The staff were excellent at giving attention to our needs in a kind voice. The property and furnishings are excellent in every way. We will hope to return! Thank you for everything.

A few ( only a few) issues with the shower in the poolside room. Still lovely.

the gorgeous room … well appointed … balconies were terrific… so clean and serviced twice a day. breakfast brilliant. staff exceptional… they were exceedingly helpful (even helping us book and pay for our rail tickets). plus the central location was a bonus. loved the fact that I could book my excursions through the hotel months before my arrival … and everything was taken care of professionally. a great place to chill out under the Sorrento moon. PS must mention the pool area … I felt like a film star in my private Leon garden, with gorgeous waiters at my beck and call

Everything was wonderful. The location is one block from the main road with all the restaurants and shops. This hotel sits on what looks like a castle. Everyone was welcoming and went above and beyond to show all the amenities, and also answer any questions that came up. The breakfast was great and served in a beautiful room overlooking the fortress as well as a well-kept outdoor area with lovely flowers blooming and the famous giant lemon 🍋 trees.

I wish the pool was open later than 6 pm. Seems pretty standard though for many of the local hotels.

Our rooms were located next to the breakfast room and kitchen and we were woke up every morning by the noise before 6am. The only bad thing to say about this hotel.

Breakfast was good but far too many cakes. More savoury dishes would have been better. Don’t think we needed cheesecake or chocolate gateaux at that time in the morning. Freshly made crusty loaves would have been a good addition too. Minor issues with the soundproofing in the bedrooms. You could hear someone in the next door room flushing their toilet all times of the night. Was strange to get no saucers for the coffee cups or tea spoons. Tea & coffee weren’t replenished once used. Had to ask at reception.

Everything! It was magical! The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, great location near shopping & dining galore. The breakfast buffet was exceptional! The staff in the breakfast room also were in charge of the pool bar, food &towel service. We loved the selection of drinks & food at the pool. It was our favorite & most relaxing time when we were out at the pool.I cannot even tell you how impressed we were! The list goes on&on! Highly recommend. If/when we come back to Sorrento, we will not hesitate in staying here again.Loved the chocolates at night too! Rocco is a gem!

We could not have found a better base for our 10 day visit to the Sorrento / Amalfi region. The central but “tucked away” location of the hotel in Sorrento makes all restaurants, shops and attractions walkable but at the same time the hotel is quiet and away from any noise. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained…the feel of the hotel is slightly old school, but in a good way and classy…everything about Antiche Mura is quality and attention is clearly paid to every detail by a team of people who only know one way to do things - perfectly. The garden / pool area was bigger and nicer than the impression we’d got from the photos we’d seen. Great poolside food and drinks service at very reasonable prices. Excellent breakfast choices and always a warm welcome to the breakfast room from the team. And last but by no means least the staff are individually warm, friendly and very helpful and as a team a well oiled machine focused on total guest satisfaction. It’s clear there are people who return regularly to the Antiche Mura…we can totally see why, and we may do the same. Thank you all for a wonderful and relaxing holiday base.

What are the chances in a 10 day stay in any hotel, that you could not find even one small negative thing ..? Pretty low I’d say…but honestly here, nothing could have been better. Ancora …grazie mille ..!!

The hotel was beautiful, the staff were super friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Our room was just off the pool which was so lovely and the breakfast in the morning had a good choice. We are getting married in Sorrento in 2026, would definitely come back and stay here!

The only thing we needed to request help from the staff about was the air conditioning, we stayed in November and the air con is switched off. However, the staff were really accommodating and provided us with a fan which was perfect.

The hotel grounds are beautiful. The pool was still open and many guests spent the afternoons out by the pool. The breakfast buffet had a huge assortment of breakfast items to choose from.

My room was very cozy and comfortable but very small. The desk and kettle were actually located in a landing outside of my room. Before I booked the room the staff told me about the small room so it was not a problem. I would have liked to have had the desk and kettle in my room. I would also like to have somewhere to hang wet clothes.
