The pictures are real. These are the views from the hotel. As the host says as you enter the gates - 'Welcome to my Paradise' A beautiful old pensione-style hotel surrounded by 500 olive trees. My room was large and cool (it gets hot. in Sorrento) with an amazing view down to Sorrento and across the bay to Vesuvius in the distance. The exposed rock of the cliff and the big comfortable four post bed meant it was a really lovely place to be. Secure outer door and insect mesh meant leaving the inner doors open and listenting to the night. You are not in the town so no cars or traffic noise. The bathroom was very clean with a great (large - 2 people +) proper hot shower. The host - was AMAZING. Beond helpful and nothing too much trouble. He collected me and others from a cafe near the station and was happy to shuttle guests down into the town in the morning too. He collects from the town at 9,10 & 11PM so you can enjoy the evenings in the town with no Taxi fares. Try the restaurants he recommends too... He also runs one of the excursion agents in the town so you get personal service for booking tours and visits to nearby sites and coastal towns. The one-day Capri boat tour is highly recommended. Breakfast is a simple affair but with freshly baked breads, local foods and olive oil from the trees around you. The terrace view is one of the best too. This was a two-day business stay due to a local conference. But I'm already planning and booking my return to stay here again in October 2024. I cannot wait!

This B&B property is beautifully located above Sorrento. It has a lovely terrace where breakfast is served with gorgeous views of the Bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvius, the town of Sorrento and the Lattari Mountains. Our room was spacious and clean with a private outdoor seating area right in front of our door. The host, Gianluigi, is remarkable. He shuttles his guests from the property to Sorrento, just a few minutes below, as needed, is able to assist with booking guided tours to various tourist attractions, and makes sure breakfast is served with fresh brioche every day and other goodies.

At first we were a bit surprised about the steep ascent to the property on a very narrow road. But quickly this concern vanished as we realized that Gianluigi goes out of his way to shuttle his guests to and from town accommodating their schedule as best possible. We also realized that many properties share the same problem, steep ascent and narrow road to the site, simply due to the geography of the area.

The location was amazing, on top of the hill away from the crowds in the city center. You wake up to a fabulous view of the Sorrento bay, Mount Vesuvius and the mountains around. The host Gianluggi is all energy, very passionate about the property and has ensured that every detail is taken care of. If having breakfast in the morning with a view to die for, sipping wine in the night in the solitude of the mountains makes you happy this is the place to go. Since it’s away from the city center, he has a schedule to pick up guests from the city center and makes it extremely easy if you are staying there.

Romantic, & spectacular view from the top! Relaxing & enjoyable dining area outside rainy or sunny days. Love it. My room is big, & cute with a balcony. The owner went far beyond to drop me down on rainy days like yesterday. He even gave me free pick up, & drop off to my bus station. What else to expect! I would definitely recommend his hotel to everyone.

First, I didn't like the location because it was a little far away, but the owner was super nice. He showed me shortcuts to go down to town, & pick me up at night time.

We had a wonderful stay in Casarufolo Paradise! The host, Gianluigi was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, offering a daily shuttle service between the hotel and the town center, which made getting around very convenient. Although it’s a 20-minute walk to the town center, the route is pleasant. The breakfast was very good with fresh figs from the garden served on a terrace that offers a stunning view of Vesuvio. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Everything was good

The view was amazing! The host Gianluigi has so much knowledge in the area and not only was able to transport us to and from town each day but gave us pointers for the best pizza shop, which buses/trains to get to the airport and Pompeii. He also recommended what we do with our time. Gianluigi also has a travel business he can hook you up with bookings - we had rebooked everything and regretted not having Gianluigi organise for us. The view from our rooms and the back deck were breathtaking and romantic Breakfast was delicious and sufficient. It really became our home away from home. We will be back!

Everything was great! The hotel is ontop of the hill so whilst it is an easywalk to town (downhill) it is very steep and not suitable with someone who has bad knees. Luckily Guinluigi was available to help us get to the bus station with our luggage :)

Location was off the beaten track and so nice , added a lot to the experience You need a car, or to take advantage of the amazing host who is happy to take you into town, and do two pick ups per evening The walk is uphill and about 50 mins! Quite the adventure if you like the walk The coffee is great, the host goes above and beyond to make you happy. So wonderful to have met gianiluigi, he was so fun, charming, polite welcoming and accommodating Views are fantastic, brekkie is nice and the hotel is lovely

The location was stunning. Amazing views. The ride up and down is quite an adventure. The host, Gianluiggi, is amazing. He is so accommodating. He has to transport customers up and down all day long and always does it with a smile. His mantra is "no problem." At breakfast, his tomatoes and olive oil (both his own) are amazing.

The rooms are a bit stuffy - no ac and not much air circulation. One room was large, and one fairly small. The breakfast could have been a bit more extensive - fruit and some protein options. But overall, the juice, bread, olive olive, and tomatoes were amazing. Vacationers should be aware that this property is only accessible via a ride from the host. However, he does everything to accommodate the needs of his guests.

Our stay at Casarufolo Paradise couldn’t have gone any better! The adventure began with a slightly nervy hill climb in our hire car (wouldn’t recommend you have anything bigger than a fiat 500 as single narrow track!). Not one for the faint hearted but a hilarious experience and we were helpfully guided up by a neighbour who took us right up into the hills, to the gates of Casarufolo Paradise. On arrival we were greeted by Gianluigi who has to be one of the nicest people we have ever met. He welcomed us in warm heartedly and immediately asked about our plans and explained how he could assist with excursions or lifts down the hill when we needed to visit Sorrento. Thankfully his English was a million times better than our Italian so nothing was lost in translation. We walked to Sorrento on our first day, down the hill but it was only 15 / 20 mins so very easy for a family, including a 5 year old. Gianluigi gave us several time options for pick ups in the evening but said if you get tired or lost to call and he would pick us up. Eventually he did pick us up an hour early when our daughter ran out of energy, as 5 year olds do. The following day Gianluigi and his wife made us a lovely breakfast on the terrace and the view of Sorrento was stunning in the sunlight. Again he offered to drive us down the hill which we took up on this occasion. We spent a wonderful day eating and drinking and again he picked us up and ferried us up the hill. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he and his wife took care of us and were great with our daughter. Our room was a good size and the beds were made daily. We had a fridge and two double beds. A good night sleep was had by all. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Casarufolo Paradise and hope to return there in the future. 5 Stars from us…. Perfecto!!

We have nothing negative to say about Casarufolo Paradise. If you are looking for luxury or all the facilities this isn’t the place for you. However. if you are looking for a wholesome experience with wonderful hosts in a beautiful hilltop location, then look no further!

The host was super friendly and helpful. We were unlucky with the weather, we had pouring rain for two days, and the hotel is pretty high up the mountain with steep walk, but thanks to the host, we only had to walk down once, he was picking up everyone in his car on the way to town and back, all we had to do is call or text him. The most beautiful part of the property is the terrace, but due to continuous rain we were only able to have breakfast there on our last day.
