Nice accommodation in the middle of the historic center so it was easy to discover it and come back whenever I needed. Window was high above a side street, where was nice to watch passing by people, but it wasn’t too loud during night. One-bed room was enough bit with everything needed and bathroom. There wasn’t air condition in the room, but the big ceiling ventilator did surprisingly good job to bring fresh air from outside (it wasn’t the hottest summer).

Some light and noise coming from the street, but the most bothering switched off for night, so it was OK to sleep with open window.

We very much liked the central location, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The room was simple, but there was good wardrobe space and good shutters. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Siena.

I wish we'd known how easy it was to use the buses to get from the station into town, not far from the hotel, as we waited a long, long time for a taxi on arrival at the railway station, and the hotel wasn't able to book a taxi for us going back to the station, because there are too few taxi firms working in the town. But the bus service was really good.

This a traditional European hotel in an over 100 year old building. Bohemia would be the best description. If you are expecting everything to be ultramodern there is a 4 star hotel down the street at four times the price. This hotel is a great value. You could not ask for a better location, well insulated from the thongs of tourists. Our Friends who were staying in Siena were jealous of the central location, a 7 minute walk to any part of the city. The hotel is located off the main street and the area was very safe. Staff was always helpful, calling taxis and answering all our questions.

This is a comment on Siena and not the hotel itself. Do not even think about driving inside the walls of the city. Google maps will get you completely lost, sending you down the wrong way on one way streets. The locals made you well aware of it! Street parking is nonexistent and if you park in the wrong spot your car will get towed within the hour. I recommend that you contact the hotel and get the address of the free parking area right outside the Wall. Google maps does have this right! Park your car there and leave it there. The parking area is a 7 minute walk to the hotel or have the hotel call you a cab.

Great location, really central. It's in Sienna so obviously it doesn't have free parking as they bizarrely state. What they mean is you can park somewhere for free, by which measure I'll assume almost every hotel on the planet has 'free parking'. We got there about 5pm and found a free parking space where the suggested then just walked in, it's an easy 10 min walk. Hotel is typical older Italian style, no frills but with a no frill price. If you want frills then you're gonna need to paying for them elsewhere. We had no complaints, only there for a night so it was perfect.

breakfast was rather poor for what it is available in italy, was packaged supermarket bought stuff, with little effort and little money they may offer italian food bought at local bakery or vegetables or cheese market, spending little more and offering outstanding quality

the parking is far, the circulation of traffic is complex for whom is not local - better map, with clear delineation of the path would be helpful

Excellent location in a historic building in the heart of Siena. Close to everything worth to see. Nice reception, I fell safe, good room service. Wi-Fi was working properly.

Lack of hanger for towels and any shelf for personal cosmetics in the bathroom. Lack of any cups or glasses in the room. Basic breakfast. The hotel needs a little refreshment.

The location was really 12 points. To feel the atmosphere of the medieval city and to make just a few steps to be at the top historical attractions is important for us. A slight European breakfast was good, and the room was modest but the location compensated for everything.

There is no parking in the old town, so the guidance to find the hotel could be improved. For example, you have to make a sharp 360 degrees U-turn up the hill in the city center and it is difficult to understand, whether is it allowed or not (I doubted, maybe this is one-way traffic in the opposite direction).

Staff were very friendly and super helpful. Great location, within walking distance of Sienna del Campo. Facilities are basic, and a little dated, but very clean and serviceable. Arriving by train, there is a metered taxi rank, but you may need to be patient. The reception staff helped us book a taxi back to the station.

The hotel was only a few minutes walk from the Piazza del Campo and all the restaurants, shops and bars. The room was cleaned every day, the staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

the facilities in the room could be better, no way of making ourselves a drink etc. More power points would be good and better lighting both in the bedroom and bathroom.

The location is amazing! It's right in the centre of the city so you can walk anywere. Our room was quite spacious with high ceilings, even the view (which we didnt book anything special for) was actually quite nice.

The beds were a little creaky but that is fine, the airconditioning is just a ceilingfan but thankfully keeping the shutters closed will do a lot. The bathroom did not have any ventilaion, so it can get pretty gross in there
