I arrived in the evening to the garden all lit up & thought maybe I was in heaven. I awoke next day to find it was true! Perfect for solo travellers, location great as so peaceful & safe then 5 mins walk or less even & you are on Corso Italia. The beautiful Italian family will help you if you need or leave you to be private. You can book a lovely breakfast in the garden room & also a session at the Sorrento’s Tasty Garden cook school. I would like to keep this place a secret so there is a vacancy for me but I also want to write about it so others can share this delightful experience. Italian hospitality at its best.

We stayed at Chalet Lidia for 5 nights and couldn’t be happier with the accommodation. Giuseppe and his family welcomed us and were so lovely throughout the entire stay, always checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Words cannot describe how beautiful the grounds are, with a great pool and areas for relaxation. I have never stayed on a more beautiful property. The Chalet itself was perfect and had everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower was great, and the bed was very comfortable. They have a cooking class as well, which is a must do! I wish I could rate this place an 11/10, as a 10 simply doesn’t do it justice. We will be back!

Suite Lidia is centrally located close to the Marina Grande swim club and to the beautiful center of Sorrento. It is literally a lush garden oasis with native lemon and olive trees. Upon entering the property through a charming arched doorway, you’re greeted by the heavenly scent of gardenias. When we first arrived our host, Giuseppe, greeted us outside the entrance and we immediately felt like treasured guests. The lovely swimming pool has views of the cliffs in the distance. The doorway of our suite opened to our own outdoor sitting area beneath lemon trees and flowers. Each morning we were greeted with a beautifully set breakfast table. Breakfast included freshly baked Italian pastries, freshly layed eggs from the resident hens, a variety of Italian charcuterie, and espresso and teas. Our hosts Giuseppe and Angelo catered to our every need which included finding excellent local wine for us to enjoy in our private sitting area, recommending some excellent restaurants and making our dinner reservations for us. We have already recommended Suite Lidia to friends and plan to return soon.

Chalet Lidia was an absolute DREAM! I will recommend it to anyone and everyone I know. The location is amazing, right in the middle of historic downtown, but feels secluded and tucked away. We felt like we were part of the family right when we got there. You open your own private gate to a gorgeoussss garden with lemon trees everywhere. Breakfast was made fresh for us, the pool was amazing, and the chalet was perfect! Giuseppe was extremely helpful right from the start - he helped with our bags, walked us through a city map with recommendations, helped us book a beach day, and was just very accessible throughout our entire stay. Angelo taught our cooking class (HIGHLY recommend) and also gave us some great recommendations throughout our stay. Again, we felt like we were part of the family! The family made everything so easy for us, and we had the best time! Definitely the highlight of our Amalfi Coast trip.

Chalet Lidia was perfect for our stay in Sorrento. Its is a beautiful chalet with everything you need and more. The host Giuseppe and his family were so helpful and kind, they ensured everything was perfect for our stay. Our welcoming check in with the family made us feel very at home. We had an amazing time and could not recommend this stay more. The swimming pool and beautiful garden is amazing!!! We had the best time and would love to come back! The family treated us with kindness and hospitality ! They checked in regularly to ensure everything was perfect ! Thank you so much for a great stay !

This place is absolutely phenomenal. One of the most unique and incredible properties i have ever seen. It is a magical and peaceful garden oasis in the middle of Sorrento. The family that own and run it are so friendly and welcoming. You are treated as if you are relatives visiting from out of town. Stunning garden with multiple lemon trees, roses, flowers, sparkling pool and hammocks. Everything in town is a short walk away. They offer cooking classes and a yummy homemade breakfast. This place is almost surreal. I imagine it's often booked but if you can find it available it doesn't get better than this. Incredible.

Perfect location and the chalet was cosy and cleaned daily. Giuseppe and his family were warm and welcoming throughout our entire stay. The communication was superb - we cannot fault a single thing! The cooking class by Angelo was fantastic as well as his breakfasts. His own wine which they provide is lovely! We didn’t want to leave! If you are struggling to decide on accommodation in Sorrento then stop looking and book this one!!

We loved everything!!

The accommodation is in the centre of Sorrento accessed by a gate into a beautiful tranquil garden area, and very large chalet (suite). The suite had a huge bed, combined lounge and kitchen area, a walk through space with a wardrobe, and large bathroom. Outside we had a porch area to sit and have breakfast and relax. There is also a lovely pool for guests to enjoy. Guiseppi was the perfect host and provided valuable assistance to us throughout our stay. Guiseppi helped with our onward ferry booking to Naples and also drove us to the port on our last day at Chalet Lidia.

In our opinion, there is nothing to improve at Chalet Lidia.

The breakfast prepared by Angelo was excellent. Every day we had a beautifully prepared table with so many options. Breakfast was always ready on time and Angelo explained the daily pastry which was always delicious. There was always fresh fruit available. Every day was something new and different! The grounds are beautifully kept. It’s like a little oasis inside the gates. Everyone on this property was helpful and courteous from our friendly greeting to Angelo carrying our bags to our taxi. I can’t wait to return to this beautiful property. Thank you for a perfect stay in Sorrento! ❤️

Our stay was well above expectations - the most gorgeous & peaceful property with the best hosts we’ve ever had! The authentic Sorrento gardens are absolutely incredible with pretty fairy-lights, lemon trees, plenty of lovely places to sit, the pool is beautiful. Gusippe is incredibly helpful, warm and friendly and went above and beyond during our stay. The whole family is very kind and helpful and provided great local knowledge. Breakfast was amazing. The service was great, with a daily room clean. The location is perfect, with a 5 min walk into the marina, port and town for plenty of restaurants and shops! Hope to stay back here again!
