Daniele and his wife Mila are the dream team that runs Truffle N Bed. They are both worldly, well-travelled, and deeply passionate about slow living and self-care. You’re staying in Daniele and Mila’s actual home, which has been lovingly modernized to a high spec with a creative flair while maintaining the traditional charm of a Tuscan farmhouse. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious; everything is handmade by Mila, from the cakes and pastries to the jams and cornflakes, all made with organic ingredients and a focus on 0 km. It is always served with the most thoughtful presentation, complete with a view of the Tuscan countryside. Bonus—Mila can cook eggs in any style you want! Daniele is a great conversationalist and has many excellent tips to enhance your holiday plans. He was our main point of contact as we only spoke English, and he was super accommodating, making us feel right at home. They both truly went above and beyond, and I hope to stay here again! Tips: - Free parking is available on the doorstep. - No shoes are allowed inside the property; you can either walk barefoot or use provided shoe covers. - For the AC, keep it on the snowflake setting if you want it to turn on during the summer—my rookie mistake! - Mila offers a home-cooked dinner for an additional cost, mostly plant-based. I would highly recommend this if the breakfasts are anything to go by! - Leave the room key inside the house when you leave.

The landlord was extremely nice and helpful, he waited for our arrival even though we’re late, he explained all necessary information. The breakfast was lovely homemade food. The bed and mattress were top quality, better than four star hotels. There’s also an air conditioner, which is helpful in the summer.

The road to this house is a bit winding but in general okay.

Great location, just as described, in a "hidden gem". The room (and the rest of the house) was neat, couldn't be more clean. Lovely set up and amazingly comfortable bed!! Breakfast was delicious and the attention and care from Daniele great as well. I felt welcomed from the very first moment. Thank you very much! If I find myself in the area again I'm coming back.

Perfect location: It is literally minutes away from every attraction in the area. Great place: The house itself is located in a very nice area, the view from the windows is stunning. The rooms were very clean, the bed was comfortable and everything we needed was there. Great hospitality: The hosts were very friendly and always there to make sure nothing was missing. Delicious food: Best breakfast we have ever eaten. The homemade jams, the biscuits, the cakes, the juices, tea, coffee, everything was great. ... All in all, we had a very pleasant experience. We will definitely go back when we visit Tuscany again. Thanks Mila & Dan for the warm reception!

We really enjoyed our stay for 4 days of exploring Tuscany. Dan and Mila were really very kind and caring. We were treated with great sweet breakfasts (we're hard to please for breakfasts but it was amazing! An egg however we like it, home baked cake, local and fresh products..). Anything you are missing, they will take care of it or help you. That goes for our entire stay, Dan was always there to help us figure out activities or trips, the good local restaurants, information on local gastronomy and products... The 'town facing room' was perfect (good size and bathroom, plenty of plugs, very clean etc.) It's located in a very smal and picturesque village, close to anything we needed (driving). Just great! Would recommend to anyone!

Daniele and his wife Mila gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel at home in this cozy B&B. The breakfast ist amazing with homemade cake, biscuits, jam... And the food is completely organic! It is located in a small village just outside of San Giovanni d'Asso behind a hill and reachable over a gravel road.

The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was incredible and the hosts were also very nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this B&B :)

The water in the shower was a bit cold

Quiet and safe place! We had tasty breakfast every morning made by the very polite hosts. Beautiful scenery around the house and relatively close (by car) to main villages such as Pienza and Montalcino.

I love the bedroom and bathroom window which offered spectacular views of Tuscany and the truffle fields. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. They kept the place very clean. Their homemade breakfast was delicious. They're a lovely couple and Dan offered tea and coffee as soon as we arrived.

Wish we could stay longer

Great stay, very clean place and extremely comfortable beds. Ideal location for exploring the area. Host stays there but very discreet and helpful.
