Elevator for the baby stroller, this is difficult in Rome. Very good staff. Hot water. Great location, all historical places reached by walking.

We booked a non smoking room, but smells like cigarette.

Lovely high ceilinged and spacious room with clean bathroom. Everything was correct and staff were friendly.

At the time of our visit the elevator was out of service which meant climbing more stairs than we’re used to. Free exercise - but a bit of a hassle on the days we were with luggage.

Hotel Martini is a lovely 3 star Italian hotel with a lot of charm and wonderful staff. Our family room was on the smaller side (for 4 people and luggage) but we had a renovated bathroom and daily service. The location was perfect, with the train station, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Colosseum within easy walking distance. We chose not to make use of the 5€ pp breakfast as we preferred to explore the local bakery options. Our room was clean, with high ceilings and had a great working aircon unit which was fantastic during the August heat. The hotel doesn’t have a functioning elevator but we managed ok as we traveled with backpacks. Might be a little tricky with suitcases/prams and smaller children to climb up to level 4. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

Quiet newly renovated room, looks like. Room is at a fourth floor of a residential building, quiet at night. Walking distance to the Roma termini train station, also few steps to the Republica metro station, if one doesn't like to walk more to get to Roma termini.

Lift was out but was not notified to the guests on Booking or anywhere, so guests have to carry their bags up and downstairs to the fourth floor hotel. When we arrived, it was after 230 pm local, which is after the check in time starts, however, no one was in the hotel to check us in or even open the door for us. So had to go down stairs to a hotel at the 2nd floor, which has had staff available, and beg them to call a number left at the hotel door, because we didn't have an Italian local phone number, then the door was unlocked remotely and we were able to get in and wait for the staff to come and check us in, very interesting experience.

Good location central to most attractions, new bathroom with plenty of room

Not enough power in shower, room was clean but cups for coffee and water were not clean, 2 single beds could have better mattresses.

The hotel had a great location, within walking distance of several of the popular sights. The staff was extremely friendly and kind, especially the gentleman that worked the desk most mornings. He showed us everything at breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed. He even said goodbye to us before we checked out once his shift was over. We also liked that the property was secure and required a key/code for entry. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby too. The Irish pub down below also had an extremely kind staff and the food was actually pretty good!

The hotel was really sweet and friendly. The historical building was great. The ceilings were very high, we liked the antique elevator very much. The cheap and varied breakfast was great. Especially the employees were very helpful. My special thanks go to Nightshift Bobby. He was very kind and friendly. It was within walking distance to everywhere. There were great places around.

The pillows and bed could have been a little softer, but everything was great!

24 hour reception, greeted us at 4 am after our flight was extremely delayed. informative & helpful staff who spoke English. our room was away from the street noise, and very quiet. Small hotel. close to restaurants and shopping, subway and bus lines. comfortable beds.

Street door was a challenge to open at times. Elevator was small, but was glad we didn’t have to walk up 4 flights!

The location of the Hotel is perfect, you can easily do everything by foot and, when needed, you can get the metro (M4 Republica) in less than 5 minutes walking. You can reach most of all tourist attractions within minutes and the main street (Via Nazionale) has lots of restaurants, cafes and stores. The room is big and it has air conditioning which is really important during summer in Italy. Staff is friendly and always there if you need something.

Small improvements in the room would be nice such as fixing the bathroom door.
