The staff was very accommodating. The location was perfect in the historic area. And the room was comfortable and beautiful.

It was a little warm at night, but to be expected with no ac in an old building.

- The location is perfect, right by Parma Basilica. Our room was looking at the piazza nearby. We felt like we were in a movie. We were close to every major landmark but away from the crowds. - The room had a rustic but luxurious design, having made us feel like we were in a period movie. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. - The hotel is quite for a comfortable sleep. - The check-in/out was easy. - The staff was helpful and extremely nice. - We had a great opportunity to stay at a historical place for an affordable price.

Very well located in the center next to main attractions. Also, several wonderful restaurants are close by. The staff was great with helping us finding the hotel (we got lost) and directing us to the parking which is right behind the hotel; however you need to drive around in big circle through very narrow streets.

While the bathroom is really nice due to the architecture i hit the sink during the night ; the door opens and then there is no space to walk past the sink. It may be an issue only for thsi room however. Getting to the parking was a bit hard and one has to drive through very narrow streets: be ready. It sounds worse than it is but one needs to know this IF you arrive by car.

Location..spacious bedrooms and apartment. Daily maid service. Helpfully friendly reception. Lots of thick towels. Slippers. Comfy beds and nice linens.Toiletries.

Couldn't use microwave and reception didn't know how to operate it. Some furniture and kitchen counter scuffed, torn surfaces. No luggage racks. Had to put luggage opened on the floor. Rained a lot....way from elevator to apartment was constantly wet and slippery flooring. No light at night on way to elevator...dangerous and could have led to a fall.

The room was large with plenty of space and was nicely furnished. The hotel location couldn't have been better as it was right on the Piazza Duomo. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were good restaurants in short walking distance.

The hotel is not set up to accommodate breakfast on the premises, so guests must go to one of two locations on the block for the free breakfast. Not as convenient as a free buffet breakfast on the premises, but I realize this is something over which the hotel has no control.

First, the location is sublime. The place is literally on the piazza with the cathedral and the baptistry (the baptistry was fascinating, but the cathedral is truly a below-the-radar gem). The front desk people were amazing. Friendly and helpful. If you drive, they will have your car valet parked (also do not worry about driving in the pedestrian zone, they will register for the ZTL with the police). The room we rented was a 2br with kitchen (#210). Had a washing machine which was wonderful to get a quick and proper refresh of our clothes.

I am not sure how they could alter this, but the layout of the room is peculiar. The private room had 2 single beds, while the master bed was in the living room. Would reverse that and maybe put in a sofa bed. Also, for a room this size, would have thought a tub.

This 2 bedroom apartment on Cathedral Square has amazing views of the Baptistry. Also staff was very accessible and helpful with office downstairs. Easy to walk to great restaurants and stores

Be prepared, it may take you 30-60 minutes extra with traffic restrictions and no GPS (in the last KM) to find this property . Suggest calling very helpful management when you enter the historic district to guide you in. Also although parking is “next door” it is very hard to find and sometimes full. Also minor decorating issues including paintings need to be hung up on walls. Note Make reservations in advance for Parmesan tours.

The location cannot be more central, it's right on the main square next to the Baptistry. It's a historical palace comprising several apartments and suites, very beautiful. The apartment was very spacious, comprising a living room, two bedrooms and a kitchen: perfect for a family of 4. Nice and stylish reception area with boutique offering high-quality regional produce. Exceptionally nice and helpful staff at reception, you feel very welcome. We got excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants, and were delighted with both suggested options (in terms of gastronomy it turned out to be the highlight of our road trip). We loved absolutely everything, and would definitely stay again at this hotel when we travel back to Parma.

The location was perfect and could not have been better. It was next-door to the baptistery. an important place. Cafés and gelato were very close by. Our room was large, very comfortable with a small kitchen. The receptionist at the hotel was extremely helpful, kind, and very professional. We absolutely love staying here and were very fortunate to have found this unique accommodation. The breakfast was perfect with choices and delicious cappuccino. It is a very old building and lovely.

There is nothing that I did not like. It is a perfect place to stay in Parma, close to everything.

- There is an open seating area with a smoking tray on the uppermost floor flanked by three apartments. The walls are not very soundproof and there is just a thin window separating the nearest bedroom from the couches. There was no sign reminding late night visitors of this and we had two nights of loud talking and music playing in the early hours. No fault of the staff who were apologetic, we suggested they should simply put up a sign. - At this price point basic things like salt, pepper and oil would be nice in the otherwise fairly well equipped kitchen (great gas hob)
