Top notch hospitality. Among all of my stays in Italy, Salvatore was the only one who reached out to me first even days before the check-in and constantly communicated with me. Very responsive for anything I inquired about day and night even during my own timezone. Location is excellent (across Harmont and Blaine store) - we passed by it everywhere we went in Sorrento. It’s located on Piazza Tasso - Walking distance to the train station, bus station, port and mostly everywhere you’re going to see in Sorrento. Might get noisy during festivals or at night during parties. Breakfast was great too. Not a lot of rooms so breakfast area was relaxing and quiet. We had croissants, meats, bread, pastries, cereals, fruits, toasts and jams - all served personally for you. Plenty of drink options too. Room was a good size for 2 people, 2 opened suitcases (1 large and 1 small).

What an amazing stay at B&B Madison D’Art in Sorrento. Location: This B&B is right on Piazza Tasso and therefore has one of the best locations to stay. We used Sorrento as our launchpad for trips to Naples, Capri, Amalfi, and Pompei and the hotel was walking distance from both the train station and the marina. Rooms: Our rooms were clean and spacious. The rooms have excellent sound proofing so even though the B&B is right on Piazza Tasso, we couldn’t hear anything inside. Service: Excellent and friendly service. Our host was regularly in touch with us on WhatsApp and provided very clear instructions on how to arrive, park etc. He also provided us many helpful suggestions on trips and itinerary Breakfast: Breakfast was acceptable. Nothing fancy but exactly what we needed for a quick morning breakfast. All in all, you cannot go wrong with this B&B. Highly recommend this place in Sorrento

The location is superb. Julia and Salvatore went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The communication with them was just enough to feel like I was home and in Italy. I’m originally from Brazil but live in north America for years now. The rooms are not luxurious but very comfortable and near everything. Being greeted with a smile and a delicious cappuccino every morning was just a joy. If you are accustomed with the big hotels in the USA this is not like that. This was an old residential building with very large apartments that got kind of turned into a boutique hotel the floor we were in had about four suites I think. There is a room as soon as you get in to the apartment that is kind of like a lobby with a desk than a larger room like a living room where you can sit and enjoy being in Sorrento and in the morning part of that large room becomes a breakfast area. There is also a kitchen where they prepare the breakfast every morning. With fresh fruits, bread, cereal, yogurt, cold cuts and cheeses, fresh juice, jam and of course coffee. I felt safe in the area and is near everything with shops and great restaurant choices.

It wasn’t a problem for us but most buildings in Italy have climate control inside the apartments but not as you first enter the building like the stairwell and elevators so it can feel hotter for a minute or two before you get inside your apartment If you travel in the summer. Every time I walked inside the building I thought I was going to faint LOL. You have to understand that even though these buildings look remodeled and in good shape bust most of them are over a 100 years old.

Location is absolutely fantastic! You can over look the square from the lounge and our balcony. Making it a wonderful experience, especially at Christmas time. The staff were great too, suggesting a fantastic local guide for Pompeii, which we hired and she was fantastic. Communication was great too, with easy and clear instructions for our arrival.

Nothing really. Apart from the extra bed. We requested an extra bed, which was kindly provided but it wasn't comfortable. Just a 'put up. Definitely not suitable for a decent night sleep.

The location couldn't have been better with views right across the main Piazza Torquato Tasso from the small terrace in the communal lounge / dining room, This is a well appointed luxury establishment with communal areas with the individual apartments off. Security is a feature here with electric door locks all round and CCTV in the communal areas. Breakfast is prepared and served by the host. I have absolutely no reservation in recommending this property.

We understood check in was from 14:00-20:00 but as there's no one on site you have to arrange your individual time with the host, this was explained in a message sent on the morning of our arrival but as we were traveling when we got there we couldn't get in and the contact number on the paperwork wasn't being answered. I spoke to the host and suggested that it may be an idea to send the message the afternoon / evening of the day before guests are due to arrive, which they are going to look at.

The host was a wonderful man, fabulous breakfast, centrally located.

Salvatore was there to greet us upon arrival and was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good - typical Italian breakfast - yogurt, croissant, cheese, salami, cereal with freshly made coffee. If you're longing for a full english breakfast or something a bit more typical American, there are a few places along Corso Italia (the main street that borders the B&B) that offer that.

Was very pleased overall. The B&B is located on the 2nd floor of the building and you need to coordinate a check-in time so that you can be buzzed in through the main door the first time -- it may be a bit confusing for some travelers if they've never experienced small European hotels that only occupy a small part of a building, but for those of us who have it was fine. The B&B is located right in the heart of the action on the Piazza Tasso and is less than a 10 minute walk to the train station. It was an excellent value and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again should I get back to Sorrento.

- It was very clean and cosy. - The location is top. Close to the train station, port ferry station, and bus station. It's easy to go to Naples, Pompeii and the Amalfi coast from here. - The staff was very friendly.

- It was a bit noisy in the mornings when the breakfast was being prepared, starting at 07:30. A glass was broken in one of the mornings. - The breakfast is nothing special as advertised - The value for money is a bit high. I guess it's due to the destinations around - the Amalfi coast and Pompeii.

This place is fantastic! It is the perfect mix between old charm and modern comfort. I loved every antic detail but I also loved the modern suites with a very spacious and modern bathroom. Location is perfect! It is just minutes to the port. Listen to Salvatore advices in terms of transportation, restaurants, etc. Breakfast is very European Style (croissants, cheese, meat cuts) but always fresh and on time. Coffee is delicious! My husband got sick, and the staff was also very helpful. We will come back!!

The location of the place is perfect, in the middle of the main road, you can walk to any shop, restaurant, church, train station, bus station anything is walking distance, the only thing far is the port but then you can either take a mini bus that leave you 5 min from the place or walk 10 min to the lift that take you down to the port. The place is modern and clean, you got a fridge in the room. The rooms are very silent, but he only bad is the buzzer when you open the room door that is very noisy, but we had no noises at all from the outside. Maria Luisa is super nice and helpful make you feel welcome and look after.
