This is a very basic motel located in a perfect location for tourists in Rome. It is centrally located within the old city with multiple taxi stands around. The one works best is at largo Argentina with taxis available most of the time. We had a 6 night stay in a family room with a separate bedroom for a queen bed and a small living room with two single beds. I don’t know about other types of rooms, but we had air conditionings for both rooms working decently well during the heat wave. Both rooms are small but we were prepared for that because we know what to expect at such a good location in Rome at a reasonable price during the peak season. The lodging seems to be owned by two lays with one can speak good English and the other cannot. Both ladies were very helpful. They provided limited service like cleaning only every three days. And the breakfast options are quite limited, but at least they are in decent quality.

The personal was very friendly and helpful. All details were explained when we arrived at the location. What we liked the most was the central position (within walking distance from Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi, Altare della Patria, Piazza Navona and Colosseum; close to bus stations) and the quietness. The breakfast was nice (coffee/decaffeinated, croissants, cereals, fruits, etc.).

We did not find comfortable that we needed to walk the stairs (4 floors) every time when we were coming back to the room.

Definitely the location is perfect. 5min from Pantheon, 20min from Coliseum, 30min from Termini station. The breakfast also surprised me, the croissants were delicious. And was really kind of the staff to serve pandoro and panetone on Christmas Eve. Also, the self check worked well. The staff provided a nice video with good instructions.

The Wi-Fi signal was a bit unstable. So we could not stream videos wirh good quality in the room and make some Internet transactions as buying tickets.

Location was very central, you could walk to most of the major sights like Pantheon and Piazza Navona (close) and Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps (a bit farther). They also allow you to leave your luggage for free upon check-out if your flight leaves later in the day. Breakfast was basic but adequate for morning fuel.

Shower stall was TINY, and I am a 5'3" Asian lady. I don't think larger/taller people would be able to shower with the door closed.

Location was absolutely amazing and the main reason for booking here. I also needed a larger room to accommodate our family. The rooms were minimal but met our needs just fine. The breakfast was perfect for a quick top up before exploring for the day but not anything over the top nor loads of choice (if that's what you are looking for). Likewise, read the reviews to expect several flights of stairs to climb each day - again something we expected and didn't mind, but if you are mobility impaired this could be an issue.

Would have liked (hair) conditioner also supplied as I have long thick hair and that made showering/washing a bit tricky for me.

Excellent location - value for money accommodation within walking distance of the Pantheon. Comfortable room with 2 large windows allowing for natural light. Heritage structure with a unique approach and entry - while I loved the vibe , my daughter felt it’s a haunted building 😊

The lady staff who was attending to us - while she was professional - just didn’t look happy to see us / not sure why Bathroom has a tight shower cubicle - good part was this was known to us based on the photo displayed so appreciate the transparency

The location was fabulous. Literally just around the corner from the Pantheon, surrounded by restaurants with a wonderful atmosphere. Staying in what was once a monastery held a charm of its own.

The stairs. This was only a minor inconvenience only due to the fact that I’d hurt my knee the week before, so it proved a little difficult to navigate. The rest of my family had no problem with them.

We stayed in a place that literally had monks living on the lower floors. So cool, the lady looked after us, breakfast was fine. Would have been nice to make a coffee outside of just breakfast time. The location was wonderful, with buses in easy reach and most sites with a walk for those fit enough or via bus for us older types. Supermarket with 100m, takeaway place with great food even closer. Oh and the Trinity College pub did well for us!

We were in room 2 and the shower screen was a little tight for my wife to fit through. My sister would not have fit into the shower!

The location of Minerva Monks Inn was great, v close to many sights and attractions, close walking distance to the Pantheon and Trevi fountain etc. Our room was clean and as advertised, we were three friends travelling together and wanted a bed each, the quadruple room was perfect. Breakfast was good, a selection of bread, croissants and cereals. Good coffee. We were happy.

Maybe a little more selection of fruit/savoury offerings at breakfast?

Minerva hotel is located very centrally in Rome and we would recommend it as good value for money. Sufficient for your stay during Rome cultural visit, simple breakfast, nice personnel. Warm water, own shower, bed ok ;)

Little old-dated furnishing/facilities. Breakfast is only sweet - no ham, cheese, or bread.. Very small room. You must use the stairs to the 4th floor during your stay (except for check-in and check-out) - but this is stated before. But everything is well-known before ;)
