A charming place, quiet and peaceful, no noisy neighbors, a piece of real life of truly rich locals.

Mosquitoes. Plastic cups for coffee. No one answered my question about where to leave the keys either in the evening or in the morning, so I had to worry about where and how to leave them safely. Not very talkative and not very friendly lady who checked me in. If you have suitcases, there is no elevator to the 3rd floor.

Centrally located in old town, everything within walking distance. The property itself is a piece of art, with its frescos on the (6 meter high?) ceiling and the antique furniture. Great look over old town and the harbour from the bed! Michael was very helpful!

If you come by car, you have to make a reservation for a garage upfront as the palazzo is in a ZLT area. Tipp: If you arrive on the weekend, it makes sense to park just above old town (via salvatore de renzi) where you usually park by the hour, but it‘s free on weekends.

The room is very big and historical, it felt very special to stay in a palazzo that had been in the same family for hundreds of years. It's in a good location too. I just wish I had tried the fan in a different plug earlier, it worked perfectly but not in the plug that it was in at first. I didn't ask the owner about it so none of this is his fault, he was very helpful with everything. Just wanted to say that the fan does work perfectly!! The wifi was super good too.

The apartment is located within a heritage building in the old district and is exceptionally decorated.You only have access to one of the bedrooms and toilet but good for 3 people.

Note that Taxis will not go upto the door of the building as the streets are narrow, you have to take your luggage on foot the last few meters.

Comfortable room with a fine view in a wonderful historic palatial building. Helpful, communicative host. Excellent location in historic center of Salerno.

Just slightly hard to get to with heavy luggage, because it’s in a pedestrian zone. Our host kindly helped with the luggage, though.

The cool historical villa. Owners of the villa are very nice people, immediately helped us with all the questions. The villa has stunning sea views.

We had the pleasure of staying in the Palazzo Conforti for a short evening in Salerno after a trip down the Amalfi Coast and we found the place absolutely stunning. Not only does it represent traditional charm, elegance, and art, the place is located in the historical centro and is kept in pristine condition. The owner was very kind and accommodating, reaching out prior to arrival to confirm check in time that would suit us. He was also very helpful in figuring out our next-day boat ride to Capri. We would highly recommend a stay in this historical location!

It is a magical place, the most weird and beautiful accomodation I have been. A dramatic entrance followed by an amazing apartment, full of history!
