The location was amazing, located directly opposite the Panthenon, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and was very modern. Both the view from the bedroom and bathroom were of the front of the Panthenon which was a pleasure. There were plenty of restaurants in the streets surrounding the hotel, most notably for us the street to the left as you exit the hotel (not bearing left either, left then straight)

Unfortunately I found the bed a little too firm for me and there was quite a bit of noise through the night from refuse collection etc. But understandable disturbances. Breakfast was a short walk from the hotel in a cafe in a piazza, there wasn't a great selection to have but we enjoyed what there was.

The hotel was spotless and the location was perfect.. We could see the Pantheon and hear the atmosphere below but the minute you closed the windows it was silent which made it perfect for sleeping. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The first morning we were taken to where we have breakfast which is a very short walk away. Everything about this stay was perfect and we would come back to this hotel again and again.

If I was going to be super picky then the lift was really slow but on the flip side there is a lift! So really there is nothing I could complain about this hotel.

This was my second stay at this hotel and this time I booked two rooms for 3 nights. We had an amazing time and our rooms were lovely (double rooms). The location is spectacular, with the view in front of the Pantheon. The area itself is full of charm and has lots of places to eat and drink and it was really lively in the evenings. The staff were very polite and friendly and always accomodating of our needs. We also loved the breakfast which has lovely seasonal fruit and a great choice of eggs and pastries. The rooms were clean and comfortable with lovely bathrooms and very spacious for an inner city hotel. I think I found my favourite hotel in Rome - will definitely come again!

Nothing! Everything was perfect

In the frenetic world of summer travel around the Pantheon, it was an oasis of calm, clean, quiet and relaxing. Tall ceilings, immaculate bedding, an add’l couch and a good sized bathroom. Must have been remodeled to include high quality sound proof windows. Well done overall modern design with various soft lighting options and electric switch window coverings. The front counter staff were always welcoming, gracious and helpful. The first interaction with a hotel leaves the most important impression and Antonio was that warm and knowledgeable host when we arrived. Did I mention the personal overview of our room and complimentary bottle of Italian Champagne?

I wasn’t overly impressed by the breakfast menu, seemed like few egg plate options, but in retrospect, I was able to ask for my eggs as an omelette or scrambled in the mornings that followed. The restaurant for breakfast is around the corner, but not terribly inconvenient.

Location is exceptional. Breakfast is down the street and good. Room was beautiful and immaculate. Staff was very helpful and available 24 hours per day. Taxi stand at Pantheon is useful.

Elevator was out. Toilet could run unless you jiggle the handle If your are driving, do not drive to the hotel! Park at the Garage Trevi and taxi or walk to the hotel. We did not like the room charges - for the same room the price on one night was over $200 more under the same reservation - this is ridiculous. Had we been informed of this, we would have preferred to work directly with the Abruzzi than with the booking.com algorithm.

What a beautiful little gem. The other positive reviews are spot on - this adorable hotel is a dream. The staff emailed me when I made the reservation and followed up several times to offer help scheduling activities and transportation, as well as to inquire about my needs during our stay. The room was beautiful and the view directly on the Pantheon was amazing. The breakfast was very good. What a wonderful experience! We will stay here again!

The exceptional accommodations set in a historical place, the service, and the people of Hotel Abruzzi all made it the greatest stay we've ever had in any hotel, period. Valentina and her colleagues at the reception desk gave their utmost best to cater to our needs and requests, from a pharmacy order to a last minute private tour of the Galleria Borghese. The stay exceeded our expectations on all points. We highly recommend this hotel. Absolutely fantastic.

Great location. We walked everywhere from the hotel, although our legs were worn out by the end of the weekend. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy and you got a great view of the Pantheon. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

It was just unexpected that the breakfast included was at a cafe around the corner (although thinking about it makes a lot sense) and wasn’t really a down side. The staff there were equally brilliant and the food delicious.

The room was amazing, with a beautiful view to Pantheon. Really magical. The staff was incredible, very helpful and kind. The location could not be better. Great restaurants all around and close to everything you need. The room were always very clean and in perfect shape.

When we arrived they where remodeling the hotel, so they gave us a room in the next door building. At first look the entrance were a little disappointing, with piled stuff wen you open the door. But the room and the stuff where amazing and minimized this first impression.

Our room was spacious, comfy, stylish, and clean, with a divine bed. Shower pressure was great, and most importantly, location is EXCELLENT. The breakfast selection was delightful, delicious and the location was absolutely perfect!! The staff was AMAZING. We will be back!!!

There were no negatives to this place. We do wish we had had more time to spend in such a great location and in such a wonderful property. We will keep this place in mind for future visits to Roma.
