Good location. Very clean room. Friendly and helpful staff.

Food service could improve. Everything at breakfast including egg dishes was cold. Coffee was like warm hot. There was a small bar near dining area but it never appeared to be open.. the one night we found someone there at 8:00 pm we were told it was closed at 7:00 pm.

The front desk staff was great, always helpful and friendly. We were traveling with another couple and we really like sitting in the lobby chatting and relaxing a bit and talking with other vacationers and staff. The location was the best. It's kind of hidden but quick and easy access to many sites and walking distance. We especially enjoyed the neighborhood market and restaurant/bars.

The bar needs to be livened up. It closes at 7 pm which most people don't arrive back from exploring the city by that time and the staff that works in the bar is very unfriendly and not at all helpful. The morning breakfast needs help! Every item is cold, including the coffee! You have to sit where they seat you even if you don't want to sit there.

location was ideal in a quiet area close to key sightseeing destinations, breakfast was tasty, but not as a 4* hotel, staff was very helpful and polite, bed were comfortable, staff arranged a return taxi to the airport

hotel is not really a 4*, but well maintained, some construction nearby did not disturb us, but spoiled the view

Location is great Breakfast is also great, all kind of meals, including good quality coffee by request The room was cleaned every day, tea pot and minibar in the room. Our stay was during the New Year holidays and the hotel was very nice decorated. Also it was warm in the room. As for me - bed was comfortable, 2 pillows for each person. Great view from the windows

We had a pretty old room, nothing was broken, all functioning, but, anyway, need to be renewed or replaced. The key is classic, so you need to leave it on the reception every time you leave the hotel. Also the safe box inside the wardrobe wasn't fixed there - this way there were no sense to use it

Cleanliness, aircon, friendly, perfect location in a quiet area yet very close to the restaurants in Campo di Fiori. In the centre and walking distance of all attractions.

Amidst the chaos of Rome, the hotel provides welcome tranquility. The 16th Century building retains its elegance, with high ceilings and art-filled walls.

Although the outside temperature was around 80 degrees in mid May, the AC hadn’t yet been turned on. The front desk clerk blamed Italian bureaucracy. (Apparently, a city inspection is required annually before it can be turned on.) That meant we returned to a hot, stuffy room after a day of baking in the sun (although the room cooled down nicely at night once the sun went down and the windows were opened). Also, we found few items to our liking in the breakfast buffet. Scrambled eggs and a quichelike dish were served cold, the pastries were dry and the juices were basically flavored sugar water. However, the fresh melon was wonderful..

The hotel has two floors in an old building full of character. The staff exceeded our expectations every day. They treated us like family. If you are comparing the hotel to America I’d say what you may find lacking is exceeded by the staff services. They do not live like Americans. Breakfast in am was typical am European buffet. They made us Cappuccinos every morning! We loved being close to the plaza, Trastevere and the Jewish Ghetto. An important part of our traveling experience are the people we meet along the way and the staff here was warm and gracious 100% of the time. Highly recommend. Good value for $$

Actually I can’t think of anything.

The location was incredible ! You can acces every touristic site whitouth a cab . The hotel it's old but still in good shape. The rooms are very clean also every day they are cleaned. You get everything you need like shampoo wifi acces and a mini bar. The staff it's incredible helps you whit everything for example i lost my backpack in a cab and they called and the driver was back in minutes. Thanks to Farnese Hotel maybe i will be back one day ! Very good breakfast also !

When you get back from roaming all the Rome you get inside you're room and you get hit by a hot air . The rooms are hot and AC it's not working . I know i was there in december but still the rooms are getting hot . The old fashioned rooms are a bit outdated and i think they should modernize a little. Also the rooms are a bit small i know it's Rome but still it's a 4 star hotel . Also the beds are quite terrible my back it's screaming for my home bed.

The location was great. Staff were very pleasant & helpful. The room & bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast was very good with good variety.

Be aware that the rooms can be quite different. We booked this hotel for the start & end of our 2 weeks in Italy. At the beginning of our trip, we had a room that was OK, but the bathroom in particular was very small. We kept the reservation for the end of our trip, but were undecided about whether we would return on a future trip to Rome. After the room we had on this stay, we were sold & we will return to this hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect. You can reach all the attractions on your feet. Very friendly staff.

To get hot water in the shower took ages.
