The casa is situated on the top of one of the many little tuscany hills and therefore one gets a wide view over the area including the castle of Brolio. There‘s a big main building where the breakfast room and tea room is located and where one can have the delicious breakfast. The swimming pool is great and the loungers there are of high quality. The hosts are very helpful: getting luggage with golf cart to your room, providing info of area together with restaurant recommendations, .. The distance to Siena is not so far, approx. 25 min, as you are in the heart of Tuscany.

AC was not working, but we were told that it will be repaired soon.

Spectacular location in an abandoned old village on top of a hill among vineyards. Amazing swimming pool with lots of sun beds and umbrellas with beautiful views. Spacious and air-conditioned suites (must have in summer time). Additional self-service available (laundry, iron & iron board, coffee pods). The owner provided a list of local restaurants and shops, which was very convenient and helpful to start your stay. Well regarded privacy of the guests.

Minor improvements opportunities in the kitchen: missing cutting board, paper towels, tired pans.

I'd give this place 11/10 if I could. Simply one of the most beautiful and memorable places we've ever been. If you picture an idyllic Tuscan villa in the hills, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, with 1000-year-old stone buildings and a gorgeous outdoor dining area, you'd be close here. We were greeted by the lovely staff who did everything to make us feel welcome. The cooking class we took with Paola was one of the most fun experiences of my travel life. Lovely swimming pool to relax on hot days. We used their list of recommendations for vineyards, restaurants, and activities in the area and found it to be spot on. One of the vineyards even offered us free tastings since they have a deal with the B&B. We stayed 3 nights and really wish it could have been longer.

Really minor gripe but the WiFi didn't reach the room. It worked fine in all the common spaces, though. And this is the type of place you visit in order to disconnect anyway.

This property is absolutely 10/10, we would recommend it in a heartbeat. Gorgeous farmhouse and beautiful grounds surrounded by vineyards with a communal pool, loungers, terrace area, shared kitchen and living room area. Our room (Aldo) was spacious and peaceful - we didn’t hear any of the other guests. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was delicious, homemade salads, cakes and pastries among the cured meats, cheeses etc selection and options for eggs cooked to order - a plentiful spread and served up in a cute traditional farmhouse style breakfast room. We also booked onto the cooking class with Paola available Mon/Thurs which we’d also highly recommend, learning to make pasta in the company of other guests and finished with a family style dinner on the terrace was heaps of fun and a highlight of our trip.

Exceptionally restored village. I loved the buildings. I read on one of the buildings they are from the 900s (not 1900s). The way they have a board to write down drinks you take around the property is very efficient. The pool is great and the breakfast was delicious. Gabriele and Joanna were fantastic managers and were helpful with every need. The cooking class was fun too. The tagliatelle and chicken came out superb. Highly recommend taking it. The prosecco served made the class easier to follow. Ebikes on the property were a delightful way to explore other nearby towns and castles.

The AC would have been nice if it could get more colder.

This is a must visit stay in Tuscany! We absolutely loved the breathtaking surroundings and the beautiful rooms! A stroll around these magnificent place felt tranquil and serene. The puppy dogs in the property were very friendly too. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful. We had to checkout early in the morning and the staff left us a cake package it was so sweet of them. We thoroughly enjoyed this serene place!!

Some minor suggestions from our side - We booked the room “Anna” which is right beside the kitchen area and therefore could get slightly noisy if there are lots of people in the kitchen area. Also a shower area in the bathroom would have been nicer than the bathtub.

the place is absolutely beautiful. gorgeous Tuscany view from any spot and window , lovely historic authentic houses, highly maintained.

a tiny but significant issue - the place is so beautiful and well maintained, but the hospitality feels stingy - only 2 capsules for coffee machine (for 2 nights stay) and you have to actively ask for more, breakfast (extra pay) made with no love, jacuzzi use for extra pay etc. it makes you feel that although the hospitality is quite efficient, it made with no passion or love and it makes the stay less enjoyable than it can or should be

The breathtaking views and the decor of the place made us feel as if we were in a fairytale. There is a great terrace facing the vineyards, ideal to have a meal or a drink. Also, the gardens are perfectly maintained and the pool is wonderful! From here, we went one day to Rada in Chianti and the next, to Florence. Came back with focaccia sandwiches to eat outside before sunset!

There was no shower, only a bath tub; and only dairy milk (no plant based alternatives)

Everything, it is true what they say that you can't put into words how beautiful Borgo Argenina is. Nestled at the top of the hill with incredible views, the first thing that hit you is the wonderful smell of lavender in the air as you drive in. The rooms were fantastic, the breakfast incredible and the pool amazing for spending time during the heat of the day. Already saved as our place to go when we're back in the Chianti region! Plus Stefania was kind enough to recommend vineyards to visit around the area to make the most of our visit - mind you, whilst you most likely will need a car they also rent out e-bikes for those more adventurous.

One little thing was that we didn't get full wifi across our room, only in specific spots, but we took it as an opportunity to disconnect from reality! Another suggestion that might be useful to have is a little salumi or cheese to have if you don't want to go out for dinner or for a quick lunch - but really with the pizzeria just a 10mins drive away I understand there is little need.

The setting is magical. We spent two days relaxing by the pool, overlooking hills and vineyards. Our room was very large and with a great view. Breakfast is lovely and plentiful, and enjoyed on the terrace. We didn't have a car but we understand there are great restaurants in the area. We ended up cooking in the kitchen for dinner, or barbeque (10 euros) for the other night. The area is also lovely for early morning runs.

We weren't informed that the laundry service or use of the barbeque would be charged to us. Laundry service = 10 euros & Use of Barbeque is 10 euros FYI Taxi from Siena to the villa costs about 45 euros
