The staff were all lovely. The room was wonderful, very tastefully done and the bed and linens very comfortable. Everything worked well. Modern touches like tv and coffee machine were great. Enjoyed the spa facilities time, the restaurant, the breakfast and the wine tasting. Access to ground floor room/suite and property was easy for myself with limited mobility. Parking on site easy. Pool area looked fabulous but we didn’t have time to use it this visit. Location great. Close to Montalcino, but remote enough to be a tranquil relaxing 5 star escape.

We’re only given 2 small bottles of free water for a 3 night stay. More water should be supplied. Not a worry for most but shower floor abit slippery if mobility limited. A non slip mat could be supplied.

This property is one of the best places I have ever stayed at. The location is superb in regards to the view and the rooms are just divine with the best bathrooms ever. Little cottages designed perfectly and the restaurant was 5 star with the nicest staff in the restaurant. The infinity pool is definitely a highlight.

There was a couple of reception staff I felt didn’t really have a friendly attitude. I was asking about doing the winery tour and she just was not helpful at all. Quite arrogant and didn’t want to assist it was like she as doing us a favour when we asked her a question.

Our stay at Capanna was amazing, we were already planning our return trip before we had left! All the staff are extremely friendly & happy to help. The amenities are great, the complimentary spa was incredible, so relaxing & such a great perk to have! The food was delicious, breakfast was super tasty & there was a wide range of local food including made to order hot food & coffee. The views from the property are stunning & the area is so peaceful, the hotel is close proximity to Montalcino which is a stunning hill top town with a supermarket & lots of bars/restaurants/shops.

This is hands down the best place we have ever stayed! Property is beautiful, surrounded by breathtaking views. Staff were exceptional, so accommodating & friendly! Restaurant was amazing - lots of choice for breakfast & evening menu (we had the 6 course taster course which was 100% worth it!) food was 10/10! Complementary wine tasting & use of the spa was a great touch! Perfect stop for our honeymoon, was beautiful 🤍

It was really amazing! Only one thing, it would be good to get more than 1 hour use of the spa as it had many great facilities so felt a bit rushed - but only a really small thing!

Dreamlike area, wonderful surroundings. Immediately around the hotel things are sparse but if you are interested in wine country this is an excellent place to visit. Having the spa to ourselves was like a dream and so relaxing!!! The restaurant was lovely! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating!!! They did everything they did to make us feel welcome and try to meet our every request!

I wish you could pay for additional time in the spa if other guests haven't booked the timeslot. The hard limit of one hour in the spa per reservation seems a bit inflexible to me. The bathroom as also too small.

From sunrise to sunset the view was incredible. The suites were beautifully decorated with luxurious finishes with the most comfortable bed! What sets Capanna Suites apart is the staff who provide an exceptional standard of service from the warm welcome at checkin to the enthusiasm of the chef to accommodate both vegetarian and non vegetarian alike - the food was wonderful. The restaurant staff struck the balance between professionalism and friendliness perfectly. We organised a wine tour with Daniele who was extremely knowledgeable about wine, the history of the Cencioni family and the production of this amazing wine, we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thank you to all at Capanna Suites for the wonderful memories - we will be back very soon!

This “boutique hotel” is situated in one of the best areas of Tuscany, offering breathtaking 360 degree views of beautiful Tuscan countryside anywhere you stand. With only 11 rooms (22 guests) maximum capacity, it’s ideal for anyone looking for privacy and intimacy. Their Brunello wine selection is fantastic, accompanied with good tasting menus and à la carte options. Staffs are friendly, attentive and welcoming, especially Antonio, the restaurant manager who was the star of the stay. Complementary wine tasting and private spa sessions are warmly received bonuses, room and facilities are well maintained and clean. We’d wholeheartedly recommend Capanna Suites to anyone who loves to enjoy the Tuscan beauty, and already planning for 2 stays next year!

If you are looking for a truly Tuscan, high-end experience, look no further than Capanna Suites. From the moment we arrived we were left breathless by the sweeping valley views and beautifully set out property. Wonderfully manicured gardens give way to stately buildings in traditional style. The overwhelming feeling is one of relaxation and that you are 'home'. The restaurant is excellent for all meals - it is evident that the locally sourced ingredients are just so fresh. A great place to relax and take in all that this slice of Tuscany has to offer. We will be back!

Enchanting Stay at Capanna We had an absolutely enchanting experience at Capanna Suites! The atmosphere was nothing short of magical and truly special. The rooms and bathrooms were generously spacious and incredibly comfortable, making our stay even more delightful. The thoughtful gesture of gifting a birthday wine bottle added a personal touch that made us feel truly valued. The dinner was a culinary delight, with every dish being delicious and memorable. From the aperitivo to the dessert, the staff took exceptional care of us, ensuring our every need was met. A standout was Vladimir, whose genuine warmth and authenticity won our hearts. The sincerity of the staff, from Pamela at the reception to the gentleman who guided us to the private spa, made our stay truly exceptional. We were thoroughly impressed by their hospitality. Without a doubt, we'll be returning to Capanna Suites.

Capanna suites gets a big 10! We arrived and we felt right at home. Staff was immediately very friendly and helpful. We arrived at our room and everything was perfect. The bathroom was very clean and the shower had 2 shower heads and was very spacious. The bathroom had everything from shower gel to razor blades. The bed was also lovely. Waking up in the morning with the most beautiful view ever was really special. Not to mention the restaurant. What a quality! Everything was fresh and delicious. There was a very homely atmosphere and the staff really made you feel at ease and were very interested. We also rented mountain bikes at Capanna, which I recommend to everyone. You can cycle through the vineyards and also see the incredibly beautiful surroundings of Tuscany. And if you want to relax for a day you can lie at the infinity pool with beautiful views or go to the spa. We will definitely come back to Capanna Suites!
