Everything was beautiful. Staff was excellent. Breakfast and bar were great.

We used GPS from Rome to property. It took us through 4-5 km of unkept gravel road. It was a very difficult drive. We thought we broke our axel at one point. Hotel front desk said that the recommended way to reach them was another path that would only come up on GPS if routed via Siena. We were staying at another resort 2 days later and they warned us by e-mail how to get to them also via unpaved road so we were expecting it. Our drive in to Dievole really put a damper on our first impression. I asked Lorenzo at the front desk to put into their confirmation to future guests the recommended way to reach the resort. Hopefully the resort will do so.

This place was absolutely amazing. My husband, and our two friends stayed here for two nights while in Tuscany. Everything was better than the photos, and we were catered to every second. We also rented E-bikes and rode to Sienna. The waiters were amazing and so was the food. I can’t say enough about this place. We wished we could have stayed longer. I’m never one to go to the same place twice, but we WILL be back!

This property was beautiful! We came as a group of 6 and we could not fault the service from staff, the beautiful rooms or delicious food on offer! We loved the fact the food is all locally sourced from the village and the food was delicious each time we ate. We had 2 dinners and lunch there everyday. We also ate out in a nearby restaurant (11 mins away) which was incredible and very rustic feel. The wine tasting was amazing and looking over the vine yards everyday was beautiful!

No fault of the property, but as the property is in a small town you need a car to access Siena or other towns. I highly recommend you rent a car before arriving. There was also lots of wasps and mosquitoes around open areas, so bug spray is definitely needed. However, we did not experience one insect in our room which was great!

We missed our designated flight, so my husband and I arrived super late. There was a lovely young lady waiting for us and she promptly called her friends to come and help us with the suitcases. All other staff were asleep. The kitchen was closed but they managed to produce for us a lovely tray of cold cuts and of course, an excellent bottle of wine from their cellar. This type of attention makes one's stays special. The wine tasting was very good, and the dinners we had were excellent. Needless to say, the scenery was spectacular, it is in a wonderful location.

We liked everything but driving our rented car was a touch tricky in the middle of the night. I would highly recommend trips in the daytime!

First, I’d like to start by stating that we travel a lot and have been to several countries and stayed at many hotels, airbnbs, resorts, etc., so we consider ourselves well versed in travel. Dievole is a beautiful property with views that truly speak for themself. We enjoyed leisurely walks through the property with a phenomenal glass (or two) of wine. The restaurant was top quality food. I had the pigeon (which was an interesting choice, but was cooked so incredibly well. Breakfast was top notch! We were out and about through most days, but the last day we lounged at the pool with a bottle of their tremendous white wine and wish we had done that another day because it was such a relaxing time. The service is truly wonderful and the staff were so great. We stayed in a room that was recently built (I’m talking we could smell the new wood) and it was great. We enjoyed a wine tasting there as well. I wish we had another day to take in all that is offered.

We would 100% stay here again, but some small adjustments would send this resort from a 10/10 to 11+/10 is renewing the pillows, adding maybe a jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna and having a partnership with an e-bike company that comes on site. I would also say that marketing the services that are offered more is a good opportunity (trails, what the resort can arrange for you, etc could be done more than it currently is). We were told “just ask the wine shop” but it seemed like there should or could be partnerships that are done with the resort for different experiences in the region.

At the end of a long trip, we wanted to spend a night in a quiet and relaxing place so we decided to stay at the Dievole Wine Resort. It turns out that this was all that we wanted and much more and exceeded our expectations. As we drove in we realized that this was a luxurious place, more like a private club than just a resort. From the arrival we were welcomed by Adina from the front desk. She was very professional and helped us get the most out of our stay. She made us feel really welcomed. At Adina’s suggestion, we visited the Wine-shop where we were hosted by Gianni. He introduced us to the Dievole wines and he also gave us a quick tour of the cellars. It was a very instructive, entertaining and very... tasty :-). The dinner was an out of this world experience. Antonio, the maître/sommelier, explained in details the food and wine pairings, making the experience absolutely fantastic (I call it experience, because this was no ordinary dinner). He was friendly and professional in the same time. To make the experience even better, Monika, the chef, stopped by our table to say hello and see if everything was OK. Her food was way better than anything else we had throughout this trip. As far as the place itself, the pictures don’t do it justice. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, well-appointed and the WiFi worked great. About the location I would only say that it was beautiful. Every way you looked, as far as you could see, there were hills covered in forests and vineyards. To those interested, I would add that the prices for the room, wine, and food, while not cheap, were a lot more affordable than one would think and a good value for what you get. Also, everyone we met spoke English perfectly, so that made our visit so much more comfortable. I definitely recommend this place and I wish I could stay again on my next visit to Tuscany. I couldn't stay there forever.

Infinity pool with panoramic view. Beautiful grounds. Light, clean & comfortable room. Lovely bathroom with a window and a shelf to sit on in the shower. Great restaurant & bar. Breakfast outside on charming terrace.

It seems common in the area, but the access road is gravel not tarmac so you have to drive very slowly for a couple of km. We would have liked to have dinner outside but this didn’t seem to be an option.

We absolutely loved our stay! The property of Dievole as well as the buildings are all immaculately maintained. We enjoyed the breakfast daily and loved the pool. The staff at Dievole go out of their way to be kind and helpful. It is a 20 minute drive to Siena, we enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the hotel and pool during the day and then drove to Siena for late afternoon sight seeing and dinner. Truly one of the nicest hotels in the area!

Nothing!

Beautiful wine resort located in the heart of La Toscana. The best, and probably the only way to get there is by renting a car, no nearby buses nor trains available. Even though the infrastructure looks old, it is very well kept, maintaining the classic architecture. The resort has nice gardens all around to sit and chill, two pools, we liked the infinite pool that has a great view to the vineyards and valley. The room was spacious, very confortable, big bed, big bathroom. The breakfast was good, with plenty of options. Personnel was very kind, above all, those at the bar/restaurant, very friendly and looking after us for giving a great experience always.

A little expensive

It provides everything that you imagined when you booked this resort - serene, relaxing, amazing view of the vineyards, there is no disappoitment. Must have dinner at its restaurant - very tasty, wonderful staffs at a reasonable price. One of the most comfy beds that I had in Italy.

Their hands(or face) towel is not a towel, but a linen. Enough drinking water in the room would be nice. 1.5km of unpaved road to the hotel, not terrible though.
