didn't mind it.

We got the room right next to the elevator and the sounds of elevator were pretty loud during the night so you should definitely try to avoid that if you are a light sleeper.
