Location was perfect as it was quiet and a beautiful setting, place was well set up and very clean, staff were very helpful. On our last day it was raining heavily. Viola offered an umbrella to take with us. We used public transit to the historic center. It was far easier than driving and parking. 8 minutes by bus. Tickets available at reception. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The kitchen/living room area was a bit small in our suite for 2 people. And the couch was not very comfortable to sit on for more than a short time. But the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious so there is a tradeoff. If you're not planning on cooking too much its sufficient.

From the windows, we had great views of the city.

Lighting was not very good. Location was far from amenities/shops, we arrived a bit late hence we were advised to walk to the nearest pizza shop for dinner and when we did, the road was very narrow and busy, it was very risky for walk. Further, it was could but couldn’t turn on the heater apparently due to council regulations but there was not enough warm blankets provided.

Wonderful location overlooking greenery. View from the hill was sensational - could see the main town of Siena which was magical. Very close to reliable public transport into the town. Close to a small store to buy basic essentials. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with utensils and cookware to make any meal. The pool was delightful. Staff were so friendly and made me feel very welcome. Using fresh-grown herbs in my cooking was a wonderful addition to my stay. The perfect Tuscan villa stay!

It was very pleasant and comfortable, especially the bed and bathroom. The site was well-equipped with plenty of parking space. We didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely.

The sofa was uncomfortable. You could only use one ring on the wee hob. Walking into Siena was quite do-able but not in the dark.

Lovey quiet location just outside the hustle and noise of Central Siena. We drove and it was easy to get to and find - We used Waze. We also walked into Siena one day - lovely walk but I would not recommend if you have any mobility issues.

The shower curtain in the shower had seen betters days and could do with being replaced more frequently.

Perfect apartment with a view from the private terrace. Everything needed for the self catering was available. There is a little shop for bread, pastry and other first needs annex bar/pizzeria in walking distance. Pizza also for take away to the apartment. Siena is absolutely fantastic, there is so much to see and admire. The Tuscan surroundings are also very nice to visit when you have a car.

The mattresses are too hard for our taste and feeling. We prefer softer.

The apartment was very spacious with a large private outdoor seating area. The reception staff are excellent - very welcoming and helpful. The location is ideal if you want to enjoy Siena and tour the surrounding area but want to come back somewhere quiet and restful at the end of the day. The bus into central Siena is from a stop around 200m away, buses are every half hour and it takes about 20 minutes into town. From the Residence you have a lovely view of Siena across the valley - it’s only about a mile away as the crow flies. The pool wasn’t open when we stayed (October) but I imagine that it would be great at the end of a hot day in the city to have a nice cooling dip. I would recommend the shop/bar/pizzeria which is about half a mile away - people there were very friendly and the pizzas excellent.

The apartment was just what we were looking for - we decided to extend our stay in Siena - we had been in the centre of the city and wanted somewhere quieter but still with easy access. If I had one small criticism it would be in some ways the apartment/residence looks a little ‘tired’. Everything was clean but the bathrooms could maybe do with some redecoration and this could apply to other places on the site. This didn’t spoil our stay at all - in fact this is not untypical in Italy - and we love Italy all the same!

Charming setting and buildings. Great customer service. Comfortable. A good base located outside of the old city.

Buses in the evening are few and stop before 10pm, making getting home after dinner at a restaurant in the city difficult.

Good location for views and getting the bus into the city. Good transport for getting out of the city to visit San Gimignano and other beautiful towns/villages. Easy to walk down a nature path and explore the historical centre of Siena. The pool was very clean and a good size with massage jets. There were also plenty of sun loungers with a shower & toilet. We liked the spacious apartment, supply of toiletries and the outside seating. It was also a quiet and relaxing place to stay with friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Nothing wrong with the apartment to comment on.

We had a small kitchen in the apartment, very nice to make breakfast for ourself and eat on the patio. Nice garden/hotel area. Helpful and cheerful staff.

Its quite hilly surroundings so the 25 min walk to the town center can be quite a challenge (but it´s worth it!). If you dont like to walk the bus stop is only about 100 meters from the hotel.
